Palm Z22 Battery Travel Charger Extender - SFPlanet

Palm Z22 Battery Travel Charger Extender - SFPlanetI used to recharge my palm in the middle of the cricket game using a laptop. Once I purchased this product, I have no problems of loosing the charge on my palm for a whole day. But, I had to purchase 8 rechargeable batteries (4 for the palm and 4 spare ones). Nevertheless, it is a great device to have.

Battery Tender 021-0123 Battery Tender Junior 12V Battery Charger

Battery Tender 021-0123 Battery Tender Junior 12V Battery Charger
  • Spark proof during lead connection, reverse polarity protected and includes a 12-foot output cord and 5-year warranty
  • Perfect for charging all 12-volt lead-acid, flooded or sealed maintenance free batteries (AGM and gel cell)
  • Complete 4-step charging program (Initialization, Bulk Charge, Float Mode) allows for optimization of battery power, without overcharging
  • Automatic charge cycle functionality switches to float mode after fully charging the battery
  • Solid state two color LED indicates stage of charger

In the analysis of buying a Tender Jr. vs. a Tender Plus, the main issues are time to full charge, battery size, & parasitic draw. The Tender Plus (1.25) will get the job done twice as fast as the Tender Jr. (0.75). Both now are similar architecturally, save it be the charging power & lack of temperature compensation on the Jr. They both are 4 stage, both have the same sophisticated computer chip technology running the charging process, etc... I spoke to The Deltran(The Manufacturer) customer service department on 3 different occasions, making sure I had the facts right. The first 2 times I was misinformed about the temperature compensation issue. I am editing this review to be accurate as of today's date of 12/01/10. Because The Plus will bring a battery to full charge twice as quickly as The Jr. will, The Plus has a much better chance at overcoming a parasitic draw on your batteries power. Modern cars have sophisticated electronics that require constant power 24/7. Check all your battery connections & your alternator belt!!! If the connections are not clean & tight, clean it with original coca-cola and a rag / brush, make sure they fit snugly. If your alternator belt is too loose it will not charge your battery properly. If you only want to buy one Tender, don't cheap out, buy The Plus if you have the money to do so. If you want to buy 2 or 3 Tenders to make sure all your batteries are fully charged, the Jr. will probably do just fine. I personally alternate The Jr. between 3 different cars, if I had it to do over again, I would buy The Plus instead as I am not a patient person. Both models will turn off in 72 hours automatically if a full charge is not reached, & neither will start charging without at least 3 volts stored in the battery before initiating a charge. If you left your lights on for 4 days like I did, get a jump, & drive your car around for 30 minutes before hooking up any Tender to charge your dead battery. Either of these 2 Battery Tenders are the best in the world, don't bother doing anymore research, I have done it all for you. Buy one or buy both!!! I bought The Plus model a few months ago also... These babies save you $$$, time & frustration!!! Get the 25 foot extension if you want to charge a car that sits in the driveway, it's only $12. You might also want to buy the Cigarette Lighter Apapter to charge cars that have the battery in the trunk, like the BMW E39 models.

Buy Battery Tender 021-0123 Battery Tender Junior 12V Battery Charger Now

I bought my first Battery Tender Jr. about 20 years ago (for an antique car that I drove infrequently) and it worked fine for over 15 years. I included it with that antique car when I sold it, and as far as I know, it still works.

Based on my prior experience, on November 4, 2010, I bought another Battery Tender Jr. from Amazon for another infrequently driven car. It is now less than 1 year later, and that Battery Tender Jr. got so hot that the plastic case buckled and separated at the seam. So, planning to return it under warranty, I read their terms. Not only do I have to pay to ship that defective unit back to Deltran (which I expected), they also charge a fee for "Warranty Evaluation, Shipping & Handling"! That is OUTRAGEOUS! Since I have my receipt, my fee would be only $7.95 (if no receipt, fee is $11.95). It would cost me $18.90 ($7.95 plus $10.95 USPS Flat Rate medium box) to return it (or $22.90 if I didn't have a receipt which is more than the $21.39 cost of a new one from Amazon delivered!) Why bother with a warranty claim? If that was Deltran's plan from the outset to discourage warranty claims their so-called "warranty" is a fraudulent misrepresentation.

No doubt that my first, 20-year old Battery Tender Jr. was made in the USA. Not so with the second one the label says "Made in China". A piece of Junk!

The battery Tender Jr. comes with 1 set of permanent mount ring terminals & 1 set of mini jumper cable clamps so you can hardwire 1 car & use the clamps whereever they are needed. The 1-way quick disconnect on the cord makes things very easy to hook up & unhook. And it is maintaining my battery fine, no more dead car.

Great Product. I needed a way to keep my minivan battery topped off during extended idle time because my electronic rust protection device was draining the battery. This product does the job beautifully! The only trouble that I ran into initially was that the charger would not start charging because my battery voltage had dropped below 3 volts (this is a safety feature built into the unit). Once I got the voltage up above 3 volts (by briefly attaching jumper cables to another vehicle), it charged just fine. It took a few hours initially, but now I keep the battery connected while the vehicle sits in the garage.

Power Bright PW2300-12 Power Inverter 2300 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt AC

Power Bright PW2300-12 Power Inverter 2300 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt ACSo I have had this inverter for a little over a week now, I have tested it for the last few days, this thing is the real deal at a nice price. I had mine running 2 LG 10,000 btu window air conditioners to see if it would work and it worked like a charm! At first i ran the ac units and the wire was getting a little hot at the connections so I used a heavier gauge wire and a better connector and it works great. This inverter was worth every penny in my opinion. I made a battery pack that it connects to power all my fun camping stuff for when I go camping. The product itself is made nicely even the remote looks sweet, they could have cut corners on a lot of things but instead they did not. I love power bright just for that! For those of you that are wondering the inverter itself starts beeping at around 10.5v and its not a loud annoying beep that you will find on other inverters, its gentle to my ears. Also the unit turns off completely @ 10.3v

If you get this unit be sure to read the manual, its pretty short and sweet and has some useful info in it as well. Use 2 gauge or 0 gauge for best results. Make sure you use this with a deep cycle battery for optimum power. I'm extremely picky when it comes to buying anything that is electronic and I can honestly tell you that I cant find anything to complain about at all.

