Samsung© Intensity II U460 Combo Rapid Car Charger + Home Wall Charger + USB Data Charge Sync Cable

Samsung© Intensity II U460 Combo Rapid Car Charger + Home Wall Charger + USB Data Charge Sync Cable for Samsung© Intensity II U460What a great value! I got all three brand new for the price! I was so excited. I tried each one with my Samsung Intensity II and they all worked. I am just ashamed I doubted these at first before owning them. PLUS these are better made than what I got from the Verizon store! Will purchase again for sure! I will also recommend this set to anyone that has the same phone as myself.

I purchased this charger pack to supplement my new phone from Verizon Wireless. I have tried both the car and wall charger already and both worked fine to charge my phone. The connection to the phone is very good once connected but I advise to be gentle so as not to break it. Has nothing to do with this product in particular, it is just that the connection and connection port on the phone appear like they can be easily broken if the connection is forced. This has NOT happened to me, just looks like it. Anyway this is a nice charger set with both normal home and car connections which is very convenient, especially since the phone only comes with a home charger. Having an extra "home" charger I can keep at teh office ensures that I can charge at home, at work or in the car (essentially anytime). This product works and is very inexpensive, a great alternative to the official charger that you woudl get from the Verizon which I am sure would be multiples of the price. I have not had it for long so I cannot comment on the longevity of the item, but I recommend considering the much more expensive brand name alternatives. The one thing I was disappointed with was it took over two weeks to ge the item, which I thought was long. Amazons's website gives an estaimted delivery time and the item was deleivered at least a full week later than that. I was lucky I did not need it in a hurry. If you do, order early!! (5 star for product very low rating for delivery time although item received new sealed and in good working order just took too long to receive for an overall rating of 4 stars)

This item worked beautifully for about 2 weeks I have been using the wall charger and the car charger a lot and now they have just stopped working. The weird part is that they still show as charging on my device, but the battery simply doesn't charge. Frustrating!

Can't beat the value for the price. The product arrived on time and works great. I was hoping just to get a wall charger so to get all three for the price was awesome.

I paid maybe $5 total for all 3. They all work. I don't use the USB charger, but at $5 for all 3? How can I complain when Verizon charges roughly $15 for one?

DEWALT Bare-Tool DC825B 1/4-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Impact Driver

DEWALT Bare-Tool DC825B 1/4-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Impact Driver
  • Tool only with no battery, frameless motor for extended tool durability and life
  • Compact size and weight allows access into tighter areas and reduces user fatigue
  • 1,330 in-lbs of torque to perform a wide range of fastening applications
  • 0-2,400 rpm/0-2,700 rpm for faster application speed
  • Replaceable brushes for increased serviceability;textured anti-slip comfort grip for maximum comfort and control

I actually got this tool when I bought the 6-tool set that comes in a contractor bag. I really bought the set for the reciprocating saw, the circular saw, the grinder, and the "normal" drill. My attitude toward the impact driver was more or less, "eh, that thing looks pretty wimpy". Well, that was two months ago, before I completely re-framed half of a house. This is now the most used tool I own. I can drive 3 1/2" screws into studs and headers all day long, one handed. As long as I'm driving straight, I will never strip out screw heads with it. In fact, the worst problem I have is breaking bits. The DeWalt "Impact Ready" bits are the worst. I will sometimes break a bit after only one screw. That should give you an idea of the torque and power this thing generates! The good news is that I did find that, surprisingly, Kobalt bits seem to hold up very well for some reason. I can sometimes get 50 screws driven with one Kobalt bit! I'm talking 3 1/2" screws into yellow pine, by the way. If you're driving 2" screws you'll go all day with one bit. Get the Kobalts, though they're $13 for a box of 50 at Lowe's. The DeWalts are something like $7 for 5 bits which are good for about 10 screws total before they all break.

It may seem intimidating that it breaks bits, but don't worry, my 97 pound girlfriend has no trouble at all using this thing. Really it's unbelievable. There is simply no way to put into words how well and easily this thing drives screws. It seems impossible. The days of leaning into the back of a regular drill with all my weight, just to have the screw head strip out millimeters from being set are over!

I'm buying one of these for my brother for his birthday it's the best gift I could possibly give to someone that does any kind of carpentry or drives fasteners. Absolutely worth every penny.

