What I like about this:
(1) Works very well charged laptop, cell phone ... so far so good
(2) Corded, instead of plugged this will keep it safe as well as a good utility since I can reach it to power a laptop in the rear seats
(3) Single unit with both 110v as well as 12v USB power so I can charge my laptop as well as iphone at the same time
(4) Safe, enclosed unit
(5) Cool, has a inbuilt fan which keeps switching on/off a couple of times whenever it needs to cool off the fan is pretty silent, you can hear it only when your car is parkedOrdered this to inflate an air mattress on a camping trip. Came exactly as described. Nice that it has a quiet cooling fan built in. Especially nice that it also has a USB port. This is now my default charging device in my car. Price and shipping were excellent. The product was even smaller than I expected, and it worked perfectly for my over 3,000 mile drive. The boy sat in the back using the laptop the entire time powered by this beautiful little device. In my prius c (pretty quiet vehicle), I couldn't even hear the fan on the unit. I would buy any of this company's products again in a heartbeat!!!Operated as expected: powered 120v/15w compact flourescent in troublelite, performed fine. Then tried 120v/65w charger w/laptop in line voltage outlet while smartphone was charging in one of the low voltage(5v/1a,2a) USB outlets; inverter's indicator lite stayed green and inverter did not overheat with car engine-on or engine-off/ignition-on. Both lapper and celly charged and performed fine while connected. Subjectively I would suggest the 21" power cord be 3' longer and more flexible. Only time will tell me about this unit's long term reliability.
Aesthetically, I like my inverters like I like my women . . . attractive and quiet; this inverter met both criteria.
I'm getting another one for touring on my VMax. (charging celly, lapper and Btooth mp3).
Thanks, Amazon and Bestek, I expect you both to be there for me if this product malfunctions. This little critter works fine. Fan sometimes buzzes, but a couple of taps and it shuts up. Charges my zune and laptop and my GoalZero speakers at the same time without issue. Oh yes, it was low cost. I've been using it for a couple of months.