UPDATE!!! Ive had this inverter for about a year and a half now. I use it for satellite power where I need it on job sites and use it 90% of the time. Ive run just about all the big tools you can imagine for a contractor. Big table saws, tile cutters, reciprocating saws, hammer drills, impact drills, shop vacs, my compressor which is a rigid contractor roofing compressor, hell even my 120v ac welder at max setting purrs like a kitten with this thing :) drill chargers, masonry stone cutters (those babies need some serious power cutting through rock!!! I must say this inverter still makes me smile every morning it starts up no problem even though I use it a lot. I cant tell you how many hours i have racked up on old blue. Its well over 1000 by now, That's right i named her ;) I must say i would trust this thing with my life. If you use it all the time like me blow out the fans every 6 months or so to keep them flowing properly. If you keep the fans working this baby will last forever.

After doing much research, my being a nuclear/mechanical engineer & all, I elected to purchase this inverter, so as to power various appliances in our new RV, including a microwave oven, TV, stereo, etc. But instead of just installing it, without knowing what it's real limitations might be, I elected to test it 1st, by hooking it up to numerous ever increasing loads. So initially I used some non-recommended but still very high quality 6 gauge cables that I had lying around, thinking that they should work, just for my brief test period. At this point the inverter failed miserably, by only putting out approx. 600 watts, vs. it's rated 2300 watts = much disappointment. But a call to Power Brights Technical Support Dept. (they are excellent & most helpful) quickly determined that my cables were most likely the problem, as this inverter reportedly looks back at the resistance of the cable, vs. the load which is ramping up, at which point the inverter shuts down rather prematurely, as it's designed to, for safety reasons. In any case, their recommended use of 2-gauge cable, which is clearly stated in the provided Owners manual (I used 2-gauge very flexible welding cables, 6' long) immediately solved my very low output problem, hence this inverter now puts out > 4000 watts surge, with around 3000 watts continuous. So in lieu of it initially just being able to run a 500 watt floodlight, it can now start & run my basements 1/3rd hp sump pump, in conjunction with a 1400 watt microwave, in addition to the 500 watt floodlight, in addition to my 500 watt 3/8 drill, "all starting simultaneously", without a single hesitation, nor peep of any kind. In the meantime, the cables themselves remain at room temperature, with just a slight increase in temperature in the inverters metal case, with not a single cooling fan coming on, even with these rather heavy loads, hence there is no noise what so ever. In summary, this device easily exceeded all of my expectations (powerful & quiet), as I have yet to even find its true load limit. In reality, I'll only be using approx. 1/2 of this inverters output, with plenty of margin, should I need to run a power tool or something, while the microwave is on, and the stereo blaring, etc. And if I had to do all over again, I would purchase the 0-gauge, already made up 6' long power cables from Amazon for ~ $50., along with a $10. Bussmann fuse holder from NAPA (which I did, as it's identical to the 2 fuses holders that already came with our RV from the factory), along with a 225 amp Bussmann fuse for $5. (it's a near perfect match for this inverter), also from NAPA (ie. Amazon offers neither of these products for some reason). So nice job all around by Power Bright = Easy 5 Star Rating.

This inverter is great. It's the perfect alternative to a gas generator. I use it for back up power at home. My wood stove heats the house and this inverter powers my whole den. Cable TV, computer, lights, microwave, etc. I run a string of christmas lights up the stairs to the kithen and bedrooms. My power source is a Diehard PM-1 deepcycle marine platinum battery. It's on trickle charge all the time. A user note is to keep the cord to the TV as short as possible to minimize RF interference. you can also coil up the AC cord to work as an inductive RF choke.

Bought the Power Bright PW2300 as back up power to operate my sump pump and freezer in case of power outages due to hurricane Irene. In a dry run (as it were), I hooked up to my car battery using the recommended 4 gauge connectors and it powered up the sump pump motor ok. But it just could not get the freezer motor to turn on. I knew that pumps can require higher initial starting power than their running power need but felt that I had bought a unit with sufficient power head room. Based on another reviewer's comments, I returned it and bought the Whistler pro 2500 watt inverter for a few dollars less. The Whistler had not come up in my original search so I did not know about it until I noticed the review later. Hooked it up and the freezer started right up no problem. Maybe the difference between "2300" and "2500" was the extra umph that I needed. If you are trying to power household devices then I recommend going with the 2500 as a minimum. As a bonus, the wattage out indicator in the Whistler worked much better than the Power Bright's which often did not indicate watts if they were too low.

First one arrived late March 2010. Watt meter did not read anything and the remote was broke. The box had no visual damage to it so I figure it was in the packing at the company. Paid for the shipping back to company. Second one arrived late April 2010 and everything has been good up to Nov 30, 2010, just over 7 months and now one of the outlets are bad. You can hear the crackling when something is plugged into it. Called the company and YES, I have to pay for the shipping AGAIN back to them from Maine to Florida to be repaired. The company told me I should have a spare anyways just in case something like this happens. Great $200 to $250.00 sitting on the shelf, yea right. It will not happen again with this company. I will sell this unit when it arrives back to me fixed and I will order from a different company this week. This inverter will end up costing me over $50.00 more now because of the extra shipping and finding another way to run my freezer and lights. Screw them!

Mine arrived yesterday inside a box that was inside a box that was inside another box. Although the boxes were undamaged during shipping, the cabinet of the charger was dented on four sides. Why? A transformer capable of delivering 50 amps of current continually is a very heavy component of a good battery charger. It is much too heavy for the cheap, flimsy cabinet that Schumacher calls "Heavy Duty". It's a little like having an anvil bouncing around inside a tin barrel. The thing is just too heavy for its container.

Because the Amazon website says that it is "non-returnable" I took it apart and pushed most of the dents out of it. Only one dent required a hammer and a block of wood to fix, the rest I could push out with my fingers! Yes, that's how cheap the cabinet is on a Professional Series Battery Charger from Schumacher! I pushed out the dents with my fingers! No amount of packaging could ever protect the eggshell that was built around this thing.

While I had it apart to fix the dents, I checked the connections (good) and the mountings of all the components. The mounting base of the transformer was bent (due to its weight) but the rivets holding it down were still tight.

Electrically it is a well-designed piece of equipment. Structurally, it is crap.

Schumacher! Wake up! We'd gladly pay twenty bucks extra for some heavier gauge sheet metal! You put quality into the rest of this "Professional" charger -why not the cabinet? I own four of your (smaller) chargers in all. They are all decent and reliable chargers. I was expecting more from your "Professional Series" Chargers than what I got. I really feel like you guys let us all down on this one.

