I recently got my mom the Samsung Rugby II with AT&T. I got this charger set for her for Christmas and she is thrilled to have the extra chargers around. They are a great price, and she says they charge the phone just fine. Maybe they won't last as long as the OEM charger because of how cheap they are(who knows), but they are working just fine now. It will be especially nice to use the USB data cable to get some decent ringtones and backgrounds onto her phone. The Rugby II comes without much, so the data cable will be very helpful in sprucing it up. Very happy with the purchase.

First time I've owned rechargeable batteries at home without having to chuck after 1 year; probably because one charge lasts 4 months in my wireless keyboards, mice and WII controllers with heavy use. Hybrid technology allows for a longer shelf life which seems to help; I keep a backup set of 8 for when the other set of 8 drains and no problems using set of batteries I charged 4 months ago. Wish they were v1.5 instead of v1.2 but has really made no difference for me...also no problems with low end digital camera use...I believe in lithium for higher end digital cameras. Can't go wrong with these. Some people tend to recharge without draining or discharging first but I haven't tried this abuse to see results. I have bought both Eneloop and Rayovac Hybrids and so far, I like them both. Rayovac Hybrids hold their charge after I charge them so that I can store them away in a drawer; and when I can take them out, they are ready to go. They also last longer than standard rechargeables in my electronic equipment. With the Hybrids, I am not forever recharging.

I use these when going jet skiing with my girlfriend. We had a pair of Motorolla radios but they broke within two uses. These are easy to set up and select a unique channel. I tested them on land and they had a out of sight distance of almost 2 miles. They started breaking up after that. Two improvements I would suggest is 1) a better belt clip. It doesn't secure very tightly to a ski vest. 2) a larger transmit button on the side. You have to look to find it when you want to speak. Bought 4 of these for a Grand Canyon river trip. They are pretty user friendly to set up. The range is not all that great 1-2 miles, but that is about what you get from this power of radio. I had expected them to be water resistant, but they are not. They lasted about day or two of splashing water before all 4 were dead. The specs claim j1s4 waterproof standard, but couldn't find any reference on the web to what that means.

Own this unit more than 2 years. I use it for a service truck AGM (non-leaking/sealed) battery hooked to a power inverter 12 to 120 volt. I bolted the solar panel to the top of my camper shell. Then installed control unit next to my inverter inside of camper shell. Unit works well and no problems to date. Wish I could hook another panel to it though. Manufacturer says you should not connect more solar panels. But I could always use another charge controller to add on another solar panel addition. As always, monitor your battery voltage after sundown and battery has "rested" for proper state of charge. Unit came with a quick reference unit for state of voltage/charge.

The order was delivered within four days of purchase. BatteryMart was the merchant, and they did a nice job packaging to prevent breakage. The solar panel works well in all light conditions, even on cloudy days. I use it to maintain the 2 deep cycle batteries on my travel trailer, as we will only use it once or twice over the winter. The hookup was very easy, with all parts clearly marked and set up nicely for install. Its keeps the batteries charged at about 12.5 volts, which is ok for batteries at rest. I wouldn't expect this product to charge the batteries if they were near dead, you would need more solar panels to put out more charge. I've checked the output of the panel with a voltmeter, and it puts out about 1.15 amps, which is a little better than the advertised 1 amp.Works as advertised. I've used it for one summer and for one winter's storage to maintain four boat batteries. In the summer, it kept the batteries at about 85% according to my regular deep cycle charger, which I routinely used to get the batteries to 100% before I went out every couple of weeks or so on a lake that allows only electric powered boats. Charging to 100% took about a half hour each time. I just took the boat out of winter outdoor storage and the batteries were at 95%. I had all four batteries connected in parallel over the winter and the charge to 100% with the regular charger again took about a half hour with a single charge to all four batteries still connected in parallel. I am very pleased.

I purchased a Helix and find that it is a great piece of electronic hardware. However, out of the box it has a firmware glitch that causes the battery to drain overnight if it is off the cradle. The reason being is that even off, the unit is still powering the remote control receiver. Update. I bought the Helix and it is everything I imagined and more. Sure, the FM modulator has been changed, something that really angered me but after a month of use realized that I haven't even missed it. Stop complaining about it, if you can't live w/o the fm mod, don't buy this product. The reception is as good as FM in my area (Boston) and I've had no need for the car kit, the Helix pulls in a signal all by itself. I get a signal in my office which has no windows. I get a signal with it in my pocket. In fact, I've never had trouble getting a signal, it even works fairly well in the subway. I've saved and locked over 200 songs with only 16% of my memory being taken up.

This mount does not have the 3 pins to make it a true car dock. It will not charge your phone, or will it do audio passthrough like the GSM version does!@!!!I came from the Droid X and an easy dock to use and had power in the dock. This dock is hard to use, I have to force the phone in and even harder to remove from the dock, sometimes dropping the phone in the car. Then the external power cable has to be connected to the phone in the dock. The Galaxy Nexus has three pins to charge the phone but this dock does not have this capability, the European version does. I have the VW Jetta that has a long reach to the windshield, so it is a long reach to work with the phone. It also is not very adjustable to angle the phone to remove light glare on the phone screen. Overall this is a cumbersome, hard to use dock with out power. This is the worst design for a car mount that I could possibly ever imagine. It is semi-hard rubber product, and it is EXTREMELY difficult to get the phone in and out of it -it puts a Death Grip on the phone, 360 degrees around all edges. Is that REALLY NECESSARY?!?!?! REALLY!?!?!?! My Nexus is not a hardened criminal convict that will do anything to escape the clutches of a car mount! It's just a phone! I shouldn't need both hands and a whole squad of Chuck Norrises to extract my phone from its car mount!

Gave my husband this because he was always complaining his battery was going dead. I have a Ford 150 Pickup that I don't drive very often and I was having problems keeping the battery charged. I am now using this product and it works great. Battery tester works as stated. CCA settings, however, do no line up with all battery ratings. Settings are in increments of 20 and does not line up with my battery rating.. I brought this charger because I work on vehicles and knew it would come in handy. I had the $60 cheaper version and I think that it does everything that this $215 model does except tell you the top voltage for the alternator and the low voltage for the starter.
