I have owned this charger for over 10 years, originally just used it to charge my boat battery several times during the winter months. Now I have an older garden tractor that has to have a boost all the time as the starter/charger does not work correctly. I have abused the 50 amp boost starting the tractor to the point the unit was smoking on more than one occasion and this unit keeps coming back for more. If this one quits it will not owe me anything and I will replace it with the same model.I had the use of my buddy's charger for years and had to return it. This unit works exactly like that unit, only newer.I've owned this product for about 30 days and had one occasion to use it. Battery in my truck was completely dead, so I broke out the battery charger/starter. It took about 10 minutes of charging to get the battery some charge, and with additional help of the this unit, I was able to start the truck. The unit was not able to furnish enough juice to start the truck by itself when the battery was completely dead. I was happy with the result. The product does what it says it does. Delivery was prompt. The price was fair.Menotek Travel and Car USB Charger Kit

The products are good, convenient but I think they charge slower than Apple's own charger that comes with the IPad. But still a good product.Read Best Reviews of Menotek Travel and Car USB Charger Kit Here
Great product and very convenient... it is a great alternative and charges my iPhone as it is supposed to.In a car it will charger slower because it does not have access to enough power.
I would recommend them to everyone! The 12 v Unit will not charge iPad. I get a "not charging" on iPad screen. Maybe this is just a defective unit.

Downsides: I haven't figured out how to integrate it with the speak-to-call and message reading systems of the phone. I don't know if that will work, but it doesn't work out of the box. Also, I have to train myself to turn it off when I leave the car. It has such a long range that I can be 50 feet from the unit and it still picks up the calls so I have to put the phone on speaker to hear the caller. There's always something. This is my second one of these bluetooths. The first one didn't break, it got stolen from my car. I had it for about two years and I was so happy with it that I didn't want to replace it with anything else, so I'm glad they still make them. The battery seems to last forever. Every few months, I decide to recharge it just in case, but I've never had the battery die on me. I just don't get it, it never dies. I hear perfectly on it and I've never had anyone ask me to repeat anything or tell me they couldn't hear me. It couldn't be easier to program or operate. I hope this one lasts forever or that they never stop making them.

- FM support A2DP STEREO music streaming
- Enjoy high quality Stereo music in your phone/iPod/MP3 via Car's audio system
- Auto detect the free FM channel with FM Clear Channel Scan
- Auto awake when car door open
- Text-To-Speech Voice to announce Caller Name in 5 languages (EN, ES, FR, DE, IT)
1. The frequencies are picked automatically by the device which means only 4 fixed ones. And the ones it picks are usually really close to other radio stations giving bad interference.
2. The battery I think loses some of it power while transmitting to the car radio, and after about an hour of play time the radio station starts fading and picking up a lot of white noise. I also didnt like that to use the radio feature you had to hold in on the side button to swap between phone calls being made and playing music. Seriously, I am okay with two big buttons being on the unit, one for phone calls and one for music play and pause. The audio read out of the radio station used was annoying and a digital read out of the number would have been better.
Over all the unit is a good idea. It just needs to not be so "simple" on the buttons, which makes it more complex because I have to remember what holding a button in for 1 sec, 2 sec, 4 sec, 6 sec ect does.
For the price it needs some work.I love the way this transmitter wakes itself up when I get into the car, the strong bass sound that comes through, and the ability to clamp it to my visor so it is out of the way & the microphone is right over my head.
There are a couple of minor things to point out. When setting it up, be extremely careful to NOT push & hold the + button as this can change the language & it doesn't change through them as easily as the directions suggest. Also, it does not work while charging. The owners manual is online only and is in extremely small print when printed out.
The above issues were totally minor to me. Oh yeah, I changed languages by accident & it took me almost 30 minutes to cycle through the other 4 languages (5 total) to get back to English. hehehe All in all a pretty good value.Quick and simple. It works with calls, it doesn't work when trying to search for an FM frequencies. Keeps finding frequencies my Bose stereo cannot tune to I.E. 108.0 or 103.45. I decided to keep it and use it as a hands free device when driving but don't bother using it to broadcast your smart phone MP3 player on your car stereo.
Update; After leaving my review for this product (above) I was contacted by the seller who wanted to make things right. He in fact did make things right. He contacted his vendor and asked about the frequencies I mentioned above and found his vendor sent him the wrong model. The model I reviewed above was actually a European model. He sent me the U.S. model and I tested it out. It does work as described but the battery gets weak after short duration's of use. I plugged Avantalk car charger up and when it gets constant power its a great little device. I would've given 5 stars if the battery was better.

