It is very good item for i-pod gamer.
When you play 3d games, battery runs out fast.
Good price and higher capacity of battery.
You must like it.I am very happy with the life of this charger. It holds a charge for weeks that has recharged my iPhone multiple times. It is a little bulky, but because it charges so quickly you don't need to leave it connected for long.I bought this because of the i-Phone in the family whose primary user tends to let it run down. Think of this as the can of gas you keep in the back of the truck. It wouldn't normally be needed, but if you get stuck far from a gas station, you have the back-up. It only makes sense if you are not near a conventional charger (at home or in a car). You might think that one can charge the unit and a phone at the same time by putting the phone on the unit while it is charging, but that appears not to be true. Seems to hold a charge well. Good insurance, especially if you think of your phone as a security device. This battery stops working pretty early. There were other reviews about it dying within the first week. I usually charge my phone on a regular basis so didn't need it too much within the first few weeks I got it. I've used it occasionally only for road trips. It started malfunctioning on the 2nd full cycle using it, where it blinked and died out completely. I thought it was the end of the battery, but tried a few more times to recharge it, which it then came back on. I used it a few more times on occasion. Right now I trying to recharge it from complete empty and it's showing no life whatsoever. I've used it between 7-11 times max on occasion. So in this case, you're getting what you pay for. Perhaps invest in a better battery or a car charger?I have an iPod Touch 2nd generation and this battery is a wonderful, inexpensive accessory to own. I wasn't too happy with the battery life of the iPod touch but with this battery augmentation I can use it heavily (games, internet surfing) all day long and not worry about recharging until I go to bed. I would just give it a break on occasion because the iPod can get warm. As a side bar, I've used it a lot more lately because of corporate restrictions at work. Anyone with an unlocked Nokia e60 on up should get the program Joiku ($12!) to turn your phone into a hotspot. Just make sure you have a data plan and having an unlocked phone keeps you-know-who from knowing what kind of phone you're using and not paying the smart phone data plan. It's kind of slow but you can browse on your terms (he he he...) I will be getting a hand-me-down 3G S soon so this ad hoc system will go bye bye.
The battery is housed in a plastic case with a brushed aluminum bezel with 4 blue led charge level indicators and a charge level button to see how much juice is left when not connected. It is slightly bulky but light and I would have preferred it in black but it works and it isn't unsightly. The connector is standard for both iPhones 3g and 3gs and iPod Touch 1st-3rd generation (I tested it with my friends devices). The battery unit charges up quickly from 1-1 1/2 hrs. yYou need to charge it for 4 hours the first time.
I can charge both devices simultaneously with the standard cable while they are connected. I often keep the battery connected while in use and only let the iPod battery discharge on occasion to keep the iPod Touch battery in good condition. My battery App suggests I let it run down below 20% at least 1x per month to do a full cycle recharge. My only gripe is that the audio port is blocked while it is connected which is why I give it 4.5 stars. Not so for the iPhone though!
