I use this to charge 6V deep cycle batteries. It charges at 6 Amps which is quite appropriate. It is also a great compact size. The cables and clamps are heavy duty. The only issue is that it lets out a slight 'hissing sound' that is extremely irritating. If this can be sorted out then this would be rated 5 stars.

The Schmacher Inc-406A Battery Charger does the job as advertized. I am very satisfied with the capability to charge more than one battery simultaneously, especially since I had to charge my RV batteries, 2 chasis and three house batteries. Recommend you take the time to read the instructions on the unit so there will not be any surprises with your setup.

For the money this is a pretty good battery charger. I was a little disappointed that it did not charge batteries quicker.