Overall the CLS1450CB is a great radio/phone combo that meets my needs. When looking at this product remember it is a radio FIRST and a phone second. For this reason, the phone features are fairly basic and the radio range far surpasses the cordless phone range. I'll break it down into two parts:Radio Standard UHF 1W 4CH
If you are familiar with the Motorola CLS1110 & CLS1410 then you will notice the same design and features built into this radio. The form factor is slightly larger than the traditional CLS series radio but uses the same charger, batteries, and audio accessories. The quality is also slightly better than the CLS1110 and CLS1410 radios and has a larger screen with 4 lines of text. Standard features found in the CLS1410 are included in this model such as scan and 4 total channels. Range is on par with other low power UHF radios (couple floors in building, 1/4-1 mile outdoors) should cover a warehouse perfectly fine which I think these would be great for.
Phone 2.4ghz Cordless FHSS
The phone function of this device is pretty straight forward and offers all of the basic features found on today's cordless handsets (Flash/Talk, End, Redial, CID, Call Waiting, Speaker phone, nice screen, etc.) Ringtones are a nice mix of loud and soft/musical and you have the choice of ten tones. Phone is 2.4ghz but does NOT interfere with wireless internet since it is FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) this means the phone and base are constantly moving to clear frequencies as you talk or the phone sits idle, all seamlessly without you noticing. Every once in a while the handset will say "searching for base" for a few seconds and then re-register. I have never been bumped off a call or experienced the "searching for base" during a phone call. Range is adequate but certainly not as far as the radio range. Mount the base up in a high location (like in a warehouse) and you will easily get the stated range. I use this setup in an office where we use the CLS radios to communicate, only I have the CLS radio & phone. The base is located on the first floor and I can walk outside and go about 50-100ft before the signal starts breaking up. It quickly gets worse until you can't hear the other person clearly and must walk back into range. Overall very happy with the rangethose users who really need to roam their property, use the phone in multi-story buildings, or need clear communciations 2 blocks from the office should look at the DuraFon by Engenius.
Overall happy with my purchase and would recommend to other businesses who are already using the complimentary CLS two-way radios.

Nature Power 41007 Competition Amorphous Solar Panel, 7-watt

I set up three of them on the deck in February on an overcast day and hooked them up to a discharged car battery. With my voltmeter I could tell they were putting out around 24 to 25 volts each and sure enough, the battery went from 10.4 volts (way too dead to even turn over the engine) to 12.5 volts (fully charged) by evening.
With solar panels it's dollars per watt that counts for comparison. Right now, anything that sells for about 2 bucks per watt is a good deal which is what I paid for mine. I could have bought two 100 watt panels, but I'm planning on putting my panels on roof mounted tilting axis poles so they can track the sun, and these panels are only 16" wide so the pole can be mounted very close to the roof and still get a high degree of tilt in either direction for tracking, but still be low enough not to get blown off by any nasty winds.
And panels are easy to link. Just connect the wires together in parallel (all the red wires to one big wire, all the black wires to one big wire) to increase your amperage. Each one puts out .58 amps so my 28 panels should provide just over 16 amps of charging power with a charge controller in line that will be plenty to fast charge a couple of deep cycle batteries and run lots of small appliances with an inverter.

I added a cigarette lighter (wired direct to battery) in my motorcycle sadlebag for my phone charger, this allows me to just plug in without having to remove the seat or add another wire to my battery post(another opportunity to short!) I want to point out, if your looking for one of those pigtails that is the more universal (battery tender style) plug, this is not it. I have the NOCO, I don't know if it works with anything else, but it does not use the standard 2 wire trailer plug that many others use.Read Best Reviews of NOCO GC003 NOCO Genius Black/Red 12V Male Cigarette Connector Here

This product will not work on my Lexus. It does on my 1998 BMW Z3. I think it is because the lighter plug on the Lexus will not work without the key turned on.