PS. I know this review is over the top, and I'm sure there are other drivers that perform just as well, but my experience with this tool has been just great, so I wanted to share it with the world! Thanks for reading!

I own 9 impact drivers from 3 different manufacturers and my old Dewalt (ni-cad style) was my least favorite of the group but this new one (which is made for the new 18v Lithium-Ion type batteries but works with all my old 18v ni-cads) is top notch. Dewalt has apparently fixed most of the problems found in the old ni-cad style impact guns (like excessive bit wobble) and added a light like the Makitas and Ryobis have. Now more compact and more powerful than the competition. A definite winner.

Not long ago a friend gave me an extra DeWalt 18 volt drill he'd come into. I'd been using a 12 volt Makita for over a decade, and I was impressed with how much more torque and battery life the DeWalt had. The same friend also had a DeWalt impact driver from the same series, and again, I was impressed how well this handled mechanical tasks usually relegated to a pneumatic impact driver. But even more impressive was how well the DeWalt worked for driving screws.

A few years ago, the major cordless tool makers started to come out with impact drivers which they marketed not to mechanics, but to carpenters. While today's 18volt cordless drills do a pretty good job of driving screws, they still start to bog down when driving really long screws into hard or resinous wood. The slow, stall, and eventually overheat. But impact drivers don't do this. They work on a different principle, using a motor-driven hammer to repeatedly strike an anvil that drives the output shaft. As the load increases, they switch from spinning to a rapid-fire staccato impact mode, in which every impact turns the screw a bit farther, while the motor continues to spin and bring in cooling air.

I was very pleased to discover that Amazon had a DeWalt impact driver available in a batteryless and caseless package (for those of us who already have a charger and several batteries) for about $125. I purchased mine for a mix of yard projectsthis is a great tool for driving the big screws used to tie landscape timbers togetherhome projects, and motorcycle/scooter maintenance. And amazingly, it's even lighter and more compact than the DEWALT DC759KA Heavy-Duty 18-Volt Ni-Cad 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit. I'm giving away my Makita 12v drill/driver to a nephew who likes tools and gadgets, and switching 100% to the DeWalt system.

I bought this last year after my Black and Decker 18v drill died it's 3rd death. I got it in a 4 tool combo kit on sale at Lowes. I build haunted houses for the Halloween season so most of what I do construction wise is with rough and sometimes very old and hard woods. The woods are also made super tough (like rock) from a chemical that must be sprayed on them to make them fire retardant. I found that before, even with an 18v drill that screws would shear off before going into the boards which made it difficult to make secure connections in the wood. It is hard to make something look old and spooky and still have it be safe so having good, solid tools is a must. Right after I charged the battery I tried this tool out. Wow!! It drove a 3 inch deck screw into an old hardened 2x4 in the blink of an eye!! I had never used a tool like that. It quickly became a favorite of mine on the jobsite. I used it hard and it never once let me down. I bought it toward the end of the build so I only got to use it on a few hundred screws but never a disappointment. I'm looking forward to using on this season's build as well as in my volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone who builds.

I bought this universal charger after returning a different charger that didn't fit my TomTom Via. The universal charger works very well and the convenience of being able to charge the GPS device at home and set up a route before departure is really nice, especially if the trip isn't very long. Also, on a longer trip it could charge the TomTom in a motel room for the next leg of the journey. The charger came with a small additional USB connection which I don't need for the TomTom Via, but it might fit another device, like a phone. It seems sturdy, not too big to be stowed with the TomTom in a larger carry case.

This is a good piece of kit, let down by its small battery rings and its wiring. My battery terminals are pretty regular size for a motorbike, yet the ring ends were way too small. I had to cut and bend them to have any hope, which has weakened them significantly. They are just about hanging on, though I hope I won't need to take them off anytime soon.

As can be seen in the product picture, there is a plug half-way along the wire length to make fitting easier, which is a good idea. However, the naked terminal of that plug on the battery side was + meaning increased risk of a short circuit. It should be the opposite for obvious reasons, with the end exposed instead. I don't know if this means the +/polarity is out, but the USB power plug I use runs fine, able to charge my phone or my GPS. The last criticism is that the on/off rocker switch, which is essential and works well, is not labelled on or off. I have positioned it so that back is off ("back off"), which allows my faltering memory to remember. Despite these criticisms, I am glad I bought it given the convenience factor of operating my GPS.