Black & Decker FL3WBD 3W Waterproof Spot Light

Black & Decker FL3WBD 3W Waterproof Spot Light
  • Rechargeable waterproof spotlight, Submersible up to 6 feet
  • Floats in the water pointing upward
  • Up to 10 hour runtime
  • Up to 192 lumens
  • 50 percent smaller than typical spotlight

The battery on this spot light lasts a long time. I recently had it on High for 140 minutes just to test how long long it would last. That is not bad at all for a rechargable spotlight.

This spotlight is a point object spotlight. Meaning it has a very narrow focused beam that travels a long distance. It is not good for illuminating a large area like a wide beam flashlight will do.

Flashlight tech has come a long way. This rechargeable pistol-grip 3 watt LED flashlight is amazing. I use it for boating and keep it at the bedside for protection--it is a blinding source of light.

I purchased it for $21 on sale and almost a year later, that feels like a bargain. Good job, Black and Decker.

I am a retired police officer . . we LOVE light sources and are constantly assessing them. We prefer an intense light that has great distance as opposed to one that throws out a weak, lateral flood light (just move the spot around, and besides, you'll have about a 30 foot diameter of lateral light in front of you) . . plus that intense spot. This is the most effective, powerful and intense hand held, portable light source I have EVER held and used. . . it is comparable to the spot lights mounted on our police vehicles . . I have NEVER been so impressed with any hand held light. The ONLY drawback is the "on/off" design, in that you need to use both hands to turn it off and on . . but considering the highly unusual capability of the light . . the switch's inconvenience is a small price to pay. I just purchased a second B&D light (same model) to keep in my truck (it has a vehicle power source adapter cord available . . call the 800 B&D number in the directions). It only charges when the ignition is "on", however, considering the time the light holds a charge, with normal use of your vehicle, it will stay charged. It's so small, it easily slips into the console. I have never had a flashlight in my vehicle in which I had so much confidence. It's an intricate part of my vehicle's standard emergency equipment . . fire extinguisher, traffic vest, glass punch, first aid kit, etc.

This light is an IDEAL gift . . they may not appreciate it at first . . but wait until they take it out and light up a tree 100 yards away . . you'll hear from them the next day. As we know, it's water proof . . and I can now attest, it's shock proof too. I inadvertently dropped it 15 feet to the unforgiving cement below . . no damage! I have had and used extensively, Stream Lights, Kel Lights, Mag Lights, Sure Fire lights and many others. NOTHING compares . . I'll never purchase another model light source. If you don't like it . . send it back (it will NEVER happen)! Everyone stay safe, Jim

Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included)

Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2' Impact Wrench
  • Wrench has 1/2" Anvil with pin retention for easy socket connection
  • The Powerful 18-Volt motor allows 0-3000 RPM to tighten or loosen
  • 200 ft. lbs. [2400 in lbs]
  • Bright LED Light

First, if you already own a bunch of Ryobi tools and a few of the 18v Lithium batteries then this will be a good addition to your tools collection. It is loud but works really well for a cordless 1/2" impact wrench. However, do not expect it to perform like an air impact wrench.

This is an inexpensive electric cordless impact wrench and not really meant for the tough jobs. If you expect to regularly and quickly remove lug nuts and rusted bolts, this is not the impact wrench to use. For those jobs, I have an Ingersol Rand 600 ft.lbs. air impact wrench.

If you are working on ATVs, Snowmobiles, Lawn and Garden equipment then this is a great tool to have around. It works well and quickly for those applications.

But if you are considering buying this on its own, it will cost you at least another $100 for a charger and batteries. And I don't think it is a good value then. Or if you are thinking of buying this to replace an air impact wrench then you will probably be disappointed.

I'm already locked into one+ hardware with two drills and on my third set of two NiMH batteries. Drills have held up for 5+ years and the batteries have died predictably and consistently. I had my choice between the 1/4 in hex drive only model, or this 1/2" Impact wrench model.

My first test was to remove and retorque bolts holding bike axles on children's bikes. I used my standard one+ batteries and found I could kill a partially charged battery within four bolt-removal and torque attempts. A full charge on a standard one+ NiMH probably yields 8-10 applications of 100+ft/lb bolts.

I will definitely need LiIon batteries and charger to get more work out of a charge cycle however the investment in batteries and charger take the expense of ownership into dewalt and makita territory where I'm probably headed.

It is noisy however I'm happy to not be dragging a noisy compressor and 50 feet of hose along.

The pricing of this driver unit as a bare tool placed it in with 1/4 Hex drive units however the torque reserve is far greater than any of those units.

Unexpected benefits:

Where I would have used a stepped bit on my 18V drill before and struggled with binding, this thing will tear through any drilling task I've tried with a stepped bit. Using a little finessing with the speed I can apply lower torque and the driver works effortlessly. From that standpoint driving a 3.5 in deck screw into harder wood is like driving a screw into balsawood.

The NiMH batteries may bring more endurance to the tool however I've only used it for a series of small jobs.

If you're buying a set of tools, not tied to the one+ you have a lot of good choices. If you're stuck/committed to one+ tools and already use Li-Ion batteries it's a decent tool and will do what you need as long as you're not pushing it to 200ft/lb constantly. If you are you will be happier with Dewalt/Makita higher tier brands, air tools or electric(AC) powered tools.

First thing I did to test this gun was remove lugs on my 4x4 truck . worked like a champ with a 3/4 charged old style nicad battery that is two years old. I put those lugs on myself with an air impact months ago.

second thing was four inch screws, no problems there. its loud but thats to be expected from an IMPACT wrench. very happy with this purchase.

I will mostly use this for construction work but its nice to know I can fix my vehicles with it too!

The chuck adapter is fantastic and if you pull the tip and insert the bits properly they cannot fall out. If this is unclear to anyone its all in the directions.

Out of all the Ryobi tools I have, this one is the most sensitive about battery power. Feed this a fresh 3 amp hour NiMh (sold here at Amazon) or 3 ah lithium ion battery, it will handle just about any nut or bolt you point it at. Yet this tool struggles with tight nuts if battery is a little low on charge, or the battery is not 3 amp hour.

I did an engine, transmission, and harness swap between two cars. Project would not have been possible without this tool. I had to use a breaker bar with some head bolts. This tool can handle any head bolt after you crack it with a breaker bar.

Feed it a good battery, you will be pleased. I have owned this tool 9 months. Not as strong as a name brand pneumatic wrench, but good deal for the price. Certainly more powerful than other electric impact wrenches I have tried.

When purchasing or doing comparison shopping, make sure you are looking at the P260 model which has 200ft/lbs of torque which is a significant amount of torque for any cordless drill.

