Bought this because I lost the original USB cord to my ipod Touch. When purchasing this, I assumed the USB cord would sync new songs and charge, but only charges the iPod/iPhone. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known it wasn't going to sync the newly purchased songs. It goes to show, you get what you pay for.

Yes this is a cheap item. The Wall Charger does work as it suppose to.

However the Car Charger is not compatible with the IPhone or Ipod Touch. I dont think I have a defective car charger since it works with my old IPod 3rd Generation. I get an error saying that Charging is not supported with this accessory.

I know this company is not the only one having this problem. However they should not claim it works, when it dont. Still not a bad price for a wall charging unit....which is the only reason why it got 2 stars.

Its funny on the site it says compatible with Ipod Touch, and on the packaging it only says compatible with Iphone 3G. I should be the same regardless. My guess this is some old car charge left over from the old Ipod days that is still running on 12v and not supplying 5v like the new ipod and iphones require.

My main reason for purchasing this product was to add to my total puchases so i would get free shipping. However, i am extremely happy with this product. It will keep your ipod working for about as long as the ad claims it will (unlike apple's ipod battery claims. It's really small, about 1/2 a centimeter bigger on each side than a 9volt battery. It's so small that i just chuck it in my bag and forget about it until my ipod shuts off because i forgot to charge it, and then i praise the fact that it's there. I bought this item when my ipod mini decided to get a brain and shut off at random times claiming dead battery. Plugged the tune juice into the dock port, and voila! Music for hours and hours..The 9-volt battery is a little wierd, but if it works, it works. The size is great though, unlike another product *ahem* Belkin, it can fit pretty much where ever you store your ipod and take it out when you need it. I never leave home without it now.

The Griffin Tune Juice is an accessory for your iPod that extends the playing life of the iPod. It runs on a 9v battery and connects to the iPod via the docking port. The Juice Tune extends the playing time of your iPod for up to 4 hours, making it convenient for those long flights we often have to take or camping trips. I have also used the Belkin Backup Battery Pack for iPod w/ Dock Connector. The Belkin product uses 4 AA batteries and has suction cups that actually connect the pack to the iPod. It also has 4 LEDs that lets you know the battery power still remaining. It provides up to 15 hours of extra play time.

I find the Belkin product better for my circumstances for a number of reasons. Although there is an initial high cost ($59.99 vs. $19.99), in the long run getting 15 hours of 4 AA batteries vs 5 hours from 1 9V battery is more economical. I also like how the Belkin Battery Pack attaches to the iPod itself. It becomes one integrated unit instead of 2 components attached to each other by a cord. The battery life indicator on the Belkin is a very convenient benefit also.

If you are concerned about weight and only need a few extra hours the Griffin Tune Juice may be a better product, but for my uses the Belkin fits the bill.

Having received this item as a gift, I decided to do a few tests with it and my ipod video 30gb. First I ran a movie, medium sound volume, on my ipod alone with it fully charged. It lasted 137 minutes (2 hours, 17 min.). Then I *fully* recharged the ipod and plugged it into the TuneJuice with a brand new 9v. On the same set of movies, it lasted 202 minutes (3 hours, 22 minutes). So you'd get about an hour of extra power. Not bad for the price.

However, there are some things to consider. This is a one shot deal: when the ipod battery runs out, you will not be able to use the TuneJuice to recharge it. The 9v is not powerful enough to run the ipod by itself, and so the ipod will be draining both the TuneJuice and its own battery simultaneously. The ipod battery will drain faster than the 9v and run out before it.

The next day, we tested the 9v we used and it was still good. So you will be able to use the same 9v more than once.

So bottom line: in order to get the full use of the TuneJuice, you have to plug it in when the ipod battery is fully charged. Once the ipod's battery runs out, which it will, the TuneJuice is useless no matter how many 9v batteries you have with you or how charged they are. You will have to recharge your ipod battery.

It's good, then, if you only need your ipod video to last that extra hour and no longer.

For anybody who has a video ipod (I have the 30g model), this is a must if you want to watch videos on your ipod and your travel time is likely to take more than 2 hours.

I also carry an extra 9v battery, just in case.

I've had absolutely no problems with this unit and use it constantly on planes.