This battery harness/adapter works great and was very easy to install. The battery connections however are too small to fit through the battery screws so I clipped them so the screw would go through. I received the harness in a timely manner.

Great delivery and worked great for my trip to sturgis, I'll recommend this item if you like to go on long trips and want to keep cell phone or other items charge.

  • Bluetooth® compatible with a built-in microphone and speaker

Received the Garmin 3790T four days ago. I upgraded from a from a Garmin Nuvi 760. My first comment is Wow! The size and physical design of this beauty is amazing. That's the same word that comes out of most people mouth's when I show them my new toy. Physical beauty aside this new unit really is a huge step up from my 760.

The 800 x 480 pixel glass screen is incredibly clear and a huge enhance over my old unit. The multi-point screen works great. Everything about the 3970 is an improvement from the old 760.

One interesting point is the 3790 picks slightly different routes than the 760 used to. I assume this is the nuRoute/trafficTrends in action.

Hands down my favorite feature on the 3790 is Voice Command. When I originally bought this item I had concerns about how well this feature would work. Let me tell you it works great. I can navigate to some place, add stops or phone someone without ever having to pull over or take my hands off the wheel. What a huge safety improvement.

Another seemingly small item they improved that I really like is the zooming. The map zooms in as you slow down and out as you speed up. It does it very smoothly and provides the perfect amount of data for my tastes.

The traffic data is also very useful in urban areas and well presented. However this area contains my only complaint about the product. Using the traffic feature causes small little adds to occasionally pop up on the screen. They are unobtrusive and don't happen very often so far but I would prefer to find a way to turn them off.

All in all I love my new Nuvi. It is one of the best purchases I've made in years.

Buy Garmin nüvi 3790T 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic Now

I've been using Nuvis for years. Was very excited to get the new form factor Nuvi so I could give my well-worn 765 to my graduating daughter.

Received my fancy new device and put it directly into service on a trip to NYC--my first time there after all these years of exploring the rest of the country.

Made it through the northward routes of PA into Jersey, and then found myself at one of the famous "Jersey jughandle" intersections and unsure which lane to take for the direction I wanted to go. And the moment I stopped, I looked at my beautiful new Garmin to find out my next move.

And right on top of the map was a damn Red Lobster ad, hiding the info I needed. Couldn't make it go away, couldn't see my map underneath. Let loose a stream of profanity. Then the light turned green, I began to move, the ad went away and I found I needed to be in another lane, but my moment in traffic to plan the lane change had passed.

Garmin takes the only safe moment to check your map away from you--the moment you are stopped. So the only times you can check your map are when you are in motion and should have your eyes on the road.

Who is the genius that came up with this garbage?

I knew this problem was going to be bad in NYC traffic. But this POS had me steaming before I even entered the city. Inside the Lincoln Tunnel, once again hoping for lane info to get to my hotel, up comes a great big ad, WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION, obscuring the directions I paid my $450 plus tax to have. I damn near caused an accident with the "tourist slowdown" needed to find the right lane in time to get there.

Once in the city, this thing was the very definition of useless, with ads obscuring the map every time I was at a standstill and able to look at it. When I realized I was going to be more of a problem to surrounding traffic with this thing than without it, I put it in my suitcase and went to electronics alley and got the cheapest Tom Tom on the shelf--$79.

The Tom Tom outperformed this POS Garmin in every respect. If you must have the latest and greatest advertising-delivery technology, you can bid on mine on ebay.

UPDATE FEB 11, 2011:

Response poster Kevin looks to have solved it--the ads are the trade-off for 'free' traffic data. If I'd gone into the menus and turned traffic off, apparently the ads would have been turned off too.

Living in the Balt-Wash area, I'm jaded as to the traffic functions of Nuvi units anyway--3/4 of the time they route you over to the BW parkway for massive delays on the 95. I take the 95 anyway if I'm going to the north side of D.C., and the massive delays the instrument prophesies rarely materialize.

More often I get stuck on the BW Parkway and the Anacostia, where the brilliant Garmin device is routing me and everybody else who has one. So I've pretty much stuck to the 95 and had better luck in the past year or so. I've firmed up my ego by practicing my skills at saying 'no' to a female voice issuing commands. First I was answering her with unprintables, then I just smiled and said 'yes, dear,' while ignoring her and continuing my chosen route.

