I read a lot about other wall changers that could be purchased for under a few dollars but those had a habit of dying early on. After some research I ended up purchasing this. It works great with the Ipod Touch (3rd generation). Not only is it the touch that I use it to charge, the adapter themselves take in any usb cable so I use it for my zune (with the cable the Zune came with) and other devices that may be charged via USB connections. The car adapter is a nice bonus.

this product is perfect if you do not wish to waste money on multiple power units for your ipod. a power cord is shared between a modular wall power supply and a modular car power supply. (you use the same cord just disconnect it from each when switching between the two.)

I love this product coz this one comes with small usb attachment so you can charge other items aside from ipods although I haven't tried it on anything yet. But I think it would still work, anyway this charger is compatible with my ipod touch 3rd gen. And the best thing about this product is that I don't have to buy another one for the car.