After some research I found this radio very intriguing and purchased it. It had a high rating and a must buy through a sailing web site. Being into sea kayaking it is very important that the radios we use are water proof. Having the floating feature along with the burp feature is a plus then along comes the blue tooth capability, I was sold. I couldn't wait to get my radio. First day out on the water I want to see how well it floated and check out the burp feature. Well it floated great to bad it quite working with in a minute of being dunked. I emailed and called cobra and no response I called cobra again and talked to a live person who transferred me to factory service where I left a massage. No response. I called again and found out the return procedures and sent the radio back at my expense. Now I am willing to say that not everything comes out the way it should and that I was unlucky and got a defective radio. Well two weeks later I get a new radio. What do you do when you have a problem with a product? You go test it and see if it will fail in those conditions again. Well radio number two failed at being water proof to the JIS7 rating. This radio lasted a few seconds longer then the first one. Played the phone tag game again with Cobra. This time I made them pay for shipping so I had to wait another week for the label to make it to me. Sent radio number two in and three weeks later I received radio number three. So far this radio has lived up to the JIS7 water proof rating. I like the features it has. But I am just wondering if and when it will quit on me, if it does I am requesting my money back from Cobra, three times and you are out! Cobra could have done a better job communicating and calling me back. I never got a letter of apology about two radios being bad and I had to do all the work on trying to get the radios returned only once did they call back and that was after I left a message saying that I was not impressed with their product or customer service.

I purchased this radio for using on my Security job, and it is fantastic. It offers the most features for a great price, amazing range, crystal clear voice communications, and since it's lightweight and waterproof, it's not a burden to carry around. Since I'm on search and rescues periodically on a lake, the bluetooth feature is nice, as I can leave my phone securely in its pelican case and not have to worry about the radio getting wet.

All in all, this is hands down the BEST marine radio I've owned.

(I've used 4 or 5 other kinds at work, and eventually got this one for myself to make my life easier, and it was well worth every penny. I'd do it again in a heartbeat)

I have been using this radio for just under a year now. About 4 months ago I noticed that I was not able to transmit like I should, but I figured the range was just being interfered with by something. I use this in a kayak so I'm always sitting really low to the water. Today I went to my buddy's dive shop and tested this radio next to his. I could not hear anything coming through on his radio from mine. After doing everything I could think of to get it to work, with no success, I decided to open it up. Now, you aren't supposed to do this, but I did anyway. Upon opening it up I discovered that the entire circut board was covered in corosion. Waterproof? Hardly. Submersible? I wouldn't. You would be just as well off spending less money on a radio that doesn't advertise itself as waterproof, and keeping it in a dry bag or something. $100 dollars down the drain! Also, the bluetooth function never really worked like it should. I got it to pair with my phone ONCE. It never paired again after that. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!

This starter pack is useful if you have a car that sits a lot, and you cannot use a float/trickle charger (like at an apartment). I telecommute most of the time, so my car battery does not get charged much by the alternator. I noticed that the battery in my car was no longer zippy (starts up fast when the battery is good), so I bought this starter pack to supplement the car battery. I would use it multiple times before I recharged the pack. The car battery eventually became severely damaged (interior lights were completely dead) due to lack of use/charge and this pack started the car up on the first try so I could get to Sears.

Stanley recommends that this pack be charged every month, regardless if it is used or not. After the purchase of a new car battery, the jump pack sat in my car for a while, but still held a charge. It was able to start the car of a stranded motorist after not being charged for weeks.

Note that this starter pack cannot run a tire pump from the cigarette lighter outlet as the amp draw is limited to .5amp. Get a different unit if you plan on using it for this purpose. The LED light is quite dim, but better than nothing when you are on the side of the road without a flashlight.

Buy a short extension cord to charge this jump starter, as it does not come with one.

I am rating this unit at three as I am not sure yet if it is defective, or just not very worthwhile. I bought it about a month ago, and charged it fully as was recommended in the directions. A week later, I had the "opportunity" to use it and it failed to jump start my neighbors riding lawn mower. The battery on the unit did not did not hold a charge. I put a charge on it again, and will see if it holds this time. I should think a week between charging and using should not render the battery so weak as to not start a little lawn mower!

I just love this charger for my 20G origional Ipod. It looks great, and is super compact which I love. It is very small, has lots of frequencies to choose from (important if you live in a big city with powerful broadcasts on most available frequencies), has a cool light that lets you know it is working, charges the iPod while you listen and really has no drawbacks. If I had to pick one out, it would be that the cable attaches to the lighter plug from the side so in some cars where the lighter / accessory outlet is tough to get too, you may find the plug to be a tight fit. My first radio. I got it with the programming cable and downloaded CHIRP to program the radio. With out that, I've heard programming it by hand is difficult. But I haven't needed to attempt that yet.

The radio is excellent in quality, feel, sound, and function. I've had it for a few weeks and I'm still learning more and more things that it can do. The dual scan function is a great feature.