Now that advertiser-supported traffic is the norm for Garmin, if I should buy another Nuvi I'll just remember to switch the feature off. It seems to have limited utility anyway.

So, potential Nuvi buyers: if the ads get in your way, pull over, go into the menus, and turn off the traffic update feature. Then I think you won't have any more problems with gigantic banner ads obscuring your maps.

I just got my Nuvi 3790 today and I must say it is by far the best GPS I have owned. I have owned Garmins, TomToms, Navigons, and Magellans.

The display is super crisp and bright. Even in bright sunlight. I had my Nuvi 1690 up next to it. The 1690 was washed out, the 3790 was very, very bright.

I transferred my favorites (waypoints) from the 1690 without a hitch. Also installed traffic cameras... no problem (UPDATE the traffic cameras I installed were from GPS POI which I have used on other Garmin units without a problem. They did not appear on this unit. I understand there is some kind of bug Garmin is working on. I used the Garmin POI Loader, as I have in the past. I downloaded the Garmin Safety Cameras for the US, which they didn't have a while back and they do show up, but I need to see what happens when I come across them.). I tried the voice command and it worked surprisingly well. I had used a TomTom with voice control and this was far superior. You get a list of commands on the screen and I had no problem activating the feature simply by saying, "Voice Command.' Picked me up without a hitch. Only once did it seem to freeze on me and for a minute I thought I would have to do a reset, but I said another command and it cleared. (UPDATE I really like the voice command feature. It makes things so much easier while moving. I am not a 'voice' person but this has come in very useful. Rarely does it miss a beat. If it does I just repeat and it gets it.)

The unit is super thin. In fact, I almost lost my grip on it a few times it is so thin. I bought the Garmin case for it and it fits very well. Easily fits in my shirt pocket.

I did a backup on the hard drive, which by the way is a whopping 8 GB, using a little over 4 GB -room for expansion indeed. I couldn't select all on my mac and get them all to copy over, but I burned a DVD and pretty much everything was copied from what I could tell. It took about 25 minutes or so.

The unit did get pretty warm in use, perhaps because of the black back and the sun. I haven't used it at night to tell if that is it. (UPDATE it doesn't seem to get as warm now even with the sun hitting it. Perhaps the electronics needed to get 'burned in' and all is well.)

I live in northern Virginia and was not able to pick up traffic. My 1690 was showing traffic in the same areas. The 1690 is cell-connected, the 3790 is FM.

In comparison with the 1690 with most detail selected, the 3790 is pretty much about the same in many areas, perhaps a bit more in others. No complaints about that at all so far.

I do like the ability to rotate the screen. I didn't think I would but I like the portrait view. It gives me more of where I am going rather off to the sides. I will need to experiment with it.

Routing is a bit different than my 1690. I will see how it evolves in its learning my routes. Calculation seems quick. It did take a while to lock in after being powered off, but nothing appreciable.

I can easily pack this, or put it in my shirt pocket and take it most places.

A great GPS. Pricey, but wonderful. This is the iPhone 4 of the GPS world. Nothing comes close to the beauty of the 3790.

Update 7/6/10

The Junction Views on this appear more often than they did on my 1690. Same map version, but obviously updated Junction Views. I have read that in Europe they have photo realistic Junction Views and from the pictures they look very good. Hopefully they will update the US Junction Views to photo realistic ones.... makes for a much nicer picture. (UPDATE in portrait mode the junction view is on the top half of the screen and you still see the road and your 'vehicle' moving in the bottom half of the screen. In landscape mode junction view takes up the entire screen.)

Also, the software user interface is different in this unit and while it offers pretty much what the 1690 software does, many things are in different places. For instance the last position you are at when you remove the unit from the mount in the 1690 was found under favorites. In the 3790 it is found under parking last stop.

Best thing is to explore all the menus and see what's there. Very nice indeed.

7-10-10... Some tips.... To power on push the on/off button and wait to hear the click. Let go at that point. To power off, you need to HOLD the power button down until you see a power off screen asking you to make a choice. Otherwise, if you hold the on/off button down briefly and let go, it goes into standby and when you push the on/off button to turn it 'on' you get a lock screen, at which point you hit the lock icon and it comes to life. This is not turning the unit off just putting it into standby mode. For a quick return to where you left it, standby works great, but not for long periods of time as it uses up the battery. If the car power is lost the unit goes into standby, not power off. If you pull it off the mount, nothing happens. Interesting.

