- 130 Watts of power, Patent Pending Made in USA Digital Charge Controller
- 7.5 Amps operating current, 13.8 - 17.2 V operating voltage, Adjustable tilt legs
- Motion Sensor Alarm, 4 different battery adapters, 15 foot cord
- Lead Acid, Gel and AGM battery compatible, Safety fuse, Built in Inclinometer
- Panel: 40"X20"X3.5", 36 lbs., Padded metal storage case: 41.3"X22.3"X5.3", 18 lbs.
I have three (130W) "economical" versions of these panels. What is offered here is the "professional" version of their 130W system. This is actually a nicer product than the economical version. The difference between the economical version and this version is a) inclometer (to check optimal sun angle), b) CEA Solar patented control charger (for blow by blow geek status updates :) and 3) theft-alarm deterrent system.
My version does not appear to be available on Amazon but is available from their website for about $645. ). As soon as the inverter arrives (A Samlex PST 200S 12A 2000 W Pure Sine Wave inverter), I will be running 390W Solar arrangement with the Samlex inverter and 4 Optima Yellow Top Dual Purpose AGM Batteries.
The reviews on their website are right on. Their customer service support is exemplary. They will NOT sell you what you don't need, and they give good advice about accompanying products. I chose to wait until my panels arrived to purchase the inverter, since I had heard horror stories about UPS guys and glass panels shipping with inverters.
Seriously, go to their website. Look at their products. Call Bob Nichols and ask him questions. Fill out their questionnaire to figure out your actual solar needs. These guys are cradle to grave merchants and I feel very secure that if any thing goes wrong they will work with me to find solutions.
Will post another review once everything is up and running, which should be very shortly.

These cables are a good value. They work well enough if you're attaching them to automotive battery terminals; however, the jaws don't close together far enough to bite onto motorcycle/powersports type terminals, which limits their versatility.Read Best Reviews of Coleman Cable 08566 6-Gauge Heavy-Duty Booster Cables (16 Feet) Here
After accidentally including my last set of jumper cables with the sale of my last car, I was in need of new ones! These are long and heavy duty probably overkill for my 1.4L engine, but if you needed to jump a truck, they would be great. The whole assembly is well put together, with good, solid connections from the handles to the cables. They have worked great on a hybrid Highlander and Chrysler 300 (co-worker left the dome light on in the company car...).
If you don't have a lot of space though, skip this set since they are not small.

Mine just arrived. I pulled it out of the box and am concerned that the cable crimp looks weak. I expect eventually I will have to fix it if it gets used much. Other than that it looks like it will do the job.I have not actually used these yet. I purchased them after having had need of them and not having any. The clamps are tight and cord is a good length. The only thing I don't like is that there is an opening under where you hold the clamps that has a bear wire on the other side. I am not sure if you would be able to touch it through the very small slit but it is something that I have kept in my mind. Over all pretty good quality. Not the kind you would use everyday.Belkin Car Charger with 8-Pin Lightning Cable Connector to USB Cable for Apple iPhone 5, iPad (4th G

