The quality of this unit and its color wide track lenses are of the best in viewing. The automatic start on both cameras when you power up the vehicle is a great option, so all you have to pay attention to is your driving. I formerly had a single lens unit and wondered what if someone should hit me in the rear, I wouldn't have any proof of the accident. Also if you have children sitting in the rear of the vehicle you can switch screens to see the rear of the vehicle to view them as you drive. Uploading to your computer is easy and if you went on a long or interesting trip you can save it as a file. The windshield suction cup is of good quality and holds the camera securely on the windshield. I'm now thinking about buying a second unit to mount in my second vehicle, rather than switching this one over. Not a big deal to switch over, more like remembering to do so. I purchased this item based on the few reviews listed. When I received the item, I plugged it in, turned it on and started to program it. After about 1 minute, the screen went blank and it started getting hot. Then I could smell the components burning. Nasty! I returned it for a refund because I would not trust exchanging it for another one since it failed right out of the box. So much for quality control. But then again, you get what you pay for.
Don't try to contact the company directly. I had to call Amazon and they instructed me on how to obtain contact info.
The only positive was how quickly I was able to receive my refund.

the biggest problem is that the files are not saving properly. less than 50% of the time the sd card will show 0kb and the file will be corrupt. There is no telling when your recording will work and when it wont.
i tried factory reset as well as changing some of the settings to have different recording length times, to no avail. problem was not resolved when formatting sd card or even trying a brand new sd card.
i bought this item because it boasted a higher resolution than the other similar items on amazon that sell for ~ $20-$40. However, my previous camera, a "Sainspeed" also bought on Amazon and from China, had the same video quality issues.
also, i have no idea why, but when i would try and "remote start" my car with the cars remote, the camera did not turn on by itself. i do understand that the 12V plug is inoperable until the car is fully started, and i only needed the camera to start once the car is fully started and im in the car, but even when i pressed the on button after i got in the car, the camera would give an error asking me to plug the camera into a pc. turning it off and back on resolved this. however, this is very inconvenient as i remote start every morning.

I was looking for an average dash cam and this one looked attractive with decent specs. Ordered it from the Brainytrade via Amazon. Delivered in two days, despite a regular shipping rate I appreciated that.
However, it was my mistake I did not check the size of the dash cam. It was rather large and conspicuous. It may be fine for a larger vehicle that needs two cameras.
Contacted customer service requesting a refund. The refund was approved the same day. Thank you Ms. Wu for your prompt reply. Funds we credited back within two days. Excellent service.

This is a nice set-up and works well, once you figure out how to operate it. manual written in Chinese and "pidgen English" ("This product will give you a colorful life"). Once you go over manual a few times and play around with the unit you figure out how it works. Just don't expect "plug-and_play" when you first get the unit. It is pretty much set up from factory, but you still need to know how to engage night vision, turn camera's on and off, set date/time, etc. Software that came with unit useless and gave me virus warning. But by plugging unit into computer you can still open video files. Video cord supplied with unit was faulty, but it was supplied with 2, and other one worked. Overall, I am very happy with it, and the price is right.
