I bought this to act as a DC to AC converter that could run off of a 9 volt battery. Worked well enough that I'm buying a second one. It will work fine in a car also, you just have to remember that it's meant for low current. If you are looking for a low power inverter that converts 12v DC to 110 AC, then look somewhere else. This is a scam. The box that I received this device in said DC to DC.

The DLO TransCast FM device seems like a great idea. It is small and packaged nicely. I thought I was getting a great deal at $20, but the device was intermittent and staticy from day one. After I gave up on it, I tore the device open and discovered a cracked solder joint on the socket where the power jack plugs in. Even though the root cause could have been a cold solder joint (manufacturing problem), I suspect failure was because the tiny socket wasn't mechanically secured. The problem with is with impedance. Yes, it works with my Zen MP3 player. No, it doesn't work with my ATT Tilt Cellphone. The problem is the impedance is different. The DLO wants low impedance..like for a typical headset. My cellphone puts out a high impedance to its headset.So, the issue can be resolved for $2.99. Go to Radio Shack and buy the 8 ohm-to-1000 ohm audio transformer. You'll need to do a little soldering, but it works. Why didn't they incorporate different impedanc einto the device? YOu can figure it cost more that way

I am a happy owner of this product -and I get excited, especially nowadays, when I come across such a great buy in a sea of mediocrity in electronics.The most important thing to note about this FM transmitter is that it uses the entire FM range. Also the product's web site features an "Open FM Frequency Finder" which finds unused FM stations by zip code or city/state. This free service makes this product even more dependable and is another plus in the manufacturer's favor. Google "digital lifestyle outfitters fm transmitter" to find the product's web site.
Note that most FM transmitters only use the high and low FM frequencies, which in areas like Washington DC are clogged with FM stations and no available FM frequencies. Using all frequencies is a feature usually only found in devices which cost quite a bit more than this one.
This FM transmitter scans the "even" FM frequencies as well (ie 96.0, 96.1, 96.2, ...), so if your car stereo scans these frequencies you're almost guaranteed to find a free FM frequency. Too bad it stops at 88.1 (my car's stereo goes all the way down to 87.7), but its not a big loss.
I've read all of the reviews for this product as of the time of this post, and I am dubious about the claims made in most of negative ones. I have owned this FM transmitter for close to three years now. Mine is still as good as new. In fact, when you factor in the car plug and rechargeable AAA battery, you'll probably agree that this is an absolutely excellent value for the price.
The company has been around for more than a few months too, which in this business is pretty amazing.
If you are budget conscious and demand quality for your money: stop surfing, buy this FM transmitter, and for goodness' sake, go to bed! As of the time of this posting, Amazon has some great prices for this FM transmitter. When you get yours in the mail and hook it up that first time, you will agree that it was great buy.

After about 5 years or so, the battery pack in my B&D CMM 1200 24V mower died. I live in Canada, and bought the mower at Home Depot, so I went there and they don't sell the replacement batteries. I went to the B&D website, and was redirected to DeWalt, (they merged), where I found their replacement batteries. They were around $150 plus shipping, and also stated "backordered". The cynic in me thinks that this is suspicious, since B&D just came out with that sexy new 36V mower, so maybe they aren't going to support the older 24V anymore--"Can't get a battery? Darn, better buy a new mower........" Anyway, I found these batteries after reading a mower blog (who knew there were mower blogs?). They work just fine. There have been some comments that the posts are different, and that is correct, but I didn't need to modify anything. The factory batteries in my mower didn't have external terminals, but rather had screw holes with the wires secured by screws which themselves formed the posts. These new batteries have two terminals with a bolt going through them as can be seen from the photos. So, the wires are held on with screws in both systems, but the screws face in slightly different directions. There may be different variations of this B&D mower, so maybe in some there isn't any slack in the wires, but in mine it worked just fine.So, if you can get them (maybe not anymore) the factory batteries will cost you about $150-$160 plus shipping, and two of these together were $82 shipped........ I don't know how long they will last, but even if they only last a year or two, I still didn't have to spend over $400 for a new mower yet! I had to pay some brokerage fees to bring the batteries into Canada, but would have had to with the factory battery as well, so it all comes out in the wash.

The title of this review says it all.This arrived timely, and was EXACTLY the battery I needed to replace one in a booster pack.
Good thing, because there was about 1-2 mm tolerance on each side of the space into which it had to fit.
One "down-side" kept me from giving it a five star rating -the packaging wasn't "robust" enough (especially for a lead-acid battery) and there was a resulting crack in the battery case.
The crack was NOT in such a position as to cause the battery to leak acid -but it might easily have been.
Hey, seller: I'd be willing to pay a buck or two more for more substantial packaging!

Additional info: The iPhone had a screen protector on it. When I unplugged it in the morning, the edge of the screen protector seemed to have come off a little on its own. I see this as a clue that perhaps the external battery unit had somehow made the iPhone overheat. Perhaps this excessive heat is what rendered the iPhone nonfunctional.
Bottom line: This cheap Chinese-made device apparently bricked my iPhone. I'm surprised that 15 minutes of Googling around hasn't turned up any similar experiences with this device, so maybe this was just a bad-luck fluke. YMMV.