I give this 3 stars for two main reasons:

1. This drill is extremely loud, not a deep rumble of a V8 type of loud, but a high pitched crackling, blood curdling shrill that you think the drill is about to explode in your hands type of loud. I bought this drill for autocrosses/drag racing when I change my wheels at the track and want to be lazy and not have to use a breaker bar to loosen lugs before jacking up the car. This drill is so loud when breaking lugs that strangers will come over and ask if everything is okay and your ears will slightly ring. I have used impact air tools in my garage all day long with no issues, but this electric-motor monster has the most unpleasant shrill. I don't have a decibel meter, but this is probably 10x louder than any cordless impact I've ever used.

2. You need to realize what you're getting into when you get this drill. These Ryobi drills do not come with batteries and furthermore do not come with a way to charge the batteries. You can visit your local Home Depot and it is the same story. A drill is no good without a battery and a battery is no good without a charge. So now you have to pay $35-$45 for a charger and $89-$100 for a battery! Keep that in mind before jumping into this. If you already have some existing Ryobi tools that use the One+ lithium ion battery system, then the cost isn't so bad, but it kinda locks you into using Ryobi. If this will be you first and only Ryobi, then you're paying a lot for a cordless impact wrench and might want to consider a DeWalt.

As far as longevity, that is unknown for now, I just know it makes quite the racket in doing so. I've used other cordless impact wrenches and they have a "wind-up" type of impact, this Ryobi just makes significant noise from the get go, I almost prefer the quieter, yet slower to do the same job, "wind-up" type of cordless impact wrenches.

The lug nuts on my race car are always torqued to 100 ft/lbs as specified, it may take 4-5 seconds of "impacting" to loosen 1 lug, even though the Ryobi P260 is rated at 200 ft/lbs now it has always done the job, but multiply that by 5 lugs x 4 wheels and that's a lot of noise. I know I keep hounding on the noise, but once you use it, you'll know what I mean.

This wall charge is something I got as an auxiliary aide when I bought my GPS so that if needed, I could charge my Garmin GPS from an ordinary 110V AC wall socket if I had to do some extensive programming in the house, or if the GPS hadn't been used for a while and it needed to be charged to be ready for a trip.

It turns out that I have never had to use it! The battery in the Garmin GPS holds a charge sufficiently well that a wall charger wasn't necessary. But the dealer sold it at a good price, delivered it quickly and it was nicely packaged. So, kudos for the dealer for being an honorable merchant!

The unit arrived in a very reasonable period of time.

Short instruction manual contained inadequate how-to information (green attempt by Garvin, they say). Other than that, with the information available on line, the unit does what it claimed.

I have had the nuvi 780 for about a month and yesterday, received a lowbattery notification on-screen, which replaced the map while I was using it for directions to a distant location.

The low-battery notification occurred while the unit was plugged into a working DC cigarette lighter outlet in the car and required the nuvi to be turned off since the notification replaced the on-screen map.

The on-screen information is excellent easy to read and interpret.

The mounting hardware supplied with the unit is excellent in all respects.

The nuvi speaker audio is rather poor quality but the use of a cassette adapter with the car stereo is very good. (I have not tried to use the NUVIs FM output to the car radio but reviews say it is too lacking in power to be useful and my antenna is rear mounted.)

The NUVIs routing voice notifications are bit difficult to understand but they are much better than nothing; it requires getting used to.

Check to see if MS Direct information (trial version comes with the nuvi) is available in your area if you want this service. (It isn't in my area but seems to be available in most or all larger metropolitan areas.)

I like this device:

Nice:

Cheap FM Transmitter

Phone Charger

Phone Holder

Can be used with other devices

Tested on iPhone 4 like a charm

and best of all, all at the same time yes, you can charge and listen to music at the same time!

Cons:

-The stick to hold it is short, on my 95 camry, it had hard time using it and its pushing against my dashboard

shakes a lot while driving

seems to inter fer with Google maps GPS the maps work, but the orientations easily gets out of sync, and keeps saying move the device in the figure (8) motion

i used it with MapQuest MapQuest did not seem to interfere so not sure if its Google Maps, or the iPhone

FM Transmitter is weak it works, but not loud, and does not have much power. While driving during the city, about 90% of the time its clear, and maybe 10% or so not clear (has static) so its not bad, unless you like your music flawless

I dont think the holder will last it looks cheap but so far its holding, lets see for how long

I think this is an iPhone issue, but I cannot hear the calls on the speaker so its problematic if you need to remove it from the holder each time

With a case on the iPhone4, its fit is tight in the holder

Trick to use it to charge and listen at the same time:

Do not use the extra cable from the iPhone to the device, only use the charge cable!

place the music on speaker mode, the connect the charge cable and you are done it charges AND music works from the same cable!

If you keep the extra cable on the top, the you wont hear a thing!

Why 4 star:

static FM, not very loud voice

cannot hear the calls on FM while driving (maybe an iPhone issue, not the device issue)

cheap holder and stick very short

Buy FM Transmitter Car Charger and Mount Compatible with Apple iPod / iPhone Now

I bought this to replace my Griffin iTrip after it shorted out. I was worried about buying a different brand (or a non-brand, as a case seems to be), since the Griffin is able to be set to international frequencies (and I was never able to receive a clear signal without setting it below 88.1).

So far, however, the signal has been A LOT clearer at 88.1 than it ever was on my old transmitter. I live in Phoenix and I've had no trouble with signal interruptions so far; I even get a clear sound in parking garages and around strongly broadcast signals, like in shopping center parking lots. The sound quality is also pretty decent for an FM transmitter, especially one that cost less than $20 to buy and ship. I also love the cradle and the flexible neck that allows me to dock my iPod within easy reach.

The remote seems to be a bust, but I don't really care as I can't see a reason to use a remote when my iPod is docked right in front of me. Your mileage may vary, I suppose. And for all I know this might short out in a few months just like my Griffin did, but I'm holding out hope!

Over the years I've been through about 15 FM transmitters. This one is by far the best quality I've had. You may hear a little high pitched noise at high volumes, but that is a small price to pay for the amazing amount of clarity provided. The remote control is pretty flimsy and has to be held almost directly next to it to work but that's not the reason I purchased it so I was hardly disappointed. I really don't think you'll find a better product on the market.

I received the product today and I am quite happy with it. There are a few odd quirks with this product but overall I am happy with it out the gate.

First things first it comes with NO DIRECTIONS. There are a few bullet points on the packaging but thats it. Hopefully this review will give you all you need to know based on what I have discovered fiddling with it.