The battery life is phenomenal! Follow the instructions on the first charge, as well as the subsequent 3-5 charges, and you will be very pleased with its impressive battery life. I can monitor stations virtually non-stop for three days or so, listening to conversations as they come up on the local repeaters. I have the battery save function set to 1:4, which is recommended to have a balance between battery duration and listening sensitivity. I have not yet talked on this radio to measure the battery life when receiving and transmitting, but I would assume it will still be impressive, although shorter than when only receiving (which is to be expected).

Overall, you can't beat this price for the quality, functions, and abilities of this radio.

I've never been really happy with this unit from the very start. Inflating car tires is extremely slow, slower than my manual pump. It can handle high pressures but not because it is strong but because it does not push much air through. For bicycle racing tubes of 90+ psi it really struggled too. The only time I used the jump start function it failed. Soon after one of the clamps broke. And couple days back, the motor burned out while pumping the first of four car tires. Two instead of 1 star really just because it survived 4 years of very light use and the price was not bad. I am going for a pricier studier unit next time.

I've also carried this around in my trunk for several months. When I needed it, it still had a charge. I really like knowing I can air up a car tire if necessary as well. Plus, there are boat towables, air mattresses, etc., that it will come in handy for. Since it's portable, I can also take it down to the boat if needed.

I haven't used this device to jump-start a car, but I have used the air compressor to fill my car tires. Here was the result: 1) the hose is only about 12" long, so if the tire stem(s) on your car is near the top of the wheel when you park, the hose won't reach without setting the compressor on a block. (I used a gallon paint can). The other options for this issue are a) move your car to reposition the stem(s) or b) hand lift/support the compressor while it's in operation. 2) seating the hose valve onto the tire stem wasn't too bad, but once each tire was inflated, removing the hose from the tire stems was a chore & required both hands. 3) the air compressor is pretty loud, which isn't that big of a deal, but the unit really vibrates & will 'walk' unless you anchor it with your foot or hand while it's running. If you don't, you risk damaging the hose connection or possibly even your tire stem. Summing up; the RoadPro air compressor does work, but it's not exactly an elegant piece of equipment. **REVIEW UPDATE** My original review pertained to the pump component of the RoadPro only. This update includes the jump-start component. I recently went out to my car to be greeted by a completely discharged battery. I hadn't re-charged the RoadPro since purchasing it over 2 months ago, but the manufacturer claims it will hold a charge, without use, for 2 months. So I hooked it up & turned the key. THE RESULT: the charger worked like a champ & the car's motor started on the first try. Therefore, I'd say the RoadPro deserves 5 stars for jump-starting and 3 stars for pumping air, or, 4 stars on average. Plus, it fits pretty well in the rear foot-well of my car where it won't be tempted to roll around. The RoadPro is definitely looking like a keeper!

What I was planning to do with it:

Jump start a small vehicle (900cc motorcycle)

Inflate vehicle tires

After five months of use:

Jump starting a vehicle: Poor. No go. Power was enough to slow crank the engine, but couldn't get it started. This was a mid-sized motorcycle, 900cc, with 12V battery. Emergency charger dropped about three inches and the clamp broke (see construction).

Tire inflator: About average speed and noise for battery operated inflators.

I have no real complaints about itIt did it's job.

Construction: Poor. The battery casing itself seems sturdy enough with for the price paid. However the jumper cable clamps are not well designed or constructed. Clamps are a cheaply molded plastic with riveted copper teeth. In more expensive sets, copper clamps are covered with insulation, though not in this case. In other words, this is not designed to last very long.

Overall: If you're looking for something that will last you more than a year to eighteen months, find something else.

I bought this mostly for work. I drive around as a service tech and get calls on the road quite a bit. Considering I have two phones, one bussiness and one personal, this works great because I can sync both phones to it!! It states to have an 8 hour talk time which works great for a busy day or lenghty call while on the road. So for 24 buck this is perfect! The speaker is loud enough to hear, and I have no problems people hearing me on the other end. The only negative I can think of is that the connection for charging isn't the mirco USB my phones and most things are. Its slightly larger, but the end that plugs into the 12v outlet does detach for a standard USB, so it can plug right in with the dual charger I use. I love it for what I need!!!

Everything that was listed what there and in perfect condition. It arrived the exact same day it was supposed to and the only extra things I had to buy to complete the set was a deep cycle marine battery and a 50 ft. MC4 Solarline 2 cable. All in all it was worth the money and I am now running the household appliances I use the most often for at least 8 hours a day for free. It will be longer as soon as I build a stand for the panels. I ordered this product because my husband travels out of town, and is in his car more than he is home. It was very inexpensive and I just got it so he'd be able to use it until he had the time off to get a better one. Well, about a day after he used it (and LOVED it) It stopped working. Then it would work perfect. Then it would stop. It is a vicious cycle, and I would 100% recomend not getting this, unless you like playing the lottery with your car chargers..

