The charger does not have indication of the charging status. There is an amp meter window. I started to charge a low battery but the amp meter pointed to zero amp for a long time. I began to wonder if the charger even worked. After a few hours charging I went to back to check and saw the indicator pointed to near 3 amps. After disconnecting the charger I measured the battery. The battery had no voltage could be detected before charging and now it registered at 12 volts. Obviously the charger worked. It would be nice if the charger had LED to indicate the status of the charging process.

I bought this Stanley battery charger after buying one of their jump starters and this thing is just as good as their jumper. It is super easy to use. All I had to do was hook it up to my battery, plug it in the wall socket and push the button to start charging. I didn't have to select my battery type or anything. This Stanley automotive stuff is awesome!Read Best Reviews of Stanley BC6809 6/8 Amp Automatic Battery Charger Here
I wanted a small safe & easy to use charger to recharge the emergency jump starters I keep in my vehicles. I was too lazy to search for the different wall warts and charge them regularly. And my car's battery needs a top off in the winter also because I don't drive any long distances.Got this Stanley charger a couple weeks ago (a few bucks cheaper at a local store than on Amazon). Topped off my jumpers and car very nicely. The cig connector worked just like it is designed to.
Last night my neighbor sat listening to his radio while waiting for his teenage daughter to get ready and killed his battery. The Turbo didn't work the first time after about five minutes of charge. I made a better connection with the kinda small clamps and gave it the full Turbo 15 minutes and it started right up.
My research showed that any stronger charger isn't needed for a home user. This one is always safe at 6 amp, and the Turbo will give a bit more omph when it's needed.

works real well charging my 12 volt motorcycle battery. Has enough amps and volts. Very user friendly. I would recommend it for similar usesI'm very impressed with this charger/maintainer. It is extremely easy to use and feels very solid and the cables are plenty long for almost any situation. I use this to maintain my lawn tractor battery over the winter and it does a great job maintaining, but I have also used it to charge a dead battery. Very happy with the product and was able to get one from a local big box for $29.Travel Voltage Converter Transformer 50-1600 Watt Kit with Worldwide Socket Plug Adapters- Step Down
- Converts 220/240-volt Electricity to 110/120-volt power for use in locations world-wide
- Includes 5 adapters for different plug-in types around the world
- 1600W - Designed for heat-related (resistive) appliances like hair dryers, irons, heating pads, etc
- 50W - Designed for small electronics such as battery charger, phone charger, shavers, mp3 players..
- Fuse Protection, Travel Case, Small and compact size - weighs only 1.5 lbs! size: 6" x 4" x 3" Travel converters are not designed for continuous use.
This product is actually two different converters built into one package. At LOW setting, it uses a small AC transformer to convert 220V sinusoidal waveform into 110V sinusoidal waveform. This is the preferred approach which works well for any low-power electronic appliance. One obvious limitation is that the appliance's power consumption must be under 50W (most laptop computer's AC adapters are rated for 90W or higher, by the way). If you connect a higher-power appliance to this converter, the transformer's iron core will become saturated. This results in runaway input current, which may then cause smoke or even fire.
At HIGH (1600 Watt) setting, the converter simply uses an electronic switch to 'chop' the 220V sinusoidal input voltage into smaller segments, such that the average power delivered to output load is reduced. This is the same principle used by most incandescent lamp dimmers. It works reasonably well for simple HEATING appliances, such as travel irons or hair dryers. But if you try to power any electronic appliance that is rated for 110V-only at this setting, the high-voltage stress will likely cause the appliance to break down and burn out within seconds! (The product manual did warn that "DO NOT USE other electronics or items with electronic chips and circuits on 1600 watt setting." So the manufacturer is not liable in case of damage)
This is not to say that this product is completely useless, only that you have to be EXTREMELY careful about what you can plug in at each setting. Unfortunately, some appliances fall into the grey area between 'heating' and 'electronic'. For example, most people will classify a curling iron (hair straightener) as a heating appliance. Yet it contains electronic circuit and its power consumption is higher than 50W, which means neither high nor low settings can be used.
The good news is that most portable electronics (such as chargers for cameras, cell phones, laptops, etc) are already designed to handle universal input voltage. Check the AC adapter of your appliance to make sure. If it says "Input: 100 240V AC", then you don't have to use a voltage converter at all. All you need is a set of adapter plugs (such as the Travel Smart Polarized Adapter Plug 5 Piece Set), which allows you to physically plug into AC outlets in other countries, and you are good to go.Used this in Peru. The many outlet plugs came in real handy as each hotel has it's own outlet style. The transformer itself is a little bit heavy so depending on where the outlet is there is sometimes a need to brace the transformer or the article your plugging into it with something. All in all this voltage transformer works fantastically and feels like a quality piece. I don't think you'll find a better transformer for the money.Surprised when package arrived. Didn't expect it to be so heavy but it worked like a charm. Came with a nice carrying case. Plan on doing a lot of international traveling and will be happy to have it with us.My Nexus 7 cannot be charged directly on the 220v current in the UK. I was told by a Nexus 7 customer service representative that a step-down voltage converter could be used safely. This voltage converter did the job on a recent visit to the UK.Got if for our trip to St. Martin, so haven't used it yet. Seems like a nice deal with its compact case and variety of plugs.