- Ultra-compact
- Plugs into any car power outlet
- 10 Watts/2.1 Amp
- Includes separate 4 foot Lightning to USB cable
- Powered USB port
2.1 AMP OUTPUT: This ensures I have the maximum electrical output available. FYI: 2.1 amps multiplied by 5 Volts DC = 10.5 watts, but labels will only show 10 watts
COMPACT SIZE: This fits in a vehicle 12 volt socket well and protrudes only enough to get a good grip to pull it out with your fingers. Some products were unnecessarily long or bulky; I prefer simple.
REMOVABLE USB CORD: Instead of a hardwired connection, I have the versatility to swap out the Lightning cord with a USB to micro USB cord for my wife's phone or the USB to Apple 30-pin connector for the iPad. If you find nothing but the Apple OEM size of lightning connections fits with your phone case, you can buy this same item without the cord for less $ and use your own cord. Search: F8J051ttWHT (color white) or F8J051ttBLK (color black)
NO RING OF LIGHT: So many reviewers of products complained about the light ring feature being a distraction. This model features a simple round green LED light that is not much brighter than the console button lights in my car. I ended up twisting the light to the 3 o'clock position where the USB connector blocks my direct line-of sight to it. If I wanted to, a small piece of black electrical tape would cover the LED completely and easily since it is away from the USB connection. This is the 1 feature I valued to prefer it over the Belkin # F8J090bt04-BLK, which has the same power output and small form factor.
Is it cheap, no. But would I rather spend less and give up some these features.......no. I would have bought the version of this product less the 4' cord if a good coiled cord were available(I didn't like the Griffin coiled cord). Thanks for reading! The car charger I was using before this was the Kensington K39224US PowerBolt Micro Car Charger for iPad, iPhone and iPod, including iPhone 4. Since I upgraded to the iPhone 5, I only had to buy a Apple Lightning to USB Cable to keep using that one, which is 2.1 amps, like this one by Belkin.
After using the Belkin, I would say it is comparable to the Kensington charger, but it already comes with a Lightning to USB cable, so that may figure in one's comparison of their prices if one doesn't already have a cable.
In a 30 minute drive, my iPhone 5 increased in charge from 50% to 89% using the Belkin, for an average of 1.3% increase in charge per minute. This seems comparable to my former charger.
Either product is excellent, and the fact that they can charge any of the Apple products quickly, assuming you have the proper USB cables, is convenient. The iPhone wall outlet chargers are super-quick at charging. I have gone from 30% to 90% in about an hour. You get used to that kind of speed charging and this 2.1 AMP car charger give you exactly that! Initially, I scoffed at the price for these high AMP chargers and bought a 1 AMP car charger. Since my ride to work in less than 20 minutes, I would probably get 10% more charge off the 1 AMP charger, but with this 2.1 AMP charger, I manage to juice up about 25%. The really cool part of this charger is that I can pull out the USB cable and continue charging my phone via my laptop USB port.
The charger is well-designed and has a robust construction Apple worthy! The charger sits flush with my power outlet with just enough of it popping out to get an easy grip for removal. The charger does not have any edges, it blends well into the dash with only the distinctive green bezel being highlighted adds a little color to my drab dash. I also love the new low-profile negative (outer) terminal design. No more accidental snagging and ripping the terminal out of the charger. It also helps with a smoother insertion and removal from the power outlet.
The lightning connector is well designed and fits most cases without any issue (check images above)
Pros:
* Solid feel to the product. Well built and sturdy parts charger, cable and lightning connector
* Included USB Lightning cable
* Slim profile charger that sits flush and does not get in the way
* Fast charging almost as fast as a wall outlet charger. Approx 2.5 hours for a full charge
* Well designed lightning connector fits most cases without any issue
Cons:
* Pricey at $35 but not too expensive at current market rates for a 2.1 AMP charger with a reliable, detachable Lightning cable
* The charger has a Green LED that remains on when the charger is connected. It seems inefficient to power the gremlins. I have old USB car chargers that turn-off when a device is not plugged in, light up Red when charging and Green when fully charged I paid less than $10 for those chargers
* For a car, I prefer a coiled cable like this one, just keeps things compact Griffin Tech PowerJolt SE Coiled Lightning Car Charger for iPhone 5, Touch 5G, Nano 7GA great little charger. Here are the Pros and the one single Con:
Pros:
Charges Fast: 2.1 amps...speedy and powerful.
Compact: Much closer to flush on dashboard than other car chargers I've used.
Active Light: A little green light is on when the charger is receiving power, so you know it is active and charging if something is plugged in.
Lightning: Obviously this is a Lightning Cable connector, and it works as advertised with my iPhone 5. The Lightning end of the cable is nice and thin, not too thick like other non-Apple Lightning cables (such as the Amazon Basics version), so it fits through my narrow iPhone case opening with no problem.
Flexible Cable: The cable itself is nice and flexible, not too stiff or hard to manage. This is important given that you will be using this in the car and need as few additional hassles as possible.
Con:
Not Fully Backwards Compatible: This charger does not appear to be fully backwards compatible to all earlier (30-pin) iPods as advertised. Belkin claims "As long as you have the corresponding cable, you can use the charger with legacy 30-pin Apple devices." But this doesn't appear to be completely accurate. I base this on attempting to swap the Lightning cable for a USB 30-pin cable which I use with another Belkin charger and then attempting to charge my iPod Classic. It did not work, and that's a bummer. But I like this charger so much otherwise that I will not downrate it for this. However it would have been nice to use this charger with my iPod Classic. It is worth being aware of this if backwards compatibility is a necessary feature for you. It may well work with other 30-pin devices, so I'm still giving it 5 stars for what it does do, because it does it so well.
For the price and functionality this is a great Lightning Cable car charger. When the iphone 5 came out, my husband like many I am sure ran out and upgraded all of our 4's to 5's. Well...what he didn't realize is there were hardly any chargers or accessories available for the iphone 5 devices. So we have limped through many months without a car charger. It's been one of the most frustrating things about owning the new iphone. NO MORE! The Belkin Car Charger does the trick! This will charge Apple iphone 5's. 4th generation iPads, iPad mini, iPod Touch 5th generations, iPod nano 7th generations. Right now I only use it for my iPhone 5 in the car and it works perfectly. Highly recommend this product.

