I'm writing this review because the Amazon description doesn't inform you that you NEED 15 amps to power the device as clearly stated in the owner's manual. Unfortunately, I didn't know this before purchase so when I plugged it into my Honda Pilot which only supplies 10 amps, it didn't work. I called Slime customer service who confirmed that all their products require 15 amps.

Check your car owner's manual to make sure your power socket supplies 15 amps!

I'm giving it 5 stars because the device itself looks very high quality with a nice storage case. Slime customer service was also speedy and helpful. Too bad the Amazon item description was inadequate.

UPDATE: I have since bought the Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator which works great with my car.

This pump is far and away superior to a cheaper unit I had been using. I like the coiled air hose and its screw-on connector to the tires and its quick-disconnect connector to the pump. Also, the pump-mounted switches are more substantial than the switch on my old pump, which was on the power cord and had to be replaced. As noted by others, the fabric carrying case does fit the unit snugly, but I've had no difficulty removing or replacing the pump or air hose in the case.

This 'heavy duty' inflator failed after only a few uses. It was typically very slow to inflate my car's tires, but would eventually fill them to the required pressure. At one point, my tire was very low on pressure and the Slime inflator managed to bring it up to pressure after several minutes. After that, however, the unit no longer worked.

Also, for me, having the unit powered by the car's power socket, and not having a 110V alternative, was inconvenient.

I would not buy this unit again.

The Slime tire inflator is exactly what I wanted. I was seeking durability, portability and affordability. I got all three. The inflator is built much better than most tire inflators in the same price range. It is very portable, even including a handy case so it can be stowed neatly in the trunk. For me, the price was right as well.

I added five pounds pressure to each of my Toyota Corolla tires after receiving the unit. Within two to three minutes the additional pressure was reached. Inflating a flat tire may take up to 10 minutes, but that time is much better than using a hand pump!

The Slime also includes additional attachments for basketballs, beach balls, and other inflatables. The tire attachment screws on the valve, which I much prefer over the common clip.

I recommend this product highly -I don't believe you'll be disappointed if you are seeking an affordable, portable tire inflator!

Battery for SeaDoo Seascooter Dolphin Battery ZS2B ZS4B

I bought this as a backup for a Sea Doo Dolphin Sea Scooter. I have yet to use it, as the original battery has worked fine and I have not needed a replacement while the other charged. The problem I have with the battery is that it does not have the same prongs to fit directly inyo the scooter, so you can't just switch batteries while one charges without completely dismantling the original. As such it is somewhat useless until I need to actually replace the battery.

The battery appears to be fine but it shouldn't reference the Seascooter name it if doesn't have the connectors to be used with one. I emailed the seller asking about them but received no response. Be careful to know this before ordering anything.

So far I am impressed with this charger.

Pros:

Operation is simple, cool to the touch, and essentially silent. The charging cycles are relatively quick, the unit is very compact (much more so than the picture implies about the size of a small purse), this charger is approved for the Odyssey line of "dry" cell AGM batteries (see the Odyssey website), and it charges more than the Odyssey line of batteries (unlike the Odyssey branded chargers that are very expensive).

Cons:

Limited charging capability (8 Amps), no digital display for battery parameters (% charged, volts, Amps etc.).

For note: I would have purchased one of the larger chargers in the SOLAR line if one of the larger chargers was on the Odyssey approved charger list. This is the only reason I rated this at 4 stars.

Nevertheless, I highly recommend this charger.

I have an Odyssey battery that requires a special charger that is approved by the company. I tried an Odyssey OMAX-12A-1B charger and liked it except that the cooling fan runs constantly and is annoyingly loud. I returned it and found out that this charger is approved by Odyssey. It's also about $25 cheaper, too. This charger, unlike the OMAX-12A-1B, can also charge other non AGM batteries, so that's another plus over the OMAX.

I've had my charger for about six months, and it works well. I'm hoping it will keep my Odyssey battery well conditioned, but time will tell. I killed my first Odyssey battery when I naively used a Sears trickle charger on it.

Added this to 4watt bruton panels to get more umph for my solar project for a cabin. Have them charging 2 interstate marine batteries that run a 400 watt cobra inverter for small charging and lighting. Dont want to go too large, then the idea of being disconnected is gone. Will be installing this set up soon and will have pics and additional reviews after.

