Amazon to my rescue ! I had to check my part number and recheck the webpage over and over because I could not believe the base price... then I remebered I would probably have to pay shipping and these are really heavy... I have Amazon Prime (which is a wonderful deal that I save with almost 98% of the items I buy each month) but this item is not covered by Prime...
Well to my surprise the Vendor doesn't charge for Shipping ! ! ! ! Plus it was super fast; It only took 5 days from the vendor on the West Coast to my East Coast home.
Great Deal ! Low cost, Free Fast Shipping
Thank You !!!my n w s g i c b i d d f d f d f b n m n this sucks i didnt want to spend alll night f'ing around with this damn rating

Motorola TalkAbout T5720 5-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair)

- Set of 2 AA battery-powered TalkAbout radios with accessories
- 5-mile range, 22 channels, 38 privacy codes
- 10 audible call tones, talk-confirmation tone
- Audible low-battery alert and battery meter
- Voice activation (VOX) when used with optional accessory
Included nicads are nice but a bit tough to get out when you want to switch to standard batteries. The charger allows you to charge just the nicads...nice. The display is hard to read when you look directly at it for some reason. Angle the unit and it's fine. These are not the smallest units around, but fit well in an adult hand and appear to be sturdy. Overall, very good units at this price point.

I have lots of experince with 2-way radios. I bought a 0.5W T5200 model long itme ago and it was a great radio. Then I lost it and got the expensive T5820 (1Watt), which was a very bad choice (see my review on it). I gave Motorola one last chance, and got the new T5720 recently (1 Watt). Great Radio. Works well, small, easy to operate, good price and superb sound quality (unlike the T5820). Go for it.Read Best Reviews of Motorola TalkAbout T5720 5-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair) Here
This is my first radio, I bought it last week. Used it over the long weekend in Lake George, NY. It was really useful to talk to my friend to find parking or ordering food. As cell phone coverages was not good as you go 3 to 4 mile north from village, this radio helped us a lot. I bought a AA battery model because I have bunch of NiMH (not NiCd) rechargable batteries (used for my digital camera). NiMH is FAR Superior than NiCd batteries.Want Motorola TalkAbout T5720 5-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair) Discount?
This product works very well if used in the manner in which it was designed.Boaters, this is not a marine radio, and don't expect the Coast Guard, Sea Tow, or even other boats to be monitoring these channels. Today's marine VHF radios are small enough for even a Jet-Ski or the smallest dinghy and have appropriate waterproofing.
If you want to cover a farm, country club or large industrial or office park, spend the extra money on a proper business radio. Also, wherever possible, a vehicle-mount (truck, tractor, golf cart) radio with the right antenna will reach much farther and sound much better than anything hand-held.
Who should buy this radio? Skiers and snowboarders, bicyclists, hikers, campers, hunters, any groups of people who may tend to get separated beyond shouting range. Video production, stage and ligthting crews who can find this a low-cost, easy-to-use substitute for Clear-Com systems. Obviously they will need to use headsets to keep the sound from getting into the audience or audio track, and those who need to keep their hands free, like video camera operators will prefer the VOX headset. It would have been nice if they sold these as a package, which would be cheaper than buying them separately.
This type of signal is by nature for line-of-sight transmission only, and not like CB, and will not go around large mountains or "skip" like lower-frequency radio signals.
This radio is built ruggedly with the kind of quality we got familiar with on the older, bulkier Talkabouts. As for the menus, I would suggest you keep the manual close at hand until you get the hang of navigating though the commands. I like the pushbutton-release belt clips.
I bought the NiCd version of these radios, which Amazon also sells, and it came with a handy charging stand and works well as long as you remember to charge it up before using. :-) Those of you who choose the AA-powered version would be well-advised to get a nice set of NiMH batteries and charger, even though Amazon has great prices on alkaline batteries.
Overall, this radio is very worthwhile and satisfactory.I bought this to communicate with friends for a cruise in Mexico. They did not work well on the ship, at all. Basically you had to be 50 feet away for them to work.
Even in Mexico, while on land, they were not very good.

This little adapter worked well and charges the GPS without a problem. The only thing is the leads are a bit thin and could use to be a little thicker gauge.I bought this for use on my Harley with my TomTom XL and the fit was so so. It said it would fit, and it did with a little tweak. I had to use a Dremel tool and sand the rubber/plastic connector end to make it fit easily into my TomTom. Other than that it has been great.Shipped on time, opened it up, installed it in about 2 minutes on my Ninja 650 and it works with no problems at all with my tom tom and with my DroidX using a mini usb to micro usb converter I got a radioshack. No prob. the install was easy and works like a charm. The only thing they sould do is make the line to the battery about 6 inches longer for extra leway in routing the line.Schumacher SE-4022 Manual Wheeled Battery Charger and Tester

Someone said the tester was just a voltmeter, so I got it because a voltmeter is adequate for a quick test at the car. But it is a voltmeter that only goes up to 12.7 volts!!!! And it has no numbers on it. Despite the fact the meter says "charging system" condition on it, it is only capable of measuring battery voltage. The meter is pegged in the green with 12.7 volts. (resting Voltage for a fully charged battery) Which means if you believed the word "good" on the "charging system" meter, you'd think the alternator was charging, but it may not be. It only tells you if the battery is charged or not (with the car off, and no surface charge on it). The manual explains that is it testing the battery, but it is not labeled well on the charger, and in the advertising.Good, inexpensive manual charger, but VERY limited "tester".

