Great panel for the price. I bought it for another brand feeder not knowing it had a plug in connection instead of clip on connections. It had a green and white wire, so I did not know which was positive and negative. I sent the manufacture an email and they responded the same day letting me know the green was positive so I could cut off the connector and put on clips. Great customer service.

I purchased this product because of the look of it and when I recieved my order and tried to use it, the plastic goop holding the wires came off of the solar panel and I had to use silicone to fix it. I was pleased with the product looks, ease of installation and it was perfect for the application in which I wanted for,I used the stealth battery pack along with the solar panel on my trail cameras to save on battery replacement and stop me from worrying about dead batteries when I'm so far away from the hunting property.

Of course, if you're buying these, then you're probably buying them for the price and the fact that it's a convenient combo. My original Samsung AC adapter and charging cable were fine, I just needed a separate one to keep elsewhere and a charger for my car too.

In that regard, they work well enough as extras. I would have given these products five stars for doing what I need them for, but my rating went lower because of the AC charger. To start, it doesn't charge as quickly as an AC charger should. I tested it extensively and it seems to charge at the same rate as plugging your phone into a computer USB port -to get to the gist, it charges slowly. Whereas the original Samsung AC adapter would charge from 5% to almost 100% in two hours or so, this AC charger would take 4-5 hours to do the same (i.e. USB port rate).

Furthermore, and this is what really brought the score down, it appears there is some sort of glitch related to the AC charger. When charging through the AC charger and using the phone at the same time, the responsiveness of my phone (the Galaxy Skyrocket) would go down dramatically. Often, I would be completely unable to enter my lock-screen pattern or I would have to touch the screen several times before my touch registers or simply that my touch would register after a 2-3 second delay. I have to unplug the phone from the charger to make the phone responsive again.

I haven't tested whether this same issue is there on the car/USB charger, but AC charging is my primary method of charging, so this is a big downer. If the above issues I listed are not a problem for you, then these offers a great extras to what you already have. If the above issues do present a problem, I'd suggest buying something of a higher quality to ensure a good experience.

This was a sweet deal and I am so glad I purchased it when I did. I can now charge my phone anywhere at home and in my car at anytime

True story we had just moved into a new community, when my wife found a razor quad by the dumpsters. She brought it home we looked at it and cosmically it was fine. Yet not knowing what the problem was the batteries were not keeping charge. Wondering if It would be wise to replace them; we did. These batteries fit well and keep real good charge. I bought these to replace the batteries in my son's Razor dirt quad. The original batteries went bad withing a year of first using them. I finally decided to try replacing the batteries and found it was relatively easy to do. I just had to cut the old wire connectors off the old batteries and fasten them to the new ones. I charged the new ones overnight for about 18 hours and they work amazingly well. His atv seems to go faster than stock and definitely has a stronger run time as the batteries get low. Arrived bubble wrapped in a small priority shipping box; not a retail package. This is a 1 piece unit, no accessories and a single half sheet of instructions. No loose parts to worry about, the plug is permanently attached and plugs directly into cig adapter. I like the compact size and feel of this unit. The cord is about the right length for me, there is 22" of wire between the plug and the unit. It'll reach the passenger seat just fine from the console. Mine works and produces modified AC power which runs my gadgets nicely (chargers: both USB and AC wall warts). The included USB ports are a bonus. My biggest disappointment is that the fan remains on continuously. This means I'll only be able to use it in situations where the car is running. I had hoped the fan would only turn on when it needed to cool down.

Due to the inefficiencies of a continuous fan, this unit is not a reasonable choice in an off grid battery situation. It is fine in a running car. I bought this unit hoping I could use it in a camping kit but it would quickly drain my solar charged portable battery system (only 9Ah). I'm going to keep it, but it's less useful than I had hoped. I won't be unable to leave this unit turned on when I'm away from the car or it'll drain the car battery, which is unacceptable.

The sales info says "Temperature controlled cooling fan" which tells me the fan should not be on unless it needs to cool the unit. I've contacted the seller to see how we'll resolve this. Perhaps I have a bad unit? *** Update from seller, this unit is working as designed ***

3 stars for delivering the power and having a USB port, but not more due to the noise and waste of energy a full time cooling fan causes. If the fan only went on as needed this would be a nice 5 star Inverter.

Contacted seller, after a couple of email exchanges it was determined that this unit will keep the fan on at all times. While the unit differs from how I understood the listing, it's not worth my time to send it back. When I ordered mine, 1/3rd of the price was paid in shipping fees, so I'll keep this unit as an in-car unit and look to find something else that will be more efficient in a solar/battery based system.

