I've got a couple of these maintainers. They are a great way to keep batteries charged up for months at a time. I got one at Northern Tool (chinese knockoff brand) that seemed to work ok until it died. I like this one better since its got a bit more power than a battery tender jr and it seems to work just as well. I've got a couple now. This ones going on a emergency jump box I use when my truck won't start.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. Since I'm retired and don't drive as much, my car battery dying was a common occurence.