The device cradles your ipod or mp3 device between padded jaws. They are a little tight coming out the case and i thought I broke them forcing them apart so that my ipod would fit. After a bit I discovered that there is a pushbutton on the lower left of the unit that springs the jaws open to full width. This allows the unit to hold many different ipod and mp3/smartphone models without falling out. There are also 2 tabs on the bottom to prevent you ipod from sliding out if the jaws are loose. One big negative -one of the tabs blocks the headphone jack on the ipod touch. So if you want to put a cable in the headphone jack you have to set it up so your ipod doesn't rest against the bottom tabs.( see enclosed pic)

The device has an LCD display for the transmitter on the top of the unit with 2 up/down frequency buttons and a QS button. For the life of me, I have no idea what QS means. It seems to work like the preset button on the included remote ( more on that later)

The gooseneck on this seems very sturdy and stayed where I put it. I do wish it was a bit longer though so that it would be higher that my shifter. The lighter adapter has a blue power indicator led that is kinda bright. You may want to put a piece of tape over it if you are driving at night.

This things also has a built in usb port for charging devices. I haven' t used it so I cannot comment on the quality of it as a charging station.

Some of the pics show the unit with a 1/8 inch cable that goes from the headphones to the transmitter. This is NOT REQUIRED if you are using an ipod. Just use the ipod connecter and you are good to go. his may be required for phone usage with an iphone but I cannot confirm that. The cable is required if you have another mp3 player like a Sansa fuze.

The sound quality is pretty good. I have had a few FM transmitters for various mp3 devices and this one has the best quality yet so its a winner in that department. Another added plus is that you can use any frequency between 87.1 and 107.9 Mhz. I have had units in the past that only had preset frequencies that would just not work if there were radio stations close by on the same frequency.

The biggest negative about the unit is that the lcd screen with the frequency info is on the top of the unit. If you set it up so that you can see the ipod's screen you wont see the lcd info because it is facing away from you. This is only an issue if you have to change the station while driving otherwise its not that big an issue

This unit comes with a cheap, cheesy looking plastic remote that has some plusses and minuses.

I read a few reviews about the remote that states that you have to be right next to the unit for it to pick up the signal. At first it seemed that I was experiencing the same issue. The remote only seemed to work when I was right next to the unit."Meh", I thought -its only 11 bucks. But as I was fiddling with the unit position I noticed that after a while I could control the unit via remote from a good arm span away. This seemed odd - sometime it would work from far away other times it wouldn't work when it was right next to it. Then I found the culprit. Upon inspection it appears that the remote is an IR emitting remote. IR emitting remotes are directional an require the unit in question to have an IR receiver to capture the signal. From what I can tell the IR receiver is located somewhere in the top left area of the unit. Basically if you can read the radio station lcd your remote should work like a charm.Trouble is, the way this is designed you want to have it so that your ipod is facing you -which means the lcd is facing up which means that the remote ain't gonna be useful. I think this is a shame because, with an ipod touch, it would be much easier to do basic things like pause a track or play the next track without looking at the unit because of the tactile feedback. Since everything on the touch is accessed via the touchscreen you kinda have to look at it instead of the road to do these things.

The remote is an odd little thing. It looks like an old school ipod nano complete with a sticker where the ipod nano screen would be (newsflash the sticker does nothing). The remote allows you to rewind, fast forward, play, pause and increase and decrease volume( these are the "clickwheel" functions). In addition it has a frequency up and down button and a preset button. the preset button does not operate the way I would imagine. when I press it it goes from 88.1 to 88.9 and then 107.1 to 107.9 in .2 increments. If you wanted to use something in-between you are gonna have to use the frequency buttons. I haven't yet figured out how to set a preset (if that is even possible).

Finally I noted that one poster stated that when he tried to use the remote his volume control did not work. I am not positive on this, but I think that is by design. When I pugged my ipod into the unit and ran tune it stated on the display that it was in docked mode and not only could I not change the volume via my remotebut I couldn't adjust the volume on my ipod either. I believe that this is feature apple put in so that when the unit is docked the volume is controlled by the docking device. there is a simple workaround for this though. If you use the supplied 1/8 inch cable to go from your headphone out to the input on the top it treats that ipod ilke it is no longer in docked mode and you can freely change the volume on your ipod or via the remote.

Oh well.

PROS:

Good Transmitter

Tunable to any frequency

Solid Gooseneck

DIRT CHEAP

CONS:

Cant view display in normal position

Remote unusable when unit in normal position

Cannot set presets

A great product. My other adapter was stolen and I didn't want to miss my favorite tunes so I purchased this to replace it. Wow! This is much better anyway. Easy to use, even includes a remote if that is important to you. Stays on station, doesn't drift like my previous one. i love it!

GTMax Black 3.5mm FM Transmitter Car Charger for HTC EVO Shift 6100 4G, ThunderBolt, Wildfire (CDMA)

GTMax Black 3.5mm FM Transmitter Car Charger for HTC EVO Shift 6100 4G, ThunderBolt, Wildfire, HD7, Surround T8788, myTouch 4G, G2, Desire, Aria, MyTouch 3G Slide, Evo 4G, Droid Incredible, HD2, Droid Eris, Hero, Imagio, Touch Pro2UPDATE (10/9/12):

It appears they combined listings with this item and an identical transmitter that I had bought after returning this one, so I am updating my review for both of them here.

As of a few months ago, the 1/8" wired connection between the transmitter and headphone plug for the phone started to short out. If you bumped it, it would cause static and the stereo would go out (only one or the other channel would play). Sometimes nothing would come out at all. Clearly an issue with the soldering inside the unit.

So, in the end, as seen below, both the mic portion of the unit failed completely, and then the audio wire connection began failing to the point of it becoming unusable.

This is a great idea for a product, but it's clearly not made very well. I eventually realized that my JVC deck had an external input and got the cable for that 3.5MM AUDIO AUX INPUT iPOD MP3 U57 U29 PD100 for JVC KS-U58, which connects to the headphone out of my phone. It will let the mic in the phone operate during a phone call, and broadcasts the audio over the car speakers, which works fine (no feedback).

Bottom line, I would not buy this product unless you want the possibility of having to replace it every 4-5 months.

---

UPDATE (2/23/12):

I ended up returning this a few months ago, as the mic eventually quit working completely. I tested it by calling my home cordless phone from inside the car, and absolutely no sound was transmitted from the mic during the call.

