Received this model car charger as a gift along with a wall charger, case & Kodak camera. Unfortunately I had assumed it would work like the other items which did work, but when I finally needed this item on a trip it did not work at all. It has a 1 year warranty & I was able to get the sales receipt & have all the original packaging...but what Kodak does not tell you is they honor the warranty only if you mail it all back in at your own expense. For an item which costs under $10 it hardly seems fair with gas & postage prices the consumer should have to pay all the costs to ship a brand new defective item back to a company. Purchased from a mortar store I have been unable to find this item in my area stores so I would be able to return it with out having to shell almost what it is worth to ship back & though I have repeatedly requested Kodak to send me a return shipping label it's been to no avail. Nope...though not stated in the warranty I am told "I must shoulder the shipping & handling costs!" Guess the "valued" customer is just out of luck! The store it was purchased from no longer carries it (might it be because there were too many problems with the quality??) & told me to directly contact Kodak for service. I am afraid I am old enough to remember real customer service provided by companies... including return shipping labels for defective products ...so for me Kodak's "customer service" has a lot to be desired and I certainly have recommended to family & friends that their products no longer be purchased. I myself am tired of companies who make promises & are more than willing to take your $$, but then after the sale are not willing to stand whole heartedly behind their products! Certainly a customer should not have to dig in his pocketbook to have a brand new item fixed or replaced when defective! E-mailing brought cookie cutter responses & when this was pointed out to a CS rep by phone, they could of cared less. I know I will be wary in the future to purchase any product associated with Kodak....funny how Kodak is willing to lose trust in their reputation & future sales over a low $ item...so much for service! You would think in the current economic climate, with consumers making fewer luxury item purchases, big companies such as Kodak would be much more concerned about how their customer is treated & views the company. It's not that I can't afford it...for me it's totally the principle of having to pay to ship a brand new unused defective item back which sells for only a bit more than what it would cost to ship!

I use these strips to hold down the printer in my RV home office. They might not be pretty, but they are a ridiculously way to secure heavy electronics for travel.I am on my second printer and second set of these grips. I received the charger. First it's all in black color. Looked not as good as it showed in the picture. Second, it only comes with the mini USB tip. In the picture, it shows 5 tips in total for different phones. But I only received 1 mini USB tip. Also, there's no LED light indicators. The first time I tried to connect the charger with 4 AA batteries to my iphone, it's not charging. Then I had to replace 4 AA batteries and it charged. Since there's no ON/OFF light showing on the charger, so you won't know if it's the AA battery's problem, the charger's problem or the phone's problem. Not worth the money. A MUCH better phone charger than the others I have! I use 4 rechargable AA batteries in it and it lasts as long as my phone battery; probably longer if you use alkalines! Smaller and lighter than my phone too! Make sure you have your own USB cable though!

First I must say the quality is top notch. The installation is a breeze. The instructions are clear and complete. The panel is compact in size. Now for the best part... I just completed a 2 week vacation (June/July) across the western states and I was confident I would have power to spare when dry camping and this system did not let me down. On clear days the panel was providing a charge from about 7am to 6pm. The unit is rated to provide 5.45 amps but from 10am to 4pm I was easily getting 5.7 to 5.8 amps more than its rated current. Even better now... on completely overcast days it was still providing from 1 to 2 amps of current. You can't go wrong with this system. The charger looks great, is of high quality and provides all the information you'll need. The wire is of high quality as well. There are cheaper systems but they are not worth it. I purchased this product and had it shipped with the idea of installing it before an upcoming vacation. Unfortunately, I received the package and found that the accessory kit ( regulator, brackets, wire, instructions, etc. ) was missing from the box. All I got in the box was the solar panel. I sent an email to the manufacturer and was sent the missing parts in just a few days. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from the manufactured and their prompt shipment of my missing parts. Amazon wanted me to send the item back and they would ship me a new one. That didn't fit into my time frame of installing before my vacation.On the companies website there's a video for how to install a similar solar panel. I installed the Go Power 95 Solar Panel Kit based off this video. Installation was easy and mine installed much like the video. The only difference was having to buy screws for a rubber roof and Dicor sealant for the roof. I found the Dicor at a local Camping World. The kit comes with screws for a fiberglass roof but not for a rubber roof. After installation it was late in the day with heavy overcast, I was getting .6 amps. This was installed on a 26' travel trailer with dual batteries. I had no problems installing the solar panel and was able to connect the wires to my fuse box instead of running the wires all the way to the batteries. It would have been almost impossible to neatly run a wire from the panel to my batteries directly.
The next morning was sunny and I was pulling in 5.5 amps as advertised. I'm confident this solar panel will perform as expected for many years to come. My main reason for purchasing the panel is to keep the batteries charged as it sits in storage. Also to provide adequate battery charging when camping without power for a few days.
There are cheaper options on the market. I purchsed this one because I liked the clean look of the regulator and how it was made to go inside the RV. The small size of a 95 watt solar panel was also a plus. The regulator is easy to use and easy to read. I also appreciate that the cable included is UV protected and waterproof connections coming from it to the included cable.

I got my go power 95 with the solar kit and regulator/charger in less than 2 days from Amazon. Perfect condition. I followed the directions and it started working immediately, 4.7 amps in the 5pm sun. I will check back in in a month for update. So far its Great!!I found out that you need to watch where you park. We had to relocate the motorhome after parking where lots of birds rested in the tree. What a mess. The panel was easy to clean by following the instructions.

