I've had the KG-818 radio for about a day and been disappointed from the very start. First problem is that the radio doesn't support the 2.5 kHz frequency step necessary for some of the narrow band Vhf channels. The second issue is locating programming software. The Wouxun site does not list the software to program the KG-818 radio. On the plus side, the radio does fit comfortably in my hand and seems to be compact enough to fit into a jacket pocket.
