Original Message: Battery is incapable of holding a charge greater than 6 volts after a few months. Originally I thought maybe my transformer was bad, so I bought a new one however, I still have the same problem with the battery maintaining a charge. The battery is being used for an alarm system backup with no draw, but have a low voltage warning showing up constantly. Finally, after purchasing a digital multimeter I have been able to monitor the system and battery. The battery is the problem. My last battery lasted 5 years, this one didn't make it 5 months. Maybe I just got a defective unit.

Update. The seller was great in taking back the defective unit and provided a replacement that has been great so far.

Works perfectly! Not a common item to find, used to replace old battery on alarm and light system. This replacement came quickly and has worked great since installation!