Want Garmin nüvi 3790T 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic Discount?

This is a beautiful little unit very slim, large, bright screen. The voice command system gets things right about two-thirds of the time, which means you can get going almost as quickly using voice as you can using the touchscreen. It switches between portrait and landscape effortlessly. And, having upgraded from a Nüvi 670 to this, I appreciate the new nüvi features such as displaying speed limits and cameras. Having included lifetime traffic is really handy too.

The integration of traffic into routing seems smoother than prior Garmins, although I drove in "red" traffic today that was moving really well, so maybe it overstates the problem sometimes. The new "mytrends" feature, in which the unit gets used to where and how you drive, sounds nice I haven't seen evidence of how it affects things yet.

There is also a lot of new environmental and fuel economy software built in. The concepts will be familiar to people who drive hybrids you get constant feedback, and can also access a lot of data, on whether you are doing too much stop-start driving, too many bursts of acceleration and too much rapid breaking. You get fuel economy and absolute cost estimates, all of which is handy. However, I don't like having the little "leaf" indicator taking up screen space, telling me whether I'm being naughty or nice. I wish I could remove it in the display options! A firmware patch is needed from Garmin.

OK . . . now on to the PROBLEM. This thing has POPUP ADS. Yes commercial popups, like "Crabfest at Red Lobster" and "Best Western Rewards Get 1500 points" and "Unlimited lunch $6.90" that pop up while you are driving, and take up screen space, obscuring the damn map. I called tech support, and they said that these are not supposed to pop up while you are moving, only while you are stopped. But these came up while I was driving today. Tech support says there is NO WAY THE POPUP ADS CAN BE DISABLED. Apparently it's built into the license with Navteq and will happen whenever you are receiving traffic information, and they cannot disable it. How is this OK? They don't mention it in the product specs, or on the box. I am paying hundreds of dollars for this device, and I cannot opt-out from popup ads?$#@!% Garmin seriously needs to get a firmware patch (or a hardware patch if it's part of the traffic receiver) out to allow people to disable this. The popups don't even have an "X" in the corner for you to press to get rid of them.

Having got that off my chest, I'm still happy, overall, that I bought this unit.

I have owned many gps units for the past 10 years. I am very picky when it comes to gps units and I do not think twice about sending back units that I do not feel are good and accurate. I currently own Nuvi models 360 and 780.

I received my 3790T last week and for a brand new model this one has blown me away. One main thing to remember is to make sure you uncheck most of the choices on the avoidance screen so your routing is more accurate. For instance on my unit the only thing I have checked is to avoid ferries.

I downloaded the voice Dr. Nightmare and is by far my most favorite voice and is excellent quality. The maps that ship with this unit are April 2010 and Garmin support indicated the next map update is due out in July and they indicated I would get that update for free.

So far the 3790T has exceeded my expectations and I will keep this unit.

It has not locked up or rebooted at all during the first week so far, so hopefully the hardware issues other models have had are not going to occur since this model is a new design.

I would highly recommend this unit !

***Update***

Well after writing my previous review the 3790T starting to do some strange things. When I left work or my house I did not go the direction that the gps had suggested which would of normally prompted the gps to recalculate the route. In both cases the gps correctly showed my position on the street which was 1-5 blocks away from the suggested route and it did not reroute me until I crossed the suggested route and then it recalculated.

Next I had problems getting the unit to power up when getting in my car one morning. I placed the 3790T into the cradle with the car turned on and it would not power up, I removed the 3790T and tried to power it up holding it in my hand and still nothing. I then placed it back into the cradle again and after about 1 minute it power up. Keep in mind the battery was fully charged.

The last and most puzzling issue was I had told the gps that I wanted to go home so it calculated the route correctly, then I decided I wanted to stop for gas on the way home and searched for the gas station and selected to add it to my route which it did successfully. While still driving towards the first stop at the gas station I added a stop at Wendys into my route which occured about 4 miles after the gas station and 3 miles before my home.

I arrived at the gas station just fine, then it wanted to route me home first even though I was driving right past the Wendys that happens before my house, then once I arrived at home it wanted to have me do a U turn and go back to the Wendys.

I cancel the trip and put it back in again and it still was going to route me home, before the Wendys.