This would not be a problem if the unit did not have a built-in mic and let you use the mic on the phone. However, because it has a mic-ouput on the cable, the phone is forced to use the device's built-in mic, and so if you want a good quality output for whoever you're calling, you'll have to switch to speaker-phone on your phone (defeating the purpose of the device).

I bought another one of this item from a different listing here on Amazon, and it has been working fine. The mic quality isn't great, but is still better than this one ever was. It must be a matter of QC not being regulated very well by whoever makes this device.

---

This is a great idea for a device for times when driving in cars without high-end stereos, where you want to access phone audio. I am using it with an HTC Thunderbolt phone through a mid-level JVC HD radio/CD deck.

It does what it says, so I'll only list the downsides:

1) The built-in mic does not work well. People on the other end tell me they cannot hear me very well. Don't expect this to be like a bluetooth speakerphone or headset. It will sometimes cause a flapping sound like wind in the background, and makes you sound tinny. You have to speak pretty loudly to be adequately heard on the other end. It is nice to be able to hear the other end through the car stereo, but your end (the mic) is not very kind to them.

2) The way the lighter plug sits is not very secure, so the weight of the phone can sometimes pull it to one side. It's pretty easy to reorient the device, so it's not a big deal, but it could have likely been made to seat more securely.

3) The FM transmitter sometimes introduces noise. This may be related to the power source, and could vary from car to car. It also does not seem to boost the line voltage of the 1/8" out from your phone, so you will likely have to turn up your stereo's volume more when using this compared to using the stereo's regular inputs like the radio, CD, etc. For example, using CDs, usually 18-20 is the loudest that I'll play something, and about the same for the radio. To get equal volume from this device, I have to turn up to around 25-30 (even with the phone's media output volume set as high as possible). This also makes for a pain when you turn off the device while the radio is still on (forgetting to turn it down first), so that you'll suddenly get very loud static from the FM station that is no longer broadcasting the device's audio feed.

Overall, this is a good device, especially for the price. It still transmits a good portion of the audio spectrum, so you don't lose bass from your music, etc. The built-in charger is nice too. However, the lack of a good mic really takes away from its overall impression and usability.

I bought this holder for my HTC EVO because I have an Otter box on it. I have bought the Sprint holder and two other holders and they all sucked. None of them would not hold my phone and Otter box. So if anyone out there has the HTC and an Otter box on it this is the holder for you.

I would recommend this product for anybody interested in a product for HTC EVO 3D. The product works great but my only complaint is my phone doesn't stay in the dock station. When you turn corners the dock station rotates and phone will fall out. Also with most older vehicles the cigarette lighter is on the left side and my cause difficulty when driving. Overall this is a good product and works well with newer vehicles.

i recieved my product well before the date that i expected which was great! however, i was somewhat disappointed in the fact that in the picture, the device is shown with an iphone in it, but when i got it, there were no cords to hook up an iphone. i had to use the one that came with my phone. i was fine with this but if you are planning on buying this product, just know that you will have to have an extra iphone cord lying around that you can use. when i did get it all hooked up, i was very pleased with the way it sounded and how it fit and looked in my car!!

I bought this for use with my HTC Evo in a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser, which is probably not the ideal combination for this device. The size of the phone I use with it as well as the location of the power outlet in the car cause some issues with the shifter, but that is not the fault of the device. The Evo is probably the largest device that the clamping mechanism will hold, and I actually remove the phone from its case when I place it in the clamp. Probably not an issue on smaller devices, but it is one I can live with. The transmitter on the device works well, transmitting the signal from my phone into the car stereo via FM radio. The sound quality is in line with other FM transmitters I have used in the past, with a slight "hiss" audible most of the time. It isn't a deal breaker, and is probably just the nature of these types of devices. It works well enough. I have a similar device for my Zune mp3 player which cost much more and this device works as well as that one.

The neck on the device is adequate enough to hold the phone vertically when driving. I was concerned that the thing would fall over while driving around a corner, but it seems to fit snugly in the power outlet of the car. Unfortunately, the clamp mechanism will only hold the phone in the portrait view, and cannot be rotated to landscape view. This makes using the navigation function on my phone a little clumsy. I found that trying to manipulate the device so that the phone is close to the landscape view causes the weight of the thing to be too far off center and it will just fall over. This would be a five-star device if it had the ability to be placed in landscape view.

Overall, I am satisfied with the way this device performs. It's not perfect, but it does a good job transmitting the signal from the phone, either music or phone calls.

I have been frustrated by the fact that it is difficult to find which plugs/cords work with which apple products.

Fortunately this one works and it has an indicator light to let you know it is on and I like that it has a power saver mode when it is fully charged.

I don't know what other products this works with but I do know it works with my ipod touch 4th generation.

I bought two of these chargers for my ipod touch and ipad. One worked just fine and the other didn't work at all.

XtremeMac IPU-IH2-11 InCharge Home for iPhone/iPod/iPad

XtremeMac IPU-IH2-11 InCharge Home for iPhone/iPod/iPad
  • This compact wall charger includes dual USB ports each with 2.1 amps for fast charging and a 30 pin to USB cable.
  • It also features a low profile design that allows access to a second outlet for convenience.

After trying endlessly to find an official iPad charger amongst all the Chinese knock offs on Amazon, I decided to see what the other manufacturers had to offer. Turns out, this is way better than the Apple one for me. Dual 2.1 amp chargers allows me to charge my iPad and my Droid or a second iPad at the same time without any issue. It's also very thin so there's not much of a gap behind my dresser where the power plug is. I love the fact that it comes with a usb cable, so I didn't need to buy one of those too. Couldn't be happier with this thing. The item listing says Memorex but the brand on the package is Xtrememac.

The product worked just as advertised, but only for 18 months.

Unfortunately the warranty is only 1 year, so ExtremeMac wouldn't

replace my charger that quit working. The unit itself and the cable

worked well, functioned with my iPad and iPods well. The fit of the jack

into the devices was equal to Apple factory cables. There were absolutely

no issues with charging until the unit quit producing any voltage at all one day.

I would have liked a longer warranty, but I can't complain about the product.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago, specifically to be able to charge my IPhone 4S and IPad 2 with one charger at the same time. It was the only such device I could find. The iPads unique voltage requirement makes many other USB chargers useless. So two days ago, I received my new IPad and wondered if it would work as well. I plugged it in and saw the dreaded " not charging" message. As it was the weekend, I decided to just leave it on over night to see if it would charge anyway. The next morning, the IPad was fully charged. That has worked two nights in a row. Not sure why, but it " just works". Yea!

