I recommend this product if you're on the go and want to have an adapter with class.I've been able to replace all my different adapters for Europe, Asia and Middle East with just this one. It's a little pricey but well worth the money.I cannot bear to be without my USB charger/adapter when I leave for any trips. Even if it's a domestic trip, the travel adapter, along with USB attachments for conversion, are incredibly useful so that I don't have to pack a ton of extra chargers in my luggage. For instance, I can charge my phone and camera at the same time and not have to worry about bringing their separate chargers, just need the adapters so that they fit the USB on these chargers. I bought this on the plane, where it was certainly more expensive than it is here on Amazon so I would highly suggsest planning ahead to have this on you through an online order before your next trip. That way you can also save some money without having to buy at the duty free shops!I have a large bag full of plug adapters one trip Philippines, next Australia and Papua New Guinea, off to the UK, then Europe. What a pain! Overall works well, the xProDoc is a high quality unit that holds my Note II well in place, and after researching all available docks/holders for the Note II, The iBolt is the winner. The Note II stays in place with little or no vibration when driving.*The features are fantastic, but I would like to to see an added update where you as the owner can have the option to turn off the features that runs automatically: *the speed of your vehicle (MPH) and the *ongoing map location (live updating). I prefer a clean look on my cellular screen with not so much objects to read as you drive.
I also have the Galaxy SIII and purchased the iBolt Dock made specifcally for the cellular. Those simple and clean features that works for the Samsung GII cell, I would like to see-it duplicated on the xProDock as optional. Again, this XProDock is a nice quality made unit and works well.

Item arrived in seven days which is faster than promised. I found panel quality to be fine for the price paid of 72 dollars which includes the controller and free shipping. It was very easy to hook up and works great. I use the solar panel to keep a 12v deep cycle battery charged for my electric bear fence. I used to have to charge the battery every two or three weeks to be sure it was up to par. With the solar panel hooked up I get a stronger shock all the time because battery remains fully charged which give me peace of mind, and should extend the battery life. I will be buying one of these for every bee yard I have.
I would have given it 5 stars if they included easier mounting holes. I don't know why their aren't holes all the way through, and I am afriad I might break it if I drill some myself.

This puts out the specified power. What I don't like is the general cheap feel of the units. The frame seems a little flimsy and there is no bypass diode in the junction box on the back.Overall, it's OK, but next time I would buy a unit from Osprey-TalonI use this on top of my horse trailer to keep a battery charged. I use a marine battery to power the hydraulic ramp on my horse trailer and this solar panel does a fine job of keeping the battery juiced up.

This has been something that has moved from camping projects to automotive use and shown itself to be versatile and reliable.Originally, we hooked this up to a 12VDC motorcycle battery for camping use. The built-in 5VDC USB charger will operate off the battery as well as the solar panel, giving us a charger for mobile phones, and the battery recharged (under tree cover/partial shade) each day enough to operate LED lighting all night.
Since then, it's been used in a few unscientific electrical experimentation rigs, and adapted to provide a battery tender for a Geo Metro with a slightly weak alternator, and has been flawless in any application. (It's no replacement for a 120VAC-type battery charger, but it's enough to keep the car "startable" when its alternator wasn't *quite* pushing enough charge.) We've hooked this up to LED lighting, electric fans, and a number of other things.
On the (negligible) downside: the non-removable cable from the solar panel to the controller pack is quite long, but a little awkward in some applications (simply by virtue of being non-removeable), and the alligator clips are not the best, but are easily supplemented or replaced. (Driving a steel bolt through the existing clips provides a more permanent screw-on terminal once their springs wear out, without severely altering the device.)

