I wanted a power adapter that didn't take up a lot of space and this certainly fits the bill. I particularly like the LED light, which is pleasantly unobtrusive. I didn't even realize it had one until I used it at night. Most adapters I've seen are obnoxiously bright and really hamper your night vision. It does a great job of charging my iPhone 4S I used a navigation app constantly on a 10 hour trip and it was always fully charged. Using the display all the time and the GPS on the phone can drain my battery in an hour off the charger.

This charger works just as expected. Haven't tried it on the IPod yet, but it charges the IPad. Not a quick charge, but it charges while you are on the road and for us it works just fine. For us, a car charger is really a sort of back up/emergency measure for those times when we are on the road and need to charge, so a slow charge works fine for us. I like the white light around the rim of the plug that lets you know that you have a connection. It is visible, now matter which way the plug is turned.

I have not had an issue with this charger. Had it for almost 2 weeks and it's not as flimsy as a couple of review mentioned. It charges extremely fast and more importantly, the quality is really great! I like the fact that you can unplug and place the usb right in to the computer as well. That's a neat feature and effecient to have. Lastly, Verizon sells the EXACT same product for 29.99.. Go AMAZON!!!! Thank you for being such a great competitior!!!