Amazon prices are unbelieveable. I priced the same car charger and Amazon prices are about 75% cheaper. Thanks Amazon for being there.

Arkon Deluxe Windshield Dashboard Mount for HTC Thunderbolt - Bulk Packaging - Black

I bought this mount hoping it would fit my HTC Thunderbolt with the wireless charging cover on it. The cover makes the phone a bit thicker in one spot and subsequently made my official car dock from Verizon/HTC unusable.

This dock fits the phone with the extra thickness perfectly. It almost looks like they accounted for that if you look at the little groove in the picture. I'm not sure, but this dock might even hold the Thunderbolt with the extended battery cover (which makes it ever thicker in the same spot).

The dock was easy to set up and the phone locks securely into place. It's very easy to adjust the position of the phone and unlike a lot of docks it holds it securely without wobble. Only downside is that it doesn't dock it into charging like the Verizon one, but the port is unblocked so you merely have to plug it in.

So hard to find accessories for phones after they're no longer sold... the folks at the Verizon store looked at me like I was crazy for asking for accessories for a phone that was a year old... how dare I expect that my phone wouldn't be obsolete in a year.

I've tried universal mounts for other phones in the past, and have always been unhappy with them... was ecstatic to actually find one designed specifically for the thunderbolt. Thank you Arkon I had been looking for months.

It works EXTREMELY well, and I have the extended battery. It's a very snug fit with the extended battery, but it does fit, and it's ROCK solid. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

The mount seems VERY well made... several previous mounts of had felt very cheap, and indeed cracked or broke in fairly short order. This one feels solid, and leads me to believe it's going to last a while.

Broke the small arm that holds the phone within first few uses so not very well build would not recomend this.

For the price, I felt like this was an incredibly good product for my phone. It held my Thunderbolt perfectly, allowed access to phone buttons and micro USB port, and suction cup never came off the windshield. I accidentally bought two of them, and instead of returning the 2nd one I decided to just keep one in each car since they worked great and were a very reasonable price. I have since upgraded my Thunderbolt to a Galaxy SIII and would very much like to buy another mount for my new phone from Arkon.

This product performs great charging in the car. I leave it plugged in the car, that way I don't forgrt it. I also tested the Essential wall charging kit against the one that came with golf buddy platium and it works better and faster. It took forever with the original charger and never seemed to charge fully. The Essentail kit fixed this issue. Great Product.

Probably did not need this combo. Have not need the car charger and the outlet charger is a duplicate to what came with the unit. The nice feature is Gomadic sent the wrong tips the first time so they only had to send the correct tips for a fix.

well ive had this for about a year now. i absolutely love it. definitely is not a replacement for a high torque air impact wrench. but will definitely get most jobs done. takes care of most everything under the hood except for head bolts or crank pulley bolts and the like, nor will it break loose a properly torqued lug nut. 90 percent of the work that i do, this impact definitely does the job.

Some reviewers mention lack of sufficient torque while others say the tool is quite powerful. I almost hadn't noticed but wanted to warn other readers that amazon is using the same reviews for the BTW450 and BTW253 impact wrenches. The 235 is rated for about half the torque of the 450, so they're very different tools in that respect.

First off let me say that I wished makita would have come out w this gun sooner. It would have saved me $200 from buying my snap-on gun. I've used makita electric gun before and loved it. Never would have traded it in for a snap on gun if makita would have designed a better way to attach the battery on my 14.4v gun. But I digress, so far this gun is waaaaay lighter, more compact and stronger than my snap on gun. What more could u ask for? I know there are some reviewer that says its not as strong as the air gun but hey who's planning on taking crank pulley bolts off? Use the right tool for the job and get it done more efficiently. Look at the tool box of professional mechanics these days and u will see an electric gun in there somewhere. I now use this gun 90% of the time while I'm at work turning wrenches. Why deal w the hassle of dragging air hoses around?

I use this at the track to change wheels on my car. The wheel nuts are torqued to 80 lb/ft. The tool breaks them loose fine after about 2 seconds. Quality of the makita tools are really nice, better than the Dewalt tools I also own. Love the LED. I don't like the size of the makita charging station and mine is already making an awful sound while charging (the fan I believe.

Excellent product, I use this instead of an air impact when working on my motorcycles. Saves the noise of the compressor as well as the electricity. Very rarely do I have to bring out the 1/2 drive impact.
