We got this for my wife's iPhone 4S. Insertion was difficult from the beginning, and now that she's been using it, connecting other cables (such as the standard Apple cable) to the phone is touchy and unreliable. It's not impossible to charge it, but it's become very difficult; we're throwing this cable away so it doesn't damage any other devices. It's a shame, as the six-foot length is nice and the color is distinctive and easy to keep track of.

I bought this charger in order to have a longer cord to charge my iPhone with and it works. It fits well and it gets the job done. It has not affected the battery life of my phone at all. It is made out of good material I have had it for over a year and it still looks brand new.

It's a great length and a durable cord! The ONLY downfall is it doesn't work when connected to my computer. But it's a charger so it's doing exactly that!