It would have also been nice to have a battery "type" selector instead of every time you turn it on, you have to restart it and select the type of battery you are charging. Even with those complaints it is nicer than all the other chargers I tried.I own a Vector with 10/6/2 amp charging rates which I am extremely happy with, but forgot to bring it home from the lake place this Fall. I decided to purchase another charger & thought I'd try the 15 amp model. So far it is just as good as my other model, and has more charging and bad cell/battery identification capability. It seems to charge a battery faster than the 10 amp model.The product worked correctly for only one charge. I was very careful to disconnect from 120v source before removing cables and connecting cables before plugging it in just as the instructions stated. Charged battery perfectly the first time. The next time I used it , it stayed at whatever amperage you set it for and never decreased no matter how charged the battery was.I've had several chargers over the years, and this is by far the best I have ever used. When they say smart charger, they mean it!!
Had to charge the battery on my Honda Accord the other day and it worked flawless. I accidentally left the key on and the battery was completely dead. I selected 10 amp and it was fully charged in around 4 hours. It slowly lowered the amperage as the battery became charged until it was full.
The recondition feature on these B&D chargers is awesome. Used it on a Giant 4 cell 10 year old Caterpillar battery I had on my camp trailer. This allowed me to stretch one more year of life out of it.

That being said, there are a couple of quirks the user should be aware of. The % capacity display is not at all accurate. It will typically state that a battery is 95% full, then increase slowly until saying it is fully charged, and on maintaining. I used this with several 9Ah 12V batteries, and some 8.5Ah 6V batteries. All of these were tested before & after with a BK Precision 601 professional battery analyzer. The readings never agreed, but that is not necessarily a problem.

While the $400+ BK 601 is a great tool, it is not necessary to know the precise values of capacity, load and no-load voltage or internal resistance (unless you want to know these things of course!) If you are maintaining SLA batteries of a smaller capacity, say anywhere from 3 to 20Ah or so, just hook up the Schumacher and ignore the initial reading. If it says 95%, the capacity might be 80% or might be 45% (I saw readings higher and lower on the 601) No matter. Let the Schumacher charge until it says 'Fully Charged' or 'battery maintaining'. But do not stop charging just yet. At that point, the actual capacity might only be at 95 or 97% (as verified by the 601). Let it go another 15 minutes or half an hour. Then go ahead and disconnect. By that time, nearly all the batteries I tested were at the full 100% according to the BK 601.
If the battery is too far gone, the Schumacher will let you know. There are a few batteries here and there that will accept a charge from the Schumacher, but may not perform as well as new batteries. Outside of a professional analyzer, there is not much you can do about them. They will work, but may only have 90% or so of the charge. The Schumacher does as best as it can with them.
It also oworked well at auto-detecting 6V batteries. Very simple to use, and for easy operation and good performance, and a great price, I give it 5 stars. Just be aware of its limitations.

After receiving this gadget, I realize that I probably could have used the smaller SP2 unit, but now that I've had it a few weeks, I'm quite pleased with how it works.It is pretty large, but still only about a quarter the sise of a car charger. It's roughly the size of a brick, and has a big LED readout that tells you what it's doing readable from a good distance.
So far, I've only used the alligator clips for my motorcycle battery, but this also comes with a connector that you can attach permanently to the battery and has a simple connector to the charger cord. That means you don't have to remove the seat to hook up the charger. That seems pretty useful, and if I ever decide to unhook my battery and risk losing all the settings on my stereo, I'll install it.
I think something like this is essential in places that have a proper winter that keeps you from riding for weeks at a time.

I bought this battery "extender" to maintain the battery in my two-year-old, rarely-driven garage queen. When I first attached the unit, it said it was analyzing the battery, then reported that it was 5% charged, and proceeded to begin charging. The car had been sitting for three weeks, so I was not alarmed at the battery's condition. It has now been 48 hours, and display says the battery is at 91% charge, the same thing it said twelve hours ago. So either my like-new battery can no longer take a full charge, or this unit is flawed in some way.Other than this odd behavior, I like the SP3. It tells you what it's doing, takes up little space, and comes with a few different connection options.
One last thing. The manual that comes in the box is brief and omits information--like the connection options. I found a better copy online, but that should not be necessary.
Here is an update: after four days of charging (!), the unit finally switched over to "Maintaining", so all seems well.