I called Garmin tech support, held for the usual 1 hour and then explain the various issues. Since there are no software updates for this new unit yet the only suggestion then had was to do a reset all and see if it happens again.

Well I decided not to keep the unit because I can't justify keeping a gps that does not route correctly. I purchased a Magellan Roadmate 3045-LM on sale for $169 that includes lifetime traffic and map updates that uses Navteq maps and traffic just like Garmin does and works correctly.

So if you are looking for a dependable no frills gps I would highly recommend the Magellan Roadmate 3045-LM. Also if you are a AAA member, once you register your Roadmate you can extend the hardware warranty for 1 extra year for free !

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter to use when she goes out on her bike. Great concept however, the batteries have never fully charged and/or kept a charge. We tried replacing the rechargeable batteries with regular aaa batteries and those don't work either. Very frustrating and disappointing.

The radios work well as long as you are in open area. Inside of a little bit of forested area the signal is broken and sometimes inaudible. Radios do not work while being charged.

We use these at work and always have four or five sets of them in use. We use them 8 hours a day 6 days a week to communicate with each other within the shop. They have great sound quality and last a long time.

Got these as cheep two way radios for 5-yr old daughter. She seems to like them ok but they have a beep with every transmission. Very annoying so they stay on top of fridge most of the time. No option to turn off. Recommend getting ones without automatic beeps or spend more money for option to turn off. Very bad decision to turn on beep. Should have just not had that option turned on.

These are a blast! But, I do have to say they don't go the whole mile range like stated on the package. We only get about 1 mile range if that. With that said though they are fun and the kids love them and the quality is pretty nice!

MIDLAND LXT600VP3 36-CHANNEL GMRS RADIO PAIR PACK WITH DROP-IN CHARGER & RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES, Model#: LXT600VP3We got this Midland pack to test in the field and really like these new extreme range NOAA weather alert ,two way radios. Lots of great features , 121 privacy codes, keypad lock, water resistant, mic jack, and more. They tested out great, here in the hills and valleys of the high desert, in Central Oregon.

We use them to gain position, out predator hunting ,and when riding on our atvs.

I give these radios a high recommendation ,for quality, features, and great range.

Cons /// They work great and are a good value ,except if you run them over on your atv, like I did. I hope this review is entertaining ,and helpful. FISHGRILLER APPROVED

Craftsman 19.2v C3 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included)

Craftsman 19.2v C3 1/2' Impact Wrench
  • Impacting mechanism produces 200 ft. lbs of torque
  • 0- 3,000 Impacts Per Minute
  • Forward / Reverse selector Is conveniently located for easy bit direction changes
  • Mid-handle design with over-mold ensure balance and comfort
  • Works with 19.2-Volt battery pack powered by DieHard (sold separately)

I purchased the full kit, which includes two NiCd batteries, a charger, and carry bag. Only had it for a week or so, so can't comment on longevity or battery life. What i can conclude though is this thing delivers the torque. This impact is rated to 200 ft-lb. I got access to a 250 ft-lb torque wrench and confirmed that this will in fact loosen bolts tightened to 200 ft-lb, barely. Might eek out a bit more, but 200 is already pushing the limit. I'm glad to see a tool deliver its rated specs. I tried it out on my car, which just got back from the tire shop. They always crank the hell out of the lug nuts with their air tools and this Craftsman had no trouble getting the lug nuts off. Did some brake bleeding over the weekend, so all four wheels came off and on no problem. I have yet to run this thing down, but doing 16 lugs off and then back on was a non-issue.

The handle is covered in rubber. The red part of the trigger is plastic, with a black rubber inlay. Overall, the tool feels good in the hand. I'm quite impressed with it, especially considering the price. I was originally going to spend $300+ on one of the more powerful cordless impacts out there, but i'm glad i held off. If you're not working on heavy equipment all day, this impact seems to do the job for your average auto repair duties. I'll update this review as I get more time with this tool. Sure, i just did my wife's brakes, but that was pre-impact. My car now needs brakes and I can't wait to let the impact loose again. How the heck did i live without this thing for so many years....

December 2011 Update (1 year ownership)

So I haven't exactly been using this every weekend, but it never fails to impress. I've done brakes, tire rotations, and a CV axle replacement with this tool's help. I end up way less tired at the end of the day. It's tough enough working near the ground, in the driveway for several hours. With this tool, I get my work done faster and end up a much happier guy at the end of the job. I primarily use the tool for a lithium battery which holds a charge well for the occasional use the impact sees.