Here is my review of this product.
PROS:

-Blue indicator and charging LED
-Its automatic plug n play no switches to worry
-plug-in adapters for common phones and USB cable included

and will indicate remaining power.

I was so excited to get it but it sucks it will not charge my phone for longer then five minutes if I'm luckyIts size and packability is perfect. My only complaint is it cant be stored very long charged. Dont rely on it to be fully charged everytime you may have to depend on it with out checking it prior to leaving.I've tried to use this charger a few times, with no luck. The problem I wanted to be able to charge it, throw it in my bag and forget about it until I needed to use it. All the times I've tried to use it, the charge had magically drained away in the time I wasn't using it. If you remember to constantly charge this as a back up it might work, but as an emergency/once in a blue moon backup it's totally worthless.Goal Zero 14002 Guardian Silver 12V Charge Controller

Note that the maximum input wattage (from the banked Solar Panels) to this charger is 150 Watts, which means that, for example, the controller can handle five (5) Goal Zero 22003 Escape 30M Solar Panel Briefcase at one time. My review on the Panel Briefcase (and other Goal Zero products) is found elsewhere on these Amazon pages.
This unit is compact enough and self contained to include in your Go Bag, too. This completely new design works great (from late 2013-early 2013), does what I was looking for, in a nice compact, light unit that is reasonable in cost. They even have two input ports so both sizes of connectors from their solar panels work without having to have another adapter. The unit input and output wire connections are very tight and would seem to protect against moisture at the fittings. I use two of the Goal Zero briefcase solar 30w panels to keep my rugged outdoor support TrueNorth trailer's two 12v batts topped up, while camping in remote areas off the grid and away from regular campgrounds. The 4 stars is only due to the fact that I have not tested it over a long camping trip yet. If all works out, I will come back and upgrade to 5 stars.

Pros: Good Battery Life, Battery Charges Quickly (about 30 minutes), Lithium Ion, Ergonomic design, tremendous torque.
Cons: Compared to the two mentioned above, the gun does not feel as sturdy or solid as the other two. Also the placement and size of the directional switch is not very ideal.
*3/17/13-
I have received my Impact Gun back from Repair. The gun was just completely replaced. I am a very satisifed customer and would recommend the product highly. It's just as nice as they say it is. I haven't used any other cordless 1/2 impacts, but I've used the air versions of most (snap on, mac, matco, ingersoll). This thing will do anything the air versions will do. I pulled it out of the box and took a 1-1/2" lug nut off of a 22.5 bud rim on a tractor trailer without issue. That lug nut was installed with a 1" ingersoll air impact. You be the judge. Not having to run an air hose to achieve tremendous torque is a great time saver. It also greatly increases the versatility of the tool.I was on a budget and I needed big power right away. Buying a air compressor, hose, tools and such was out of the question. I'm glad I took the chance on this cordless. Changed my mind forever when it busted loose an AXLE NUT. For those that don't know, axle nuts are several more times difficult to break loose than lug nuts, especially on a rusted wheel. That nut actually ended up breaking two of my breaker bars. But it didn't stand a chance against this cordless impact. Best tool I ever bought.
Kensington 33164 Stereo Dock, Charger, and Transmitter for iPod, iPod Mini, iPod Nano, or iPod Photo