Garmin Nuvi Hardwire Cable (Mini-USB connector) for Garmin Nuvi

Garmin Nuvi Hardwire Cable for Garmin Nuvi
  • This unique hardwire power cable allows you to hardwire your Nuvi GPS receivers

I installed this unit inside the headlight housing of my Yamaha V Star 950. After carefully studying the motorcycle wiring diagram, I learned there is a pre-wired connector for an optional light bar accessory. Since I wasn't using the accessory light circuit I determined it to the perfect location to tap into the motorcycle's electrical system. And the light circuit has power only when the engine is running so tapping in there will prevent the GPS from drawing power from the motorcycle battery when not in use.

There was just enough room inside my headlight housing to insert the 12V power transformer with the USB connector threaded out the back of the headlight housing. Next I plugged the USB connector into my GPS device mounted on the handlebar and cranked the engine. Viola!

I have no clue what would cause some GPS devices to switch into data mode. But my Nuvi 255 correctly switches from battery to direct current mode when the engine is running and switches back to battery power when the motorcycle engine is turned off.

Used this to power my Garmin Nuvi 760 & 765. Anyone with decent techincal skills will be able to intall this perfect. Connect the red wire to 12v switched power. And Black wire to ground. Make certain 12v source is switched power to prevent a battery draw. Which will kill the battery if the Nuvi is attached while the car is parked.

I ran the wire to the glove box to keep the garmin chagred and ready to go when i need to use it.

My GPS intermittently switched from charge to battery mode in use on the motorcycle--in other words, the power supply was intermittent. Then after proper installation and very little riding for three months it DIED. Checked the mini-USB connector: the metal shell was not connected to ground and two of the connector pins were shorted together. Also discovered the power cable is not shielded and has very light-gauge wires in it compared with the wiring out of the cigarette lighter charger that Garmin supplies. Cannot recommend this unit. Buy something better. Installation on a motorcycle ain't so easy. You don't want to have to do it twice.

UPDATE: Disassembled the Garmin cigarette lighter power supply, put it in a plastic box and wired it into the motorcycle. Now have steady power.

I have had this installed for about 6 weeks. It worked fine initially.

The installation had two issues that several others complained about. The thickness of the power and ground wires made it almost impossible to wire it into my 96 Accord using splices. The size of the box made it difficult to zip tie it to prevent it rattling or moving around.

3 days ago, my Nuvi 1350 started going into data mode before rebooting into map mode. This behavior was followed random reboots while on the road.

If you are going to purchase this item, make sure it is easy to access when it fails.

Bought this last winter and just got around to installing it. I was leery after reading the reviews, so I opened it up. One small phillips screw and the case pops open.

Inside I found a small circuit board, inexpensively made with through-hole components. I could see several capacitors and inductors that looked vulnerable to vibration. So I warmed up my hot-melt glue gun and potted all the components on the circuit board into place. Took about 5 minutes including re-assembly. Epoxy would have worked as well.

Installed it on my 74 Suzuki GT550 and so far, it works like a charm. Wouldn't fit inside the headlight shell but I was able to tuck it in behind the headlight bucket mounting ears and secure it using a couple of wire ties.

I found a plastic cap to protect the USB connector from the elements, and I strap the connector to the Nuvi mount when not in use.

Time and miles will tell how it holds up. The bike is an old two-stroke, without the benefit of modern suspension, so vibration will be a factor.

After 14 years, the backup battery for my security system failed causing loss of the pin code during a transient power failure. The replacement was an exact match to the original and worked as expected. Fast delivery and good price. Much less costly than having the alarm company do it!.

Purchased two of these for a Battery Backup after its original batteries lasted approximately 3 1/2 years and finally gave up. Worked great for a little over 2 years then just died. These are definitely a lower quality battery than the OEM CGB batteries supplied with the battery backup.

The price was right but sadly the performance is lacking.

  • The power button allows for zero energy consumption when the unit is not in use.
  • The WattStation delivers peace of mind, with ground fault protection and clearly labeled LED charging and fault status indicators. An LED ring surrounds the plug inlet and will illuminate white when the charging station is powered on or in standby mode.
  • Plug the EV in and let it charge! A green backlit charging icon will illuminate to signal that the EV is in the process of charging. When charging is complete, simply wrap the 16 foot cord around the WattStation, keeping it organized and out of the way.

I purchased this charger at a retail store long before Amazon carried it. The internals are made with overbuilt componants and are top quality. This same charger would have cost you $3000.00 a year ago, amazing how fast progress is being made. I recommend installing the charger on a dedicated 40amp circuit breaker. The J1772 connector is solid and does'nt feel cheap at all. The electrical wiring they use for the J1772 cord is VERY flexible and long. I cant stop looking at the lights on the charger at night. Internally I can see ports for a LED light bar, RFID port, VFD display, 2 serial COM ports, and, an ethernet port. Because this is a shared circuit board with other model GE chargers I am not sure if they can be made active.

This charger can deliver a full 40 amps of power to the J1772 plug if the vehicle requests it. Twice what similiar units offer at the same price point. For the money no other charger (EVSE) offers more bang for the buck then the GE wattstation. It's also alot more attractive then a dull grey box hanging on the wall. This unit is one of the few that are UL listed for indoor AND outdoor usage. Even if you mount this indoors, it's nice to know the unit is built for a outdoor enviroment. When not in use the charger has a button to take all power from the unit. No vampire power usage here!

I have completed some "hacks" to the wattstation that can be viewed at: http://forum.smartcar451.com/forum16/730.html

Buy GE WattStation Wall Mount - Level 2 EV Charger - 7.2kW, 30A Now

I bought the unit based on the fact that it is made with higher quality materials than the other similar units. I don't care much for the glow but there isn't any way to shut it off. I do like the fact that it has an actual off switch. The relay is huge and makes a loud noise when it switches. As a EVSE it works well. There are no bells or whistles. You plug it in and it the car charges. Nice and simple.

Support is only during business hours. It is very good but you have to be fortunate enough to have a problem when they are open.

Bought this for my Nissan Leaf after considering the Aerovironment, Leviton and other EVSEs. If you have a NEMA 6-50 outlet (or can put one in), this could not be an easier unit to install and start using. Mounting kit is a breeze to use, plug it in, turn it on, and start charging. The Leaf is of course only cable of charging at 16 amps, but this unit being able to charge at 30a was still a consideration for any future upgrades or purchases. Once you begin the charging process, the unit will let out a fairly loud POP! and then it's going. Handsome unit, glossy black finish looks nice in my garage. Works every time, probably been used at least 100 times in the four months I've owned it. Highly recommended.