I bought this device to aid in changing tires.... I also purchased an electrical device that will allow me to charge this impact wrench from my car. during late-night, prior to my birthday, I had a blowout and was able to control the car and pull off to a safe spot.... I was able to change my tire and return to the road within 12 min!!!...... better than waiting for tow truck eh!?

I purchased this impact from Sears to add to the other C3 products I have. Rating the looks and grip comfort I give this impact a 5 star rating. The compact drill is phenomenal. This impact, however, over heated so quickly I was astonished. Like, literally, 5 minutes of use trying to remove the crossmember on my Trailblazer EXT. I took it back and bought the Craftsman corded impact which I am well pleased in.

Maybe I bought the lot runt. I will say this about Craftsman, they are NOT what they used to be!

Want Craftsman 19.2v C3 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included) Discount?

Not as strong as advertized. It's unable to remove the lug nuts from my truck which are torque to 120 foot pounds.

I love this thing...don't want to drop the coin on getting a big air tank and compressor, but want the power of an impact wrench? Here's your answer. Uses the same batteries that a Craftsman cordless drill uses, so you can use the same charger and batteries for both. Used this to drive bolts into the weld nuts of a six year old Sienna for a tow hitch, and it worked great.

Car Mount Holder Kit for Air Vents and Windshield + Car Auto Plug-in Vehicle Charger + Leather Cover

Car Mount Holder Kit for Air Vents and Windshield + Car Auto Plug-in Vehicle Charger + Leather Cover Case Holster Pouch with Belt ClipThis combo kit is exactly what i needed. Been on my windshield for 2 days now and hasnt fell. works better and bettter constructed than I wouldve thought. Glad I bought it!

Got this because I needed a new phone holder for my car. I can always use a back up car charger just incase. Also I needed carry case with a clip for when I wear scrubs. I have a Samsung Captivate Glide. The description says the carrying case is made to fit the phone without phone covers but I have one on mine and fits perfect in the case. On top of that the case has belt loops. The windshield mount hasn't fell once off my winshield. The vent part barely worked for me so I just stuck with the winshield mount. Besides I like to feel my AC and heat when I want it. The sides slide up/down and open independently for access to the buttons on the side of the phone. My phone buttons are towards the the top but my wifes are in the middle on one side and at the top on the other.

  • Charge battery via CAN-bus socket
  • Test at start of charge and every hour while connected
  • 24/7 safe long term battery care
  • Multi stage desulfation for battery recovery
  • Optimizes battery power and life

Just purchased this for my 2008 BMW R1200RT (01/2012). The bike is fairly new to me and I wanted to be sure that the battery was maintained in good condition during the winter months that involve less riding and more time in the garage.

Bottom line is that the charger was shipped ready for use on my bike, using the CAN-bus program (I'm assuming that the seller, Kinney Cycles, St. Joseph, MI, did that kudos to them!) A quick read of the pretty straightforward instruction book (yeah, I do read 'em!) and I was able to connect the charger directly to my bike, using the on-board, front accessory socket. Uh-oh!! the Optimate4 showed a non-retentive battery at the end of its first charge-test cycle.

I removed the battery from the bike, changed programs to Standard in anticipation of needing to do some deeper work on what was apparently a depleted battery, and started the charger again. Result from the charge-test cycle was a perfect battery! Hmmm...

Changed the program back to CAN-bus, re-installed the battery in the bike and this time connected the charger via the rear bike socket. Perfect battery showing! Moving the charger plug to the front bike socket again showed a non-retentive battery.

Bottom line is that this isn't only a battery charger. It has also identified an electrical issue/fault on my bike that I didn't know about. Can you tell that I'm impressed with this unit?! It is well-made, simple to use, thorough and well worth the money. Good kit!! :)

UPDATE (March 9, 2012) TecMate asked me to return this charger (they arranged shipping and pick-up) so that they could upgrade it. Apparently, the issue wasn't with my bike, but in the charger's firmware. Their engineering staff took the time to review the situation and determined that.

I received the charger back yesterday, complete with firmware upgrade sticker (!) and it is now charging flawlessly through the BMW CAN-bus outlets. Just what I wanted, since it makes connecting and disconnecting the charger so simple and easy just plug it into the BMW outlet. Excellent customer service and attention to detail on TecMate's part. Gets top marks from me!! :)

My battery to my BMW R1150RT was close to dead! In comes Optimate 4 to the rescue!!! What an awesome product!!!

