I installed this and attached it directly to the back of my battery and it works great! It is small enough to fit and leave under hood so i just need to plug in when i leave car in storage. I wish they would offer more options for mounting and attaching to bat a set of clips would have been nice.

I mounted this in a 2005 Cadillac XLR because of all the electronics it is recomended to disconect the battery if you plan to leave the car sit idle for more than a month. There is only 16000 miles on this car and gets treated better than my Harley. It was very easy to install complete with all you will need. Just don't forget to unplug the chord before you leave.

Love It! Works like a charm. Shipped really fast. Happy with the product. I would buy it again, if I needed another.
Save 27% Off I installed the charger yesterday. I haven't needed to use it yet so I can't comment on it's performance but I can comment on how it is put together. I wanted to have the AC power come out the grill so I didn't have to open the hood every time I used it. The 6 inch cord would not allow that. The only way I could use the DC leads would be to mount it on the battery compartment even thou the instructions suggest mounting it as far from the battery as possible. The only solution was to cut both the AC and DC leads and solder extensions on both. It's easy to tuck wires away but not so easy to stretch them.
