Bought this to charge the 3 ipods we have from the wall sockets. Use them all the time on trips and this way we don't have to bring a laptop. I like the Belkin brand, but the item I got was not the same as the picture. The cable does not have lock-release buttons; which was the only reason I bought this item. I didn't need the shuffle cable nor the wall adapter, just the ipod charger cable. It's way too much trouble to return, so I'll just give it away, but beware.

Additionally, the ipod/itouch will not sync using the supplied USB cable.

This charger is good for charging only. The cable can't be used as a data cable for the Ipod. This is adjustable voltage, so good for travelers.