Original:
I have only been using this for a few days, maybe a week, so I can't speak to the longevity of it yet (I'll update this review if anything is noteworthy). However, what I can say is that it fulfills my iphone sync cable needs. By this, I mean that it successfully charges and syncs my phone. Nothing special. But that's good cables are meant to be in the background, they are most successful at what they do if they go unnoticed. When do you notice a cable? When it stops working, or if it breaks something that's attached to it, or if it does something weird. This one is totally boring, which is great. I mean, the color is super-cute, but that's about as exciting as a cable's going to get.
Some off-brand iphone cables have weird buttons and clasps on the end that plugs into the phone (the not-USB end), making the entire plastic end-piece much larger, which can sometimes make it difficult to use docks and stands that require you to provide your own sync cable. This one is not one of those it looks exactly like the picture.

We own a few radios but this is the best one yet. The audio clarity is great! Flashlight is a cool addition and the fact that it charges through mini-usb. I hated those bulky chargers, never liked carrying those along and never understood why they would not do the same as they do for their cellphones. This product is better than I had expected. I have used this type of two-way radio before with poor reception but these Motorola's far exceed what is posted on the website. I purchased 6 for my organization to use while on outings and so far there have been no issues, even when we get far apart. I am not quite sure about the 35 mile range...maybe on the flat eastern plains of Colorado...not in the city though. Overall, a great product and they do what we need them to!Want Motorola MT352TPR Giant FRS Weatherproof Two-Way - 35 Mile Radio Triple Pack - Silver Discount?
These things are amazing. They really feel heavy duty and feel like they could take a good hit. I haven't tried breaking them, yet; that's for next week. The belt clip feels flimsy, but appears to hold up pretty well. The emergency weather radio function is neat, but not useful for me. The flash light should have been brighter, but will do when it's really dark out. The batteries already come charged and ready to use. If you're a frequent user of these, I recommend the desktop cradle charger as the mini USB port can be obnoxious. The only other SLIGHTLY obnoxious problem is the 1/2 second transmission delay when pressing the talk button. Unless everyone who uses these is made aware, the first word or two of the transmission will be lost. Not a deal breaker, since I'm guessing all 2-way radios like these have this problem. These are awesome. If you have line-of-sight, the signal is crystal-clear at well over 10 miles. If either person is inside, the range is more like 1-2 miles.

