I have several deer feeders I've been using for over 10 years and have tried many different battery chargers as I run the feeders year round. I find these Moultree chargers to be the best. Easy to mount on the leg of the feeder and they last for several years. Only complaint: the electric line is NOT shielded and squirrels eat through it after a few months or so. I always need to go back and encase the electric lines in a metal sheath that I get at Lowes or Home Depot. Also, the batteries usually die after a year or two before the solar charger fails. Also remember to clean the solar charger every few months to keep it operating at peak efficiency. Keeep the charger aimed at the best afternoon sun also. It should get at least 2-3 hours of sunlight a day. More is better, but I find it only needs 2-3 hours a day to keep the batteries fully charged. I also use a 7ah 6-volt battery instead of the standard 4.5ah 6-volt battery as it defiantely lasts longer.

I received one of the first units off the production line and I love this light. Out of the box the light was ready to go to work after having been in the box for who knows how long. I have had many camping lamps, kerosene, battery and other solar lamps but this one is really compact and powerful. Great light and a greater cause.
On the second click we had the reading light setting. I set the Waka up on a wine bottle (works great) and it produces great reading light perfect for preparing meals when camping or as an enhanced light on my husband's workbench where there are dark area. Everyone I have shared this light with loves the light and the compact design. I will be taking on a camping trip next week and will be using constantly. I will let you know how it performs in the wild.

I am so glad to get a product that has over delivered on the promise.First, I must say I had great doubt about this product since most of the reviews here are from people who received it for product review vs those who actually purchase it to use on a daily basis. I have quite a few solar gadgets all around my house. This is the best solar light currently in the market mainly due to its brightness and duration. I used to like the d.light S10 and S1 until the WakaWaka came out last year. The WakaWaka has 2 LED's instead of one like the S1 and S10. I have 4 WakaWaka lights on every night in those 3 rooms that I spend mostly in at light and I hardly even have to turn on any light. If you shine it on a white wall, the whole room just lights up. It is great bright ambient light.
According to their website, the internal battery should last about 3 years for daily use. Hope this helps.

My brother gave me this for Father's Day. I totally forgot to charge it and on the fifth night as we were leaving it still worked great. We've only had the charger a few days, but it does not get warm when it is plugged in. That was a relief to me because I had, at one time in the past, another brand's USB wall charger that would get extremely hot, which I'm assuming was not a safe thing to be happening.
The plug prongs fold down when unplugged, and that is nice if ever I need to travel with it, or lay it in a drawer.
UPDATE: 05/13/2012 -I've now had this product over a year. It is used several times a week and is working great, still.

This seemed like such a clever little doo-dad, and I was so happy to have it in my home here in Los Angeles. It must've liked being here too, because it decided to adopt the laid-back Southern California lifestyle and stop working entirely. Doesn't charge a thing, not through any cable nor plugged into any socket. Pity, too, as it's small and handy.

First I must say the quality is top notch. The installation is a breeze. The instructions are clear and complete. The panel is compact in size. Now for the best part... I just completed a 2 week vacation (June/July) across the western states and I was confident I would have power to spare when dry camping and this system did not let me down. On clear days the panel was providing a charge from about 7am to 6pm. The unit is rated to provide 5.45 amps but from 10am to 4pm I was easily getting 5.7 to 5.8 amps more than its rated current. Even better now... on completely overcast days it was still providing from 1 to 2 amps of current. You can't go wrong with this system. The charger looks great, is of high quality and provides all the information you'll need. The wire is of high quality as well. There are cheaper systems but they are not worth it. I purchased this product and had it shipped with the idea of installing it before an upcoming vacation. Unfortunately, I received the package and found that the accessory kit ( regulator, brackets, wire, instructions, etc. ) was missing from the box. All I got in the box was the solar panel. I sent an email to the manufacturer and was sent the missing parts in just a few days. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from the manufactured and their prompt shipment of my missing parts. Amazon wanted me to send the item back and they would ship me a new one. That didn't fit into my time frame of installing before my vacation.On the companies website there's a video for how to install a similar solar panel. I installed the Go Power 95 Solar Panel Kit based off this video. Installation was easy and mine installed much like the video. The only difference was having to buy screws for a rubber roof and Dicor sealant for the roof. I found the Dicor at a local Camping World. The kit comes with screws for a fiberglass roof but not for a rubber roof. After installation it was late in the day with heavy overcast, I was getting .6 amps. This was installed on a 26' travel trailer with dual batteries. I had no problems installing the solar panel and was able to connect the wires to my fuse box instead of running the wires all the way to the batteries. It would have been almost impossible to neatly run a wire from the panel to my batteries directly.
The next morning was sunny and I was pulling in 5.5 amps as advertised. I'm confident this solar panel will perform as expected for many years to come. My main reason for purchasing the panel is to keep the batteries charged as it sits in storage. Also to provide adequate battery charging when camping without power for a few days.
There are cheaper options on the market. I purchsed this one because I liked the clean look of the regulator and how it was made to go inside the RV. The small size of a 95 watt solar panel was also a plus. The regulator is easy to use and easy to read. I also appreciate that the cable included is UV protected and waterproof connections coming from it to the included cable.

