PRODUCT WORKS AS ADVERTISED. MAINTAINING 2 6V BATTERIES AT 13.1 VOLTS IN MY MOTORHOME WHILE STORED. THE KIT OFFERED BY AMAZON WAS A EARLIER VERSION,THE MFG NOW PROVIDES AN IMPROVED KIT THAT REQUIRES LESS SCREWS FOR ATTACHING THE TRIM SECTIONS. THE SUPERCEDED KIT REQUIRES AT LEAST 50 SCREWS TO SECURE THE TRIM SECTIONS. I ELECTED TO USE 10/32 NYLON STUD BASE PLATES TO SECURE THE SOLAR MAT AND TRIM SECTIONS TO THE MOTORHOME ROOF. THE LATEST KIT TRIM SECTIONS HAVE ADHESIVE BACKING AND USE FEWER SCREWS. THE SOLAR MAT HAS MC3 CONNECTIONS FOR ATTACHING THE CABLE TO THE MAT BUT THE CABLE HAS NO MC3 CONNECTORS. THE MFG REQUIRES THAT THE CONNECTORS TO BE CUT OFF AND USE THE PROVIDED WIRE NUTS. THIS COULD VOID THE WARRANTY OF THE SOLAR MAT. RECOMMEND VISITING A SOLAR STORE AND BUY THE MC3 CONNECTORS AND USE AWG 10 SPLICES FOR THE CABLE CONNECTION. THIS WAS THE ONLY ISSUES DURING THE INSTALATION. THE CHARGE CONTROLLER WORKS AS ADVERTISED. BEFORE I CONNECTED THE CABLE FROM THE SOLAR MAT TO THE CHARGE CONTROLLER I MEASURED 20 VDC. THE VOLTAGE PRODUCED IN THE SHADE OR OVERCAST SKIES WILL STILL MAINTAIN THE BATTERY CHARGING WITH MIMINAL LOAD USAGE. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
