The advertisement was to good to be true, so don't be fooled by the items advertisement as it does not work. Directions are complete crap and very vague! Went to review the 11 17 second clips that it did record, but could only see 5 seconds of the recording before getting an error message. Used and 8 gig mini HCSD, so size should not be the issue. Very disappointed with the product.I took a chance and purchase this item. It was worth it. I am using a 32GB Micro SD card have it set to record @ 5 minutes intervals.
I am very please with this item. I would not recommend for night use due to the fact that the LED light are very bright and would be an distraction to un-coming traffic.
Other than that the quality is not HD but you can't get anything with a better price budget.I bought one last week. It arrived very quickly. I tested it immediately after I got it. The manual is very simple. So it took me a while to figure out how to use it. The main problem for this product is that the quality of the acquired image is very very poor. The image is totally blurred, no matter whether the objects are far or close. After I played it for half an hour, I decided to return it.camera has suprisingly good video quality, the only downside we haven't recorded any falling meteorites yet. if you need accountability on a road this one is a good choice.I concur with the previous review that camera will stop recording in 15 seconds to 4 minutes depending on Loop setting if the camera sees no motion (this is a separate issue from Motion Detection setting). I spent many hours of trial and error to get around this bug and could not do it. No documentation on Motion Detection and Gsensor setup options. Another example was Loop recording options were 1,2,3 minutes not 5,10,15 minutes as stated in the poorly written manual. I had version 1.00 of the firmware (2012/11/13). Camera has potential; the image quality was good for a $55 camera at all the selectable resolutions. I bet version 2.00 will work. Returned it.
