This thing is mostly excellent as well as cheap. The signal is strong. The usb charger works. The only major problem is that the flexible support that hold the phone up won't really stay in place. Eventually, I found a position in which my phone stayed, but it was a hassle to get it there. The FM frequency is also a little more limited than my last FM transmitter.

Have not completely tested this yet. But be aware it will not charge an iphone from the USB port. This is because an Iphone requires 2V on both data lines to make the phone charge as well as the 5V and ground that it provides. (Thats really an Apple problem not Bestek, Apple likes to make it hard for others to make Iphone accessories). Not sure that the USB port will charge a Kindle but it looks as though it does but you get no indication that the Kindle is charging other than the battery level indicator rises. the mount works great and that is the main reason i bought this... its to bad that the charger did not work very well and i think that it is already broke when it arrived... but i bought this package for the mount and it works well... dont buy for the charger lol

I searched all over the internet to find an unbiased review of the Genisys EVO I never found one. I did find many positive reviews for the Genisys but you can also see that these "reviews" were from Genisys dealers. I'm a professional technician I've had the luxury of using dealership level diagnostic equipment (mainly BMW) I worked at a couple independents where they were equiped (again with dealer level, BMW GT-1's), Autologic and Launch scanners. For BMW, nothing beats the GT-1. Autologic comes very close, except it costs about $17,000 and you have to buy each manufacturer's software for huge $$$. I found the Launch to be spotty at best when trying to communicate with the cars. We had the old version of the x431, big, clunky and slow. Ive used the genisys scan tools for a while now and i find that this product is well worth the money. I have used it mord for fords mainly when ids was not available and managed to diag problem very easily. Im not much of a european guy, dont like fidling with cars worth more than me so i cant say much as to how it performs in that area. I would recomend this tool for almost any one. It very easy to use if you have any common sence and pretty reliable.

This works great, and it's something you need if you want to charge your iPod on the road. You can charge in the car, or from any wall outlet... you don't need to be near your computer. I use this often and it is great. With the included mini-USB cable you can charge other things that charge from a computer's USB port and with the parts that you either plug into the wall or car power-port you can charge anything that you plug into your computer's USB port (if you have the cable). It has been great and it would be good for anyone that has the need.