Bought this as a replacement for the car charger that came with my Nuvi. This charger puts my Nuvi 360 into mass storage mode which makes it totally unusable while in the car. Tested this cord with another Nuvi 360 and a working Garmen car charger with my Nuvi 360, isolated the problem to this charger. At first I loved this cord because unlike the confounded Garmin one, this one had the coiled cord and was therefore much tamer. However, the usb cable shield stripped right off one day thru normal use so had to trash it. Would rather by thrice that amount and get something that works than waste my money and time.

Amazon should change the title of this product to a trickle charger. This solar panel will not charge a dead battery, not even close. This product will keep your battery "topped off" if you are going to leave it sitting for a long time.This product would be good for someone leaving their car at the airport during a long vacation or a spare car that sits outside all day that is driven every once in a while.

Was having trouble with my Ford F250 battery being dead after it was left sitting for a couple months. There is some slight computer draw or the like in the system that eventually runs it down. This is just whats needed to keep the battery topped off. The review is simply.... It works or did for a while! Well after a couple months it WASN'T working. Took it apart and found out a soldered wire had come apart. So I resoldered it and wallah it's been working since. So if your stops working take it apart...and see if everything is hooked up before you trash it. A warning to those looking to purchase this. The odds are that simply plugging this into your cigarette lighter WILL NOT WORK. This is not so much a problem with this device, but rather what they do not tell you.In order for this to work, you need to have a cigarette lighter that is still connected to the battery WHEN THE CAR IS OFF! If you only have a cigarette ligher that works when the car is running or if the key is in the auxiliary position, this device WILL NOT keep your batter maintained unless you leave the ignition in the auxiliary position which also means you are leaving your keys in the car and also potentially leaving on other power consuming components that come on when the ignition is in auxiliary mode. In my case, the dash clock stays on when in aux mode.
There is a solution. You need to bypass the cigarette lighter and go right to the battery. To do this, you can buy one of these: Roadpro 12V Battery Clip-On and Cigarette Lighter Adapter
This may actually be included in the bundled products you see to buy with this solar system. If you want to keep the solar panel inside the car, then you will likely need an extension cord to get the cigarette lighter into the cab of your car. Just keep all this in mind. For most folks, just buying the solar charger is NOT going to solve your problem.

Seems well made and does supply some juice. Very little. A tiny trickle to keep a decent battery in a parked car from dying. Make sure it's pointed as directly at the sun at midday as possible.It is in two parts, the panel and a voltage regulator. You could hook the panel directly to your battery and get a little more juice out of it since the regulator wastes some. But warning, a direct link might let it act as a drain at night, haven't tested it.

I am no fan of FM transmitters -all that I've tried do not perform with reliability and clarity. This one is the worst I've tried. I tried this instead of my Kensington cigarette-lighter-powered transmitter. It was much worse with way too much static.My main purpose of buying this, though, was for when I'm mowing with my WorkTunes Peltor WorkTunes AM/FM Hearing Protector headphones. I hooked it up to my Nano and the receipt was poor, quiet, with some static. However, the worst part was that the transmitter kept falling out of the iPod because it is not clipped in like most good accessories.
Also note, there is no brand name to be found; no website, no phone number, etc.
[UPDATE 4/2/09] It has now failed. I decided to try to use it with a shower radio, but that only lasted a few days. Plus I had to put it so close to the radio, I practically had to wrap the antenna around the iPod. I bought this and it actually works across the room and you can hear it!

I have bought numerous transmitters trying to get one that works with clarity. This transmitter is the best of all. The only problem is to connect an iPod charge line to it, does not fit. But, I just charge it overnight on the computer or disconnect the transmitter for a short time to charge the iPod. The main thing is the reception of the transmitter and that is great and the best one of four transmitters tried.

I like having this for times when I travel or don't have my PC turned on but my Zune needs a charge. It puts out the 5 volts DC which is standard for your PC's USB 1 or 2 port so any device that uses this current to charge itself can use this too. It works with my iRiver, my Razr and my wife's iPod so it is a handy thing to have around. Most places are charging 20% or more for the same product as this, not worth it in my opinion since all it really is, is a power transformer which are cheap for just about any other type of gear you use them for seems having the physical USB plug makes it seem as though it does something "special", it doesn't. This time when the WFCO started acting up, I decided to try the PD unit and so far I like it the install was a bit tricky as space was cramped, but the unit fit with some wire rerouting connecting the two wires and plugging it in was a breeze -
It's not in an easy access location, but I left the optional pendant connected for a while and the unit seemed to be cycling properly in spite of being 'cooked' once by the WFCO, the battery appears to be working fine I'm thinking the cycling on the PD unit has actually helped the battery back to a decent condition after a couple weeks, I removed the pendant and put the breaker panel back together -
The WFCO was a 55 amp unit and I replaced it with a 60 amp I have had two deep cycle batteries, so I thought it would be smart to increase the size slightly in case I add another battery these days, I haven't parked anywhere that I haven't had at least a 110V 15A circuit available for battery charging so I haven't bothered adding the second battery -
The real issue is how this unit performs over time so far, so good -

I purchased the original unit in March 2012 In July, the original unit stopped working I contacted 2008 second time, they promptly arranged for a replacement unit which has performed flawlessly since hats off to '2008 second time' a great vendor to do business with -The converter was delievered on time, and was the correct product. I will continue to purchas from this supplier. The installation was straight forward.this was a replacement for a WFCO convertor that burnt out in my camper. After reading many reviews I settled on this converter and this amperage. the WFCO was 55 amps so I went witht eh 60amp Progressive Dynamics and the 9200 seriess.