Before using the Optimate 4, I had to push start my bike a few times and what a pain in the butt that was! I rode my bike around for an hour and still the battery would not hold the charge. I knew that I wanted to get it before winter but I ended up forking over the money (not much) late summer. What a life saver! I plugged it in via the CAN BUS on the bike and in a couple of hours, disaster averted! I highly recommend this product as it does all kinds of things beside just recharging your battery. Buy it! It's cheaper than buying a new battery!

Rapid Car Charger w/ IC Chip + Universal Windshield Car Mount Holder with Large Suction Cup for AT&T

Rapid Car Charger w/ IC Chip + Universal Windshield Car Mount Holder with Large Suction Cup for AT&T Samsung Captivate SGH-i897 GSM CellphoneI bought this a couple weeks ago and had trouble with the one they sent me so i wrote to them about it, after a couple days they instantly sent me a new one free of charge, couldn't have asked for a more profesional company. i dealt with some companies that dont care if what you got is even as described.

so thank you for everything. Product works great and fits any device. maybe the only thing i would improve is to add directions but if you spend 5-10 min playing with it thats all you will need.

Very good car charger, comparable to those you will spend at least $10 on, and the holder included is very nice and durable. I thought at first I would throw away the holder and was just getting it for the price of the charger but in the end both were very good and I was very pleased with the product and price!

Cellet PIPHR Retractable Plug In Car Charger for Apple iPod Classic, iPod Touch 2nd Gen, iPod nano 4

Cellet PIPHR Retractable Plug In Car Charger for Apple iPod Classic, iPod Touch 2nd Gen, iPod nano 4th GenI was looking for a new charger for my car since my other one got caught and started to shred. I love that it's retractable so it can't get caught and shred anymore.

Interesting design so I tried it. I don't talk much on my cell so having the ability to adjust how much cord is extended to connect the phone is nice. When a call comes in you just pull the phone and cord reels out easily. Also the cord is limp type which I like and takes up little room when retracted.

  • 2 ampere trickle charge setting charges a small 12 Volt battery in 2 to 12 hours
  • With the fully automatic mode, you don't have to worry about overcharging your batteries
  • 51 ampere clamp size

Wow, this charger is heavy. Hope that means it's got a good transformer from 110v. to 12v. Tried it out right away as the two batteries in my F350 Ford diesel were dead. Hadn't driven it for a few weeks as it's a farm truck. Brought them back up fast. Left one on the 2 amp charger over night just to be sure they were fully charged. Really like the capability to manually charge, let the computer do the charging, or do a trickle charge. Not sure about the trickle charge voltage however. Somehow I thought that 1 1/2amps was the max. for trickle charge. Could be wrong, been there before. Seems well made, good battery clips, cords are long enough. Meter seems to work OK.

Mine arrived yesterday inside a box that was inside a box that was inside another box. Although the boxes were undamaged during shipping, the cabinet of the charger was dented on four sides. Why? A transformer capable of delivering 50 amps of current continually is a very heavy component of a good battery charger. It is much too heavy for the cheap, flimsy cabinet that Schumacher calls "Heavy Duty". It's a little like having an anvil bouncing around inside a tin barrel. The thing is just too heavy for its container.

Because the Amazon website says that it is "non-returnable" I took it apart and pushed most of the dents out of it. Only one dent required a hammer and a block of wood to fix, the rest I could push out with my fingers! Yes, that's how cheap the cabinet is on a Professional Series Battery Charger from Schumacher! I pushed out the dents with my fingers! No amount of packaging could ever protect the eggshell that was built around this thing.

While I had it apart to fix the dents, I checked the connections (good) and the mountings of all the components. The mounting base of the transformer was bent (due to its weight) but the rivets holding it down were still tight.

Electrically it is a well-designed piece of equipment. Structurally, it is crap.

Schumacher! Wake up! We'd gladly pay twenty bucks extra for some heavier gauge sheet metal! You put quality into the rest of this "Professional" charger -why not the cabinet? I own four of your (smaller) chargers in all. They are all decent and reliable chargers. I was expecting more from your "Professional Series" Chargers than what I got. I really feel like you guys let us all down on this one.
