This charger was not available through the manufacturer or through Magellan retailers. I had almost given up on finding one, but decided to give Amazon a try. To my pleasant surprise (I should have tried Amazon first!) Amazon had them and at a price much cheaper than anyone else. Keep up the great work Amazon!!!!! By the way, the charger works great and is the exact unit that comes with the Magellan product.

This power adapter worked as well as the one that came with the original GPS unit but for a fraction of what the manufacturer wanted. A great deal.

I can't believe how fast this was delivered. Also, it's well made and works perfectly. I previously bought a cheap one at Walmart and got exactly what I paid for. Was that ever a waste of money but not this one.

The replacement did not look like the original which was good because the original "pin" that connects to the GPS did not fit into the connector fully. The replacement fits perfect.