I bought this charger after my hand held smart charger stopped working. I wanted a charger that had ample boost capability. I have used this charger a couple of times now and has worked flawlessly. I'm very pleased with its performance and very happy with the price. Please be aware that this is NOT a smart charger. I have owned several smart chargers (both high quality, $150 and low quality, $79)in the past and they have all either failed or were not accurate. This unit works very simple. Set the timer select the proper amperage and let it work. If you are unable to operate a manual charger I would recommend searching for good quality smart charger with very good reviews.Want Schumacher SE-4022 Manual Wheeled Battery Charger and Tester Discount?
This is a great charger. I ordered it and received it three days later with standard shipping charges. Pretty impressive huh!!!The only bad thing is the plastic, injection molded tires that come with the unit. They are hollow and pretty thin. I can't imagine they would last any length of time if it is moved around frequently. I did not even put them on the unit. I went to Home Depot and bought some hard rubber tires with metal wheels and had to buy some bushings as the axle on the unit is fairly small. It is now a great unit! Schumacher should just spend a little bit more for better tires and charge four or five dollars more.Fast, free shipping and discounted price made for a great value purchase. Have used to charge dual batteries for diesel trucks. Works great! Did not start truck in start mode until 10 minutes of charge on completely dead batteries, but that may be normal for any charger in 200 amp start mode. Casing very thin, and wheels light duty, which is just fine unless you are in an abusive environment. The wheels work fine because the unit is not very heavy. I am very happy with this unit and would highly recommend it so long as you know how to calculate how long to charge your batteries (although the timer could have a larger time range for charging dual, parallel connected batteries). This is a manual charger that you can set the charge time for up to 2-1/2 hours at user selectable 40 or 2 amps. I don't trust my memory to leave it charge in continuous mode.

- Charges 6 and 12 Volt batteries
- For 12 Volt regular automotive, deep-cycle, AGM/Gel Cell, and 6 Volt regular batteries
- Fully automatic and microprocessor controlled
- 125 ampere 12 Volt engine start - for emergency starting
- 15 to 40 ampere 6 and 12 Volt rapid charge with self-adjusting, variable charge rates and float-mode monitoring
This charger has a desulfate mode and if it senses your battery is sulfated and not taking a proper charge it will automatically engage. I have not tested this function nor have I extensively used the start function.
Another positive feature that most smart chargers do not have is the ability to engage and charge a battery that is almost dead. This charger will engage and charge a battery that is as low as .1 volts. Most smart chargers while not charge a normal car battery that is below 6-8 volts. (Very inconvenient if you accidentally left something on and ran the battery completely dead)
I bought this charger to fast charge my RV batteries (while dry camping) when running off a generator. It testing it charges them at least 2-3 times faster than the normal onboard RV charger/inverter and quickly takes the batteries to 100% (in just hours) rather than requiring an entire day like most onboard chargers. Another plus is that this charger is small compact and weighs in at just a little over 10 Lbs. I tend to research things to death before I buy them and this charger continues to seem to be the right choice. If you should have questions you can email me at TeamFamilyAffair@hotmail.com
-ScottSo I've been neglecting one of my cars. Haven't driven it much because well, it's old and doesnt have a/c OR heater. Had to move it and found out the batteries dead. Jumped it so I could move the car. Drove it for 30 minutes and all was well because it started fine... Until i had to move it again. I looked into getting a trickle charger but it would be just too slow. I settled on this one because of the brand name and the features.
Got it fast via Amazon Prime 2-day but it took a couple tries to get the darn thing to charge. It must have been discharged for a long time because batteries that are left discharged for a long time will get "sulfated" and not be able to recharge/hold a charge.
The schumacher thought it was charging a 95% charged battery because of the sulfation. It took a couple of tries and fiddling with the headlights while this thing was connected to get a good 2A desulfating charge (blinking charging light) from a low%. It may blink bad bat a couple times but that means you should just try again. My battery got progressively better and eventually got back up to 100%.
I now have a revived car battery and a fast charger than can float/trickle charge if needed.Very satisfied. It operates as advertised. The only negative comment would be that the post clamps are not
real strong and are small. The faceplate is trilingual (which in itself is a little annoying) but, because of this... the writing on the buttons is tiny tiny. If it had only one language, the letters could be 3 Times as large which would still be fairly small. As it is now they are FAR to small to read from more than 12" away (at least for me and have pretty good vision, not perfect).
The second and BIGGEST complaint by far is the "Computer Control" limits how long it will produce a "Starting" Charge. On my unit it is 5 seconds, then it goes into a "Mandatory" cool down cycle for 3 minutes during which it doesn't charge, it doesn't start it just doesn't anything. I KNOW, I KNOW this is a "Safety System" to protect the electrical system of the vehicle. But why does something marketed as PRO-SERIES have a "Child Lock". I am a PRO, if I want to crank the starter for 30 seconds, that is MY decision, not the chargers. In most cases, I am under the hood and someone else is operating the ignition. And usually a vehicle that has a drained battery takes more effort to start than one in a normal condition. About the third time you have to wait for 3 minutes to get another 6 seconds of crank out of this unit... you want to show it to the wall in a very high velocity introduction. I purchased a FAR less expensive NON "Computer Controlled" Unit that does what it is was purchased to do. This one is relegated to just overnight and maintenance charging. I would have returned it but it took me several uses to get totally disgusted with the starting operation and by then I had run out of time to return.
So look VERY CLOSE at the control panel, Don't buy it for a Pro-Starting Charger and your good.
P.S. I did contact Customer Service at the Manufacturer to ask if they had a control panel overlay that had larger print, they were very nice but answered in one word "NO"I had been using another Schumaker charger, but it wasn't near as fast as this one. I really gets the job done fast on both deep cycle and AMG batteries, plus it shuts off when done so it does not kill the battery. I use it to charge my race car battery between rounds and it not only keeps the water pump and fan running to cool the engine, but chargers the battery at the same time. works great...
