Cell phone chargers for the car seem to have a way of disappearing. The other thing that happens is you upgrade your phone every two years, sometimes switching to another manufacturer. That means, of course, that you likely need to change out all of your chargers, both car and home. These inexpensive car chargers (less than $4 including shipping) seem to work just as well as the $10 variety. I can see no reason to spend the extra money.