As I write this review, I'm basing my judgment on 6 months of trouble-free service. I have two each level 2 chargers at two locations, 43.6 miles apart, and this is typically my daily commute.

My other charger is not as nearly robust as the GE product and often trips during a charge. My GE WattStation has not ever failed in 6 months.

One of the features (or idiosyncrasies might be a better word) is when the unit is plugged into my 2012 Chevrolet Volt, a moment later it makes a "thud" noise. Some people find this sound "alarming" however I like to hear the unit when it makes this noise because I have a brief audio indication that the unit is working and charging my car. My other unit is an SPXpress and doesn't make this noise and I always have to stand looking at my Volt to make sure the car is actually in the charge mode. The GE "tells" me it is charging as I am walking away back into my house.

I installed my GE WattStation myself, and it was fairly easy with the exception of one minor detail. This unit, unlike the SPX product, can be locked in-place to the mounting plate that is bolted to a wall. I was never able to get the lock mechanism to not interfere with the plate as I was installing it and I gave up on having the lock and had to remove it and discard it.

The GE WattStation has performed in very high temperatures in my garage here in Texas in August when 100 degrees and more, and also on cold days this winter when our temps have reached as low as 17 degrees. It has never tripped, needing a reset as my SPX product has done about 7 times in the same period. Typically, I am able to have my Volt charged in 3 hours with the GE WattStation after my 43.6 mile commute. The SPX Xpress seems to take just a little longer (not by much) for the return trip, however the fact that the SPX often trips and is not self-resseting sometimes requires "baby-sitting" and the GE is "plug it in and forget..."

A few people complain about the humming noise the GE makes (my SPX doesn't hum...) but I am not annoyed by the sound. It makes no more humming than the refrigerator inside my kitchen. And, the hum is a lot less noticeable than when my AC kicks in inside my house. I can only detect the hum when I am in my garage and in fact I have to walk up very close to the WattStation to actually hear it, but I was a machine-gunner in Vietnam, and I don't have the ability to hear crickets or June Bugs either.

The cord on the GE WattStation curls (or loops) back onto the attractive housing and tucks away nicely. The cord on my SPX doesn't and has to be draped along a couple of hangers I fabricated on the wall.

The GE WattStation is very attractive and I especially like the small oval light on the face of the unit, because it serves as a nice night-light in my garage.

The length of the charging cord is perfect and long enough that I can park my Volt on either side of my over-size two car garage and attach it to the charging port on my car. The actual "handle" for lack of a better word, seems more robust on my GE cord than the 110 volt charger that came with my car, and more robust looking than the SPX product to.

You can see my GE WattStation on my Flickr account. Just do a Google search for "Chevrolet Volt Flickr Southwest USA" and that should take you to my sets "Chevrolet Volt" where I am documenting the experience of using my car.

I'll try and load a picture here on Amazon when I am on my computer having my picture files.

I returned this unit for three reasons. First, after purchasing the unit I learned that it has a known compatibility issue with the Nissan LEAF, which admittedly is Nissan's fault and something they claim will be fixed-someday. All LEAF owners are not reporting problems, and Nissan will cover repairs, but why risk the inconvenience of damaging your charger (which in the car)? Secondly, this unit is huge. I read reviews that stated that it is large, but I didn't think much of it until the box arrived-it's huge! Third, people with experience operating this unit advised me to return it because it makes a lot of noise, which may not bother you if you are installing it in a detached garage, but that's not the case with me-I don't want to hear the charge station while I'm in my living room.

Schumacher SC-1000A SpeedCharge 10/6/2 Amp Charger/Maintainer/Tester

Schumacher SC-1000A SpeedCharge 10/6/2 Amp Charger/Maintainer/Tester
  • Fully automatic and microprocessor controlled
  • Choose between a 10, 6, or 2 Amp charge
  • 50 Amp clamps used for top and side-mounted battery posts
  • Easy-to-use electronic push button controls

Purchased this charger but when I removed it from the box I was very skeptical about its quality, it seemed too lightweight. Once I hooked the device to a battery I had in an old Mustang that had been sitting around forever and had absolutely no charge in it the device went into its repair mode. Its built in micro-chip recognized that my battery had such a low charge that the plates inside of battery had become sulfated so it automatically switched from my setting of a regular 10 amp charge to its desulfation mode and proceeded to repair my battery. It took close to six hours for the device to repair the battery but once again, with no input from me it changed back to its normal 10 amp charge mode that I had initially selected. I left the charger on overnight and in the morning it was fully charged (A green LED starts to shine), sometime during the night, after the charger recognized the battery was fully charged, it switched again this time to its maintain mode. When the charger charges the battery to its full capacity it shuts itself off but continues to monitor the batteries voltage, if battery voltage starts to slip under 14 volts charger turns back on and sends the battery short pulses of energy to maintain the battery at full capacity, this is its maintain mode. The reason for the short pulses of energy instead of its normal straight charging mode is to prevent the water in the battery from bubbling up and evaporating away which would happen if a normal charger was left charging a battery for more than a couple of days. This feature is fantastic, it makes sure that if somehow a mistake is made and charger is left on for to long that it will never overcharge the battery, in fact by leaving the charger on the battery after it has been fully charged it will actually keep your battery at its peak performance level. This was the easiest and most efficient charger I have ever had or seen. I charged another battery I had that was only discharged about 30% and it charged it to full capacity in less than an hour, amazing.

I received the part in 1 week. I then charged my riding lawn mower battery to 100% and all 4 of my cars batteries. I was amazed to find from this tool that two of my cars batteries were at 50% and the other two were at 75%. Now they got charged to 100% and do start quicker. The 2 Amp takes a few hours to charge while the 6 Amp is 3x the charge time rate, and 10 Amp is 5x faster than the 2 Amp. These are all manually adjustable on the fly. Charged all these while hooked to the car and lawnmower.

Cheers,

Mike

Cellet 1000 mAh Output AC Wall to DC Car Cigarette Lighter Port 110v to 12v AC/DC Power Converter Fe

Cellet 1000 mAh Output AC Wall to DC Car Cigarette Lighter Port 110v to 12v AC/DC Power Converter Female AdapterI wanted to use this power a tiny car air compressor. I plugged in the compressor and it lights up. I turn it on and nothing happens. I would send it back, but given the cost, it isn't worth the hassle.

This is a very nice little product. It is not heavy and can be easily packed for travel. It has a universal input, meaning it will work from 100v-240v and 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The 1 Amp output current appears to be a conservative rating.