I work in the solar industry but we only deal with larger panels for homes and bushiness. I bought this little panel to keep my deep cycle battery in my camper topped off when I'm camping. It is a nice looking all black panel and seems to be well built. The voltage and current readings seemed to be within spec according to my multimeter and overall I'm very happy with it. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the junction box wiring in the back is a little cheap looking and might require some service if the wires are tugged. The panel is also a very nice small size which is great for taking in your car or RV. Compare the dimensions of this crystalline silicon panel to amorphous versions of the same wattage crystalline silicon is still much more efficient. There is some debate about whether the amorphous products produce better with partial shading or in low light but I'm not convinced by those arguments.

I was looking for the equivalent to Garmin dashboard mount to be used with my new TomTom 1535 GPS.

Comparison between two will not be in favor to iKross for two reasons: it is bulky (very, very bulky!) and the quality of parts including materials are cheap. It smells like some automobile part just being lubricated with machine oil, but... it works!

It is heavy and stands like a rock on a dashboard. I even managed to keep it on some sort of a pedestal originally designed for GPS in my Honda Accord car. Four "legs" of a thing appeared to be so flexible that I managed to place one of it almost vertically thus saving a room and because of that was able to fit that not that big space.

Overall it is useful but Garmin holder is engineered much better I would have to admit. It takes much less time to install the GPS on it. Here you need to adjust the size of a mount to hold your GPS, slide out bottom holders to prevent your valuable device to fall down and if it is Tomtom you need to think what to do with the sucking cup attached to device. You cannot detach the thing so you need to slightly open it and put behind the iKross holder. While with Garmin you just push the spherical mount of a holder against of a cable connector and GPS will be sitting tight and secure on the mount.

Resume: solid, useful, not expensive, but bulky and not very convenient.

Though if you are Tomtom user this can be your best choice.

It is a good mount. It pretty much does what it is supposed to do, but the clamps that hold the device arent that tight and makes it very easy to fumble it when trying to put it in or take it out. It sometimes slides out if you are trying to push a button on the sly while driving. So 90% of the time it is just fine, but it irks me just enough to say it is ok.

I suspect that this was an automatic attempt to condition the battery. A DieHard 71227 charger (Schumacher makes the DieHard 71227 charger) did the same thing. After three discharge cycles, it stoped doing the "high-voltage treatment". Also, in AGM mode it went to 15.5 volts briefly during one of the 40 amp cycles. Since the Garmin I ordered comes with a car charger and it can be charged through the supplied USB cable when connected to a computer I personally would not recommend ordering this item and would not do so again. The cables are great but not really required.

I have been using this for a week now, and it's pretty decent, especially for not being specifically designed for the Droid DNA. The suction cup sticks to my windshield as it should (have not tried the sticky mounting pad). The grip is spring-loaded and the inside of the grips are padded, but not as non-skid as I was hoping they would be, but the phone hasn't fallen out yet. Minor quibbles, but otherwise works well.

Quality construction, suction cup is super strong. Holds any device very snug. Five stars! I had an actual HTC brand mount for my old phone and this mount stays on the window better.

The holder works very well, it holds my phone securely (which was my biggest worry) without being "too" tight. The swivel action is nice and makes it very easy to position my phone for easy viewing. Its low profile makes it perfect for dash mounting without obstructing your field of vision. I haven't tried windshield mounting the holder yet.

The only complaint is when removing the phone, you either need to use to hand or be fast to prevent the phone from popping out and falling. The instructions tell you to hold your thumb on the plate beside the phone and use your finger(s) to push the phone forward until it comes free. That works but because the tension on the phone is via springs, when the phone comes out the holder snaps back into place which can launch the phone if you're not careful. You either need to use both hands or be fast to prevent the phone from popping out and falling. I'm sure it will be easier after I get used to it more and it's a minor concern just something to be aware of.

Over all the holder works wonderfully and does exactly what I want it to do, hold the phone while I'm driving.

I replaced my 2005 Honda 400 AT's battery (Yuasa YTX14-BS) with this battery. Fits perfectly; charged, ready to go out of the box. I received this as a gift and I have to say this is prob the best gift I ever received. I bought a used car a year ago and after I bought it I realized that where they installed the cd player they had to take out the cigarette lighter/car charging station. You wouldn't think you'd need this for so much. I couldn't use my GPS for long trips, if my cell died I had to wait till I got home, and my MP3 player was a big no-no since it used a lot of battery life. This little thing charges all of that plus my childrens 3ds and PSP. I even use it in my house to save on the electric bill. It might not be a big money saver but it does help and I figure if I'm ever lost or stuck on a deserted island my MP3 player will always be charged.