I got my go power 95 with the solar kit and regulator/charger in less than 2 days from Amazon. Perfect condition. I followed the directions and it started working immediately, 4.7 amps in the 5pm sun. I will check back in in a month for update. So far its Great!!I found out that you need to watch where you park. We had to relocate the motorhome after parking where lots of birds rested in the tree. What a mess. The panel was easy to clean by following the instructions.

Keep in mind this unit is NOT a refrigerator or an oven as some reviewers have expected it to be. Pre chill or heat the items and this unit works marvelously all day long.
I also like the fact it only uses 2-3 amps since I plan and using it at times with a remote 12 amp hr. DC power source. This easily gives me a full 3 hours plus of heating or cooling without recharging. I also like that it's 8 1/2 inches tall on the inside for the taller bottles. This also works out great for the primary reason I bought this unit, to heat/cool 20 oz. CO2 tanks for my air rifles/pistols.
I haven't researched all the units or compared all the features but for $40 this Roadpro 7 liter cooler/warmer definitely is a good value regardless. I liked mine so much I purchased another one.

We are very pleased with both Roadpro and their cooler. However, our experience did not start out so well. We received the Roadpro 12V cooler for Christmas 2009, and were so busy we did not have a chance to try it out until after Amazon's 30-day return policy had expired. The first unit we received did not cool at all. We contacted Roadpro through their website, and were pleased with their reply and instructions on how to return the bad unit for a replacement. We did so, Roadpro followed through with a new unit, and it works great. We keep it powered through a "Koolatron Battery Saver" in the car, which prevents the car battery from running down overnight. We also keep a blue cool-pack in the cooler, too help keep it cool when the battery saver turns off the power.The unit holds a 6-pack of canned soda, or any equivalent amount of drinks or food. We recommend the Roadpro company, the Roadpro 12V Cooler, and the Koolatron Battery Saver.

Well, I ordered this for a long road trip we've just returned from and have to say I'm definitely disappointed. While it works, as in turns on and off, it doesn't actually "work," as in keeping beverages all that cool. Is it cooler than, say, the ambient temperature of your car? Definitely. Is it as cool as a cooler? Not even close.The unit's power connection also seems to loosen frequently with the jiggling motion inherent in a moving car, so that's another downer. Fortunately (????), it's quite loud (fan), so you can tell when it's jiggled itself loose, again, and fix it quickly. I will also note the cup holders on the top are NOT as pictured here, but are instead shallow slots on the top of the unit that are almost too small for a can of soda. At any rate, you wouldn't put a full can in as you have to wiggle the can to get it out and, therefore, spill it all over; which we did, several times. (Also, in case you're wondering, the cup holders are not cooling/heating.)
To sum up, if you put cold from the fridge cans in this unit, they'll say moderately cool as long as the unit is on, but not as cold as they were when you put them in. But this unit will NOT cool warm soda, even after it's been in there for hours, and the top layer of cans (they have to stack on top of each other to fit in 12) doesn't get any cooling at all, necessitating a constant shifting of drinks in order to use it. If you're trying to put in odd-size bottles or anything else ... Well, good luck with that.
We never tried the "keep warm" function but, all in all, I'm sorry I wasted my money and will stick with my $5 cooler and an ice pack from now on.

The two connectors required by your power supply plug into the Garmin stick out of the bottom in a very awkward way ( NOTE: the photo in you advertisement don't depict the two necessary connectors, the photo shows just a wire coming out of the Garmin). It would all work fine if it was just sitting on a table, but on a bike or in any portable use, it's a mess. It's just a matter of time before the multiple plugs get broken when hooked together into the GPS.
So, if you want to use this power supply on a bike, you will need to build a cable to attach it. A simple short cable, Garmin to Gomadic power supply is needed. I know, this was done for flexibility, but in the end it's not good for portable use.
I wouldn't recommend your device for cyclist use because of this connector design.

Nothing to special but they look awesome and perform pretty well, we are testing them right now in the city (not doing to well) but we will put them to the real test in the desert in a month. lots of option on these so it can get a little confusing but give it a little time and you'll remember all the menu options. Animal calls could be better and so could the water resistance capability but overall for 100 bucks you cant beat these. My phone is a 3G and it does not charge it 100%, but more like 50% which is enough for me. So far its holding the charge over several days so it's ready for emergency use.
Cons are that when you use the charger, it has 'bits' which you have to put aside and prone to losing. Like the 'cap' and a plastic bit from where the its own usb/micro-usb charging cable is hidden.
This is my first such battery, but I am very pleased.
Edit: Been like 3 months now and working perfectly. I also take back that bit about it charging just 50%. It charges 100% of my iphone 3G battery. Full charge within an hr.
Oh, and yes, I've lost the little bits, but who cares! Battery, cable that's all you need. Charges via USB btw, which can also be used on the wall socket adapter which came via your iphone.
Edit: Half a yaer later, bought another one. No more bits, just charger and cable. Yay. Old one still working great!I have used this for weeks now ans am very happy with the product.
It charges up quickly and keeps its charge for a long time.
It is so much smaller than other chargers that I don't know why all are not designed this way. I snap it into place and it extends less than an inch off the bottom, so I can still keep it in the pocket of my purse where I usually store it without it hanging out or being too bulky. My hubby has used it and keeps the charging phone in is pocket without any extra bulk.
It works with all generations of iPhones, so you won' t have to toss it if you are using an older iPhone but want to upgrade to the iPhone 4 later.