If your intended use is in a car, the fan is most likely not a problem. You can also check to see if your Cig adapter shuts off when you turn off your keys, then it's even less of an issue as it won't drain your batteries when you leave your car. I have a Cig adapter in the trunk I use to power/charge things on trips and when traveling, mine turns off with the key so I can use this in the car without worry.

Mine continues to work well and has survived weeks in my trunk in the hot AZ sun.

Overall I can recommend as long as you understand what you are getting. A nice little inverter for the money. The things that might surprise you is the little cooling fan never turns off. The Peripheral ipod interface allows you to control your ipod with the ipod, while hooked up to your factory stereo. You can move from one track to the next through the stereo but thats about it. You can however control everything through the ipod on the ipod itself. That was what I wanted since a factory radio doesn't have enough control over an ipod anyways. Most other brands completely shut the ipod contols off and your only able to contol the ipod through the radio with very little control, which makes it impossible to search for music unless you unplug it and find what you want then plug it back in. The box or interface unit is much smaller than other brands which makes it easier to find a place to install it with the limited space in a newer vehicles dash. The ipod cord is much longer than other units as well (12 feet), giving you more options in your vehicle to place your ipod.

I bought this product, after I talked to a couple of car radio experts. They told me that my 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo would never accept this product. But I bought it any way, and I am I glad I'm a little hard headed sometimes. This thing works perfectly, sound quality is great, I can control song up and down though the radio. I couple of words about the installation; I am very handy and was worried about this install. You have to get to the back of the radio, and in every car there are different degrees if difficulty involved. You also need to splice in wires and I soldered mine in to make sure they are perfect. Also the instruction manual lists settings for like a 100 cars, so you find yours and flip the little switches to match what the manual says. I did that, plugged it all in, tested it, nothing, no sound. It says some radios take up to three minutes to recognize the iPod adapter, waited the three minutes and still nothing. I was so disappointed, however I know that an Impala almost the exact same as a Monte Carlo but with four doors, so I checked to see if the Impala had different switch settings. Which it did, I tried those settings and it worked instantly! So the important thing is know your car and know cars that are like yours that may have the same radio and try different settings before you give up, because this thing is awesome.

I purchased this to install in my 2002 C5 Corvette.

Included instructions are rather poor. Fortunately there are some excellent directions (including DIP switch settings) to be found on online forums.

The cables included are not used for the Corvette. Unfortunately, I did not find this out until tearing the dash apart to install it. Nothing like doing it two times....

So complaint one there are three cables included, and none of them worked for me. I had to purchase a cable (and one that is becoming rare and may go extinct make sure to check for this before purchasing). I later saw some bright entrepreneurs on a well-known auction site have started offering kits with this device in combination with the correct harness.

The sound quality is great.

As stated in other reviews, the random play control does not work. You get around 7 songs, and then it will play those same 7 again. The only way around this is to use the iPod to forward. Also, sometimes when using the "next" button on the stereo, the song skips or plays fast, "chipmunk style", once again requiring the intervention of the iPod.

A minor inconvenience is that when you press the "next" button, it takes about 1.5 seconds for the iPod to respond and play the next song.

Next problem also stated by other reviews it will no charge the iPhone 3G. You will need an adapter if you want to charge and avoid Apples #%&! nag screens. I purchased one by Griffin and recommend it.

Another problem the connection is powered at all times, key on or off. Other Corvette owners who drive their car infrequently have had their batteries drained by this device. I have not had this happen, but thought it good to warn.

But.... given the options, which are few are far between, this became my choice. If you invest in a good mounting method so that you can easily and quickly control your iPhone/iPod, most of the faults of this device are forgotten.

I just wish Peripheral would update this. It's time to update it to USB from Firewire and try to fix some of the bugs.

I purchased the ISGM73 iPod Interface for my 2007 Pontiac Vibe and I couldn't be happier. It arrived on my doorstep in less than 48 hours, the install was very simple, and the sound quality of this product is top-notch. I didn't read too many reviews that discussed installation, so here are a few pointers I picked up along the way.

I spent a total of about two hours doing the install, but I could probably do it in under an hour if I had to do it again. Obviously, removing the stereo was the first step. Piece of cake. Once out, one end of the supplied harness was plugged into the open port on the back of the stereo (my Vibe didn't come with the factory CD Changer, or even the wiring... which made it even easier). The other end of the harness was then plugged into the supplied interface module. The last thing to do... supply power to the harness assembly/module. I tapped into the 12 volt constant power source that feeds the stereo through the factory stereo harness (in my Vibe, it was the blue wire with the white stripe). I used one of those two-wire blade-type compression connectors, and then double checked that the interface end of the harness was receiving power with a test light. I then grounded the black wire to a piece of metal behind the stereo with a circular wire connector and a sheet metal screw. The last thing to do... connect the data cord to the interface, run the cord under the consol, and plug in the iPod (iPod Classic 80 GB). Instantly, the little "charging" lightning bolt on the iPod came on. I then simply pressed the CD/AUX button on the stereo, and voila... music was flowing (Audioslave, I believe:).