I purchased this at a kiosk in the local mall. It is a great tool, compact and easy to use. It just plugs into your charging cord and doesn't take long to charge. I love this thing. It allows me to hook up an underwater video camera, tiny TV, and my phone charger all at once on my boat. The only issue I have is that the area gets pretty crowded. My TV plug is a box plug, making it difficult to plug in the USB cord and lighter adapter. If all your plugs are straight, you'll be fine. It's got a built in cooling fan, as well. Fits nicely into my boats cup holder and the cord is long enough to go to my lighter outlet.I highly recommend this.

Overall, it looks to me like this impact wrench might be outdated compared with what's out there today. Most of today's cordless impacts are variable speed. You have MUCH better control with variable speed, especially when you are trying to put nuts back on. With this Makita wrench, soon as you hit the trigger, it goes full speed.
The wrench seems somewhat powerful, but I found a couple of (maybe frozen?) lugnuts this guy could not take off. It was on a '03 Corolla (I think using 21 mm nuts), which is not even close to a tank. I don't know if the car's lugnuts were put on by impact guns before at a shop, but I had no problems with any of the other lugnuts on that car.
My other gripe about this wrench is the size and weight. I did some specs comparisons of the latest cordless impacts out there today (i.e. Milwaukee 2663-22, IR W360P, and Craftsman c3 19.2 cordless impact wrench) and the Makita is the longest as well as heaviest of the bunch. When you read the Makita product description, they mention how the tool is compact and light. I'm guessing it's when comparing it to electric impact wrenches at the time the tool came out. Those electric impacts are much heavier and bigger. But now today's latest cordless impacts are more compact and lighter than this Makita. Check out the specs for the 3 other wrenches I had mentioned and see for yourself.
I actually got the Craftsman c3 19.2 impact wrench with the lithium ion batteries to try out and honestly, I like it much better than the Makita. It has variable speed, is smaller, lighter, much cheaper, and feels just as powerful as the Makita even though it only has a rating of 200 ft lbs of torque. I did some tests like tightening a lugnut to 150 ft lbs and trying both the Makita and Craftsman on it. Both wrenches zipped off the nut very easily. When removing a standard 80 ft lb torqued nut on my Honda Civic, it really seemed like the Craftsman zipped them off easier compared to the Makita. I don't know if they overstated the torque on the Makita or understated it on the Craftsman, but both wrenches seem just as powerful, however the Craftsman felt a bit stronger. Though that is just going by my observation and feeling, so there is no scientific facts or hard numbers to prove it. I don't know if this is because the Craftsman has a faster IPM (impacts per minute) compared with the Makita. Anyway, since I only need an impact gun for my cars at home (I'm never going to working on big machinery), the Craftsman seems plenty powerful enough for me.
I will say the Makita LXT series has good batteries and chargers so if you already have an investment in them, maybe you have no choice but to go with this tool if you need something with more torque. I ended up returning the tool because of the cons, but I'm hoping Makita is working on some next generation high torque cordless impact that will address all the shortfalls I mentioned. As of now, I am sticking with the Craftsman I bought.

I bought this to replace my Dewalt heavy duty impact wrench 18v XRP set. I got sick and tired of everytime I needed it the batteries were dead. Right from the start I have been extremely impressed with this tool, the power is great, I have been working on vehicles and farm equipment for more then 40 years I used this to remove the 2 1/2" blade holding nuts from a large bush hog rusted and pacted with debris, it is hard to believe how fast and efficient this tool is. It is stronger then my previous air impact wrenches and much handier out in the field. Too bad I cannot give it more then 5 stars because it deserves it. 12V Police Motorcycle
Bought this for my 2.5 year old. He is crazy about motorcycles.Although it has 3 wheels, the little guy falls over on it a lot. My 4 year old does pretty good on it but he falls over sometimes too. As long as you have some straight away real estate to work with it is good. Transitioning from the sidewalk to the grass is an adventure. Any kind of elevation drop makes the bike unstable.
I had to remove the windshield because the kids kept hitting their face on it when they would start and then stop.
The bike runs well. Pretty good speed in hi.
Battery lasts for a good while. The sirens can get annoying as the kids tend to not turn them off.
Careful with installing the mirrors. The screws will break through the plastic clamps. Recommend doing those without a drill and not torquing them too much at all.

This motorcycle was my twin sons' dream. However, it has been nothing but a nightmare since it has arrived. Assembly was difficult and design inferior. First off I bought two of these for my twins on Dec 5 2012 from seller Amazon LLC. I finally received my package on December 20th. The problem was that Amazon only sent me one but was happy to charge me for two. Customer service was nice and issued refund but obviously didn't care about the fact they just ruined Christmas for two 5 year olds that only asked for this one gift. I want to thank QVC who was able to order, ship and deliver by Dec 24th.My kids woke up Christmas Day to two motorcycles and loved them.
The only problem I have had so far is that my daughter crashed and hi-speed forward didn't work thereafter. I quickly figured out that it blew out the fuse. I replaced it and she was off chasing bad guys again.