- Simultaneously charges your iPod in its cradle as it transmits your tunes in high quality
- Includes a handy infrared remote that lets you operate your iPod from up to 30 feet away
- Features five simple buttons for controlling your iPod, and a long-life battery
- Comes with everything you require to get running straight out of the box, including a power adapter
- Compatible with any iPod with a dock connector, and is backed by Kensington's 5-Year warranty
The one warning I have is to make sure you turn the "DOCK" volume all the way up using the supplied remote (the Kensington remote controls the dock and the ipod). After the volume of the DOCK (and Ipod) are all the way up, use the stereo remote to control your listening volume and for other stereo functions if desired. If you don't do this you may think you're not getting any volume/power from the stereo dock.
In short, it sounds great, looks good, and is perfect for my needs. Higly recommended. This has good quality sound and works great for my color 60GB Ipod but it has seperate volume adjustment for the DOCK! At first I thought it was broken because I couldnt get any volume out of the dock port. I read the review left by a previous poster that said the supplied remote controls volume for both the dock AND the ipod volume, he said make sure both are up all the way and then control the volume with your stereo but he didnt say how to adjust the volume on the dock. If your Ipod is docked the remote only controls the ipod volume. So before you insert the ipod aim the supplied remote at the dock and push the volume + button on the remote. It may seam like nothing is happening but this is adjusting the dock volume. Then once youve done this for a while and you're certain the volume is up all the way (there's no way of telling what the volume setting is so just do it for a while) Then plug your ipod in and push the volume + button to turn your ipod volume up. The manual doesnt say anything about this so I'm not giving it 5 stars but other than this strange volume setting is figured out it works great and looks good.I bought this item thinking it would work with my iPod, that's what the item discription says (iPod, iPod Mini, iPod Nano or iPod Photo). After receiving the item and hooking it up to my Onkyo receiver, the sound was terrible and the included remote did not work. I then further examined the instructions it stated that it was only compatible with: iPod Mini, 3rd generation iPod (15, 20, 40GB), 4th Generation iPod (20, 40GB), and iPod Photo 40GB.
My suggestion is if you have a 30GB or 60GB iPod, look elsewhere. The Kensington stereo dock, a nicely styled and engineered iPod accessory, conveniently does the double duty of connecting your digital music library to your stereo system while at home, and simultaneously recharging the iPod battery for the next outing. With the audio transfer through the dock connector, the sound quality is uncompromisingly excellent. One notable downside that I discovered is that with the earlier, non-clickwheel iPods, functionality of the Kensington's Remote Control is limited to volume adjustment.I got this for Christmas along with a Logitech Harmony 520 Universal Remote (5 STAR must have!!!). I had my iPod hooked up to my receiver with a simple y-cable (available anywhere) but if you do that a lot it becomes quite a pain to have to get up out of the chair to skip tracks, etc (I know lazy so-and-so!).
I was all set to return it as I couldn't hear it unless I plugged the cable directly into the iPod and bypassed the unit altogether which seemed like a waste! That is until I read the reviews here about adjusting the Kensington unit's volume by using the supplied remote controls volume up button without the iPod dockedWOW that did it!! Only comment is that you need to point the remote at the dock (with the iPod undocked) for about 30 seconds to ensure the volume is at max. Seems like a long time but works great when you then dock your iPod!! As mentioned in other reviews 4 out of 5 stars only because the only way you would figure this trick out is by reading the other customer reviews here!!
