This holder was nice and charger on it works great but unfortunately it is not stable enough. If you take a hard turn, you need to hold it or it might fall off. But even in regular driving, it needed adjustments every once in a while. Also, going over a bumpy road or even speed bump tended to cause it to loosen up and need adjusting. I love the idea but unfortunately it isn't stable enough to rely on this to SECURELY hold your phone. I wanted this to be able to keep my phone out of the sun while having it mounted as a GPS. I used it for my Galaxy S3. Unfortunately, I'm probably going to seek a refund and return this soon.
Unfortunately this item did not hold the phone it was bought to hold. After driving only a few miles the phone dropped out of the holder. The seller DID make returning it very easy.

i have a 2011 Subaru Legacy, and the up-front lighter is in a recess above the shifter. The holder and charger are good quality, however in my car it isn't standing up like the picture; it is curved up at an angle and occasionally falls over or gets in the way of putting the shifter into Park. I don't blame the item, I just need to find the right one for my car.
Having 2 USB ports is excellent, as I could charge my phone and my passenger's iPhone at the same time without conflict. Thumbs up for that.