I played around with the EQ setting for a moment or two, and then turned it up. THE BEST THAT THE STEREO HAS EVER SOUNDED! Crisp, clean, clear, and loud (without any distortion). As far as the stereo controls and their interaction with the iPod... they work, but are a bit slow and clumsy. The "next track/previous track" up/down arrows on the stereo work great, but trying to use the factory buttons to search for music would be cumbersome (trying to use the "time advance" feature to get to a particular place in the song is also a little slow to respond). I usually just set my iPod to shuffle and just skip to the next song if need be, so using all the stereo controls isn't that big of a deal to me. If that is of concern, know that the controls of the iPod are still completely functional (this product doesn't cut-off the iPod controls when plugged in). When you turn the car off, the iPod will pause and continue charging (although it takes about 10 seconds for the iPod to recognize that the car is shut down and pause). When you turn the car on, the iPod come out of sleep/charge mode and picks back up where you left off. My one and only complaint...the track/artist info doesn't display on my stereo face. It displays "D1 T1" (disc one, track one), and then advances tracks as I skip ahead (D1 T2, D1 T3, etc...). It would be nice to have the feature, but not that big of a deal to me.

Overall... I am thrilled! My 30 mile commute to work just got a whole lot better!

A fun do it yourself automotive project. Installation difficulty depends on the vehicle. I installed it in about 2 hours in my '02 Chevy S10. Integrates well with the factory radio and even has a pass through for the cassette deck. The sound quality is perfect. The extra long iPod cable is great for locating the equipment. I use it with my iPhone 3G and it works well. (Note: the iphone 3G will say that the accessory is not compatible, but it works fine anyway.) Also, I bought the Scosche charging adapter, but it wasn't needed. I think they updated the product to allow 5V charging of latest ipods and iphones.

I use this with my Samsung Galaxy S3 in my otter box case, and it fits perfectly, no need to remove the case at all. Mounting on the windshield and dash was very easy. But one of the best things was the customer service, you get an email from Laza letting you know about your warranty and to contact them should your product fail. Overall I'm happy with the product.

Update: Make sure when using this mount that you turn the locking ring on the base all the way until you feel it click, this locks the base, I had one or two mishaps because I forgot to turn the locking ring till it clicked.

I carry one of these every time I travel, since I use my Galaxy SIII for navigation. This is by far, the smallest, lightest, easy-to-carry car cradle I have seen. It sticks VERY well to the windshield, but like most units, won't stick on the pebble-grain they seem to put almost everywhere these days. Unfortunately, because the unit is very small, it doesn't reach toward you from the windshield, and the glass on many vehicles is quite far away, making the screen hard to reach and see. I usually end up putting it closer to the rear-view mirror instead of low nearer the dash somewhere. However, unless you rest the bottom of the phone on the dash, you WILL have SIGNIFICANT WOBBLE. This guy bounces around quite a bit, owing mainly to the small ball joint that holds the phone. Summary: Choose this only if you can can rest the phone on the dash, or carry-size is your main concern.

I received my product on time with Amazon Prime shipping option. At this price, this is a wonderful product and fits well with my new EVO 4G LTE. It mounts on my window where I use to put have my old TomTom GPS I'm not so sure I'd want to install the dash mount as it warns it's permanaent but it's an option. The suction cup design is very good so it grips very securely. The product itself is very intuitive but I did look over the accompanying instructions booklet and it was very well written and straight forward. I'm a big fan of Google's navigation application and only made sense for me to get something like this. It's not impossible to get the phone on the holder with one hand but definitely much easier with two hands on the other hand, it holds my phone very securely and I don't have to worry about my phone falling out at all. The simple design is very versatile and you can easily have your phone rotate to be landscape or portrait. The only improvement I could think of is if the gripper was spring loaded so that it opens easily and then uses the spring to close.

I tested with my iPhone, it works great !!!

The charging is fine and the status indication very nice to have !!!

Also I checked the audio noise during the charging my iPhone, I did not get so strong noise from this device...

The test has done with my HONDA pilot 2007 model with SONY FM transmitter via. headphone connection.

