The one I ordered works fine for charging and filling the ipod. It is compact and has no perpendicular parts so it won't get broken by being left on the floor and stepped on, like our original Apple one did.

Okay I'll be honest, I've only used it once and for 5 minutes. I own an apple computer(iMac) and when I plugged it in to it my computer and iTunes both acknowledged my shuffle and iTunes allowed me to transfer songs and what not. I'll come back and update this review if it stops working. All in all as of now I'm happy with the purchase of this super small charger. It's dirt cheap! (on a side note a seller on eBay is selling new original iPod shuffle chargers for about 9 bucks if that's what you want. Just look it up)

I bought two of these. I had the original charger set up on my desk to always be able to quick charge, etc at home.

I bought one of these to keep in my back pack with my laptop to charge on the road or update my shuffle.

The other I keep in our kitchen where we have a USB outlet in the wall. I plug this in for a quick charge.

I use my shuffle a lot for running. This is small, simple, and works perfect for charging and syncing. Can't beat price!

My Husband and I ordered this charger because ours broke. It works great we love it.Its a great price and works awesome. :)
