I purchased this because I was tired have having so many things plugged into one power strip (blocking other plugs). I am using all four of the available USB ports to charge my Motorola Droid, Kindle, Nook Color and iPod. It is working flawlessly with all three but note that your devices will charge at the same rate as they would if hooked up to a computer. If you need fast charges you'll want to stick with your device specific charger(s). For me the charging rate is just fine and if for some reason I need a fast charge I can dig out my original adapters.

This could be my stupidity in not investigating further... but the low output wattage is a big limiter for this. Basically, you're good for charging phones (slowly) and nothing more. If that's your need, then solid.

Alas, it wasn't mine.

I own two of these chargers, one of which I use for travel, the second of which I purchased for my wife. Really like this charger, it is compact, fits easily in a suitcase or computer bag (the prongs fold flat), and it has four USB sockets. I've used it to charge an android phone, IPod, a Garmin unit, and another phone while on the road with no problems.

Only disadvantage, if it stood vertically, it wouldn't hog wall/socket space. But that's the design, and it saves me from carrying lots of other chargers, so it's a decent tradeoff.

It charges almost everything, I charge my ipads, iPhones, ipos, Samsung G S3, iphone 5, blackberry 9900, Game Pad, plantronix head phone, I bought 2 of these and connect everything on it every night. (you shall use your own cables)

Also it is portable which you can put in your case the power cord can be folded which make it nice in the case.

It worth every penny.