And an additional comment, it is not generating heat during charing my iPhone.

The new iPhone has the capability of running off the 3G network which means faster data speeds but faster battery drain when talking and surfing (even if you are not on 3G since the phone is constantly searching for the signal.) Plus with the new addition of the app store, chances are you, like me, are using your iPhone for 100s of things every day. Do not buy this product!!!!! Just received it today and plugged it in to charge my Ipod Touch. After about 10 minutes there was a loud pop and a spark came out of the charger. VERY DANGEROUS, don't know what would have happened if I was not in the room at the time. I guess I got what I paid for!!!

I had decided to spring for this unit as opposed the "660" because of the few [but amazing] reviews I had read (particularly the ability to leave it plugged in and it won't overcharge). The 660 comes up as #1 in regards to user reviews here on amazon, but that simply because of the NUMBER of reviews. This JNC950 unit has equally good reviews, but only 10% of the reviewERS. Well, I decided to spend the extra for this unit. It jump started my 91 camaro from a complete cold and dead battery didn't have to hook directly to battery terminals either. It then started an old piece of crap camry several hours later. This thing was seam less both cars cranked as if their batteries were completely charged.

if you're looking at the 660, but want something even more hardcore buy this unit. It's worth it, it's not a toy (heavy as hell) and will jump start anything. no frills attached, no light, no nothing. just a jumpstarter.

Regarding this iPod wall charger...

--I wondered why the same product kept coming up with different prices. Maybe because they want to hide poor reviews and keep starting fresh? The first time I plugged it into my iPod, for a few minutes the backlight of the iPod turned on, but not the text. Then the light went off and I was not able to get the iPod to respond again for two hours. It was dead. I made sure the lock switch was off, I tried to reset, I plugged it in using the Apple brand charger that has been working fine...but nothing worked. It was gone.

--Perhaps it was a coincidence that, despite the iPod working fine for two years (including a couple of hours on a flight just yesterday), the first time I plugged it in to charge with this product, it died. However, it also seems possible that this product provided the wrong electrical supply to the iPod and fried it, at least temporarily. I don't feel like trying it on other iPods to test this theory, though.

--I thought I was getting a good deal by buying this for 1 cent and paying $4.99 shipping and handling. Now I realize the ploy there is no reason to return it for a $0.01 refund, and shipping is not refunded.

--I urge people to avoid this product.

The Wagan 2483 Inverter is a super oversized product that cannot feasibly work to the parameters it is sold under, and here's why.

The Wagan 2483 Inverter is advertised as a 10,000-watt continuous use inverter. On the back pane, it has four hot-shoes and four grounds. This means that each post must carry up to 250-amps each, continuous, from the 12-volt deep cycle batteries that would power it. To even begin to build such a monster of an incoming battery system, you would have to use 1/0-gauge (that's one ought) wire for the main backbone, which is 1/3-inch in diameter (8.3mm) on each post connection. Considering that would then require two batteries per post input, you would have a serial-parallel circuit of at least 2-batteries in parallel feeding into each post, it would require at least 8-deep cycle batteries to power this inverter (at minimum) to it's rated capacity. At 100-amp discharge rate per battery, the inverter would completely drain each and all batteries in less than 5-minutes (reference: Peukert's curve data relative to 110-AH rated deep cycle batteries).

So, to reduce load to manageable levels that a battery could actually survive (approximately 20-Ah drain per), it would require 50-BATTERIES (we're talking car-sized deep-cycle batteries, set up in a massive array) just to feed this thing so it can run for an hour or so.

The feasibility of actually using this device to its maximum design capacity would therefore cost around $7500 in deep cycle batteries and $1200 for the inverter, or about $8700 total. Cost comparatively, you can get a very nice 10kw Diesel Generator for less expense, that will last for many years after this has eat you out of house and home, batteries, and burned itself up.

This device is for very specific and niche applications, such as solar or wind power arrays, multiple DC power in-feeds, and specific indoor applications where petroleum exhaust is not possible. It is NOT the most efficient means for alternative power applications for most users. Amazon offers much more applicable power sources by searching for 'GENERATOR'.

This unit was purchased to replace an identical unit that failed. The failed unit was used on an industrial lift cart, and appears to have failed due to metal chips from manufacturing processes getting into the case and causing a short on the circuit board. Even so, it had lasted over five years and had worked very well during that time. It is designed to be connected to the battery continuously and has circuitry to reduce the charging current when the battery is fully charged. It performs this function well. The manufacturer of the lift cart should have protected the charger more effectively from contaminants found in industrial settings. The unit is sturdy, reasonably priced, and has LEDs to show the charge status.
