I purchased this to mount my Nuvi 1450 on the handlebars of a motorcycle we rented on vacation. I attached it in the center so that it went around two bars. Over a period of five days it never loosened or slipped. The angle of the navigator rarely needed adjusting even while traveling over bumpy roads. The navigator was held in place very securely, standing up to high winds in the mountains, while traveling 60 MPH, with no windshield to protect it. I will be using this on road trips at home from now on.