You can also get a 3600 MaH battery for under $20. Now that is what I call a deal. As a side note, Amazon is a great place to buy it from because they stand behind what they sell. Clarion VX409 6.5-Inch Double-DIN Multimedia Station with Touch-Panel Control Station
- AM/FM radio, DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3/WMA receiver
- 4 x 40 Watts maximum power with six channels of preamp output
- 6.5-inch QVGA color TFT LCD with 480 x 234 resolution
- Includes AV input/output; easily add iPod direct control, Bluetooth, SAT radio, navigation system
- One year warranty
The good:
-It has a good amount of power. I ran this to my stock speakers and they sounded much, much better than they did with the factory receiver.
-Good build quality. The physical unit feels well made. Mechanical flip face works smoothly, buttons and volume dial feel solid.
-It's cheap.
The bad:
-iPod integration is terrible. There is no way to easily scroll through artists/albums etc. You have to click an arrow to flip through each individual entry. This is OK if you have a couple albums on a nano, but not OK if you plan to connect an iPod with a large library. Finding an artist beginning with 'N' took close to 100 clicks with my full 120GB iPod classic. And if you want to go from Nelly to Nirvana, you have to start all over from 'A' again.
-Poor screen resolution. Font edges are jagged.
-No dimmer. It has a dimmer connection wire, but it did not work on my unit. The screen was at full brightness at all times, and the manual dimmer control did not work either. At night it was like having a spotlight in my dash.
-Restarts between sources. Every time you change sources, the entire unit restarts. Screen shuts off then on and everything. It doesn't take too long, 3-4 seconds maybe, but it is rather odd and obnoxious. I took the whole thing out to check for a loose connection when it first happened. Called Clarion about it and they said it is normal operation.
-Navigation. The specs list this unit as being compatible with an optional navigation unit. However, the only input for the navigation unit is a component video connection. So if you were to connect navigation, the VX409 would only serve as a monitor, and you would not have touch screen control of anything.
Overall, the actual physical unit could be quite nice. However the software feels like going back to using Windows 95.
Buy Clarion VX409 6.5-Inch Double-DIN Multimedia Station with Touch-Panel Control Station Now
The VX409 is a great unit, but for the price, you'd think you would get a lot more. The Positives:
-The unit makes your factory speakers sound way better. I installed it in a 2000 Honda Accord and had no idea that my speakers could sound that good.
-The motorized fold down screen is awesome. It looks good and is very smooth when it flips down. I expected it to be jerky or sound labored (like other units I've seen) but it simply works and works well. The touch screen responds well to touch whether the weather outside is cold or hot. Also, when the screen is cold, it doesn't lag like I've seen in other units.
-The EQ controls are as easy or as complicated as you want them to be. It's a good unit for beginners or for higher-level installation.
The Negatives
-The software is awful. There is no room for any customization other than sound (which I guess is what really matters, but other things are nice). Another problem is that any time you change from one interface to another, the unit does a small reboot. So if I change from watching a DVD to listening to the radio, I push the mode button and wait for it to reboot into "A/V Input", then through "iPod" and then finally to radio. It takes a while to get to anything because of the constant rebooting.
-The settings menu seems to be its own program on this unit. That is a problem when you're listening to music and then you have to adjust the sound, so you exit the music (which stops playing at that point), boot up into the settings menu, change your settings, then enter back into your music and check the settings. The whole process should be integrated but it's not. Changing and checking one setting takes about 2 minutes due to rebooting.
-Due to legalities, this unit will not play DVDs while the vehicle is moving. They do this by requiring you to hook up a wire to your parking brake. I don't have a problem with this except that I bought this unit so I could send the video signal back to TV headrests for long trips with my kids. This can't be done without buying a small "cheat box" that gives your unit a false parking brake signal and making it work. This of course makes your unit operate in an illegal way and can get you a huge ticket in some states.
-For the love of God, don't set a security password on this thing. Brand new, out of the box, I put a security password on it. It was the same password I use on EVERYTHING so I know it wasn't user error. Long story short, the unit locked me out after three attempts, went into a 24-hour lock out mode, then gave me three more chances to get it right, then went into a permanent lock out mode. After 2 weeks of wresting with Clarion customer service, the whole unit had to be reset.
I love this unit now that I have worked all of the kinks out using aftermarket products and cheat boxes but I don't think I should have to do that after spending $600 on a product. There are tons of units out there from companies who have learned to integrate all programs to work together and also integrate your portable music. This particular Clarion unit has failed to do that. I recommend finding a unit that does.I've owned this unit for a few years now and just wanted to say it's been great! It's not the flashiest around but gets the job done.
Want Clarion VX409 6.5-Inch Double-DIN Multimedia Station with Touch-Panel Control Station Discount?
For the price of this unit, there are far better choices that the vx409. Despite the fact that the unit has added features that you may purchase such a IPOD adapter, bluetooth adapter, and navigation. The controls for these options seems like an after-thought, meant to push more units out the door and make it sound feature rich. The add-ons offer little in terms of seemless user interface. The unit takes a good 3 seconds when switching between different sources, even more when it is trying to decide if the CD you put in is actually a dvd, cd, or mp3s. There are 4 EQ selections and the only changes you can make is the fader, bass, and trebble.PROS
It looks nice and the buttons have a nice tactile feel
Smooth operation
Display is bright and crisp
CONS
LCD touch screen loses sensitivity even after calibration
Title text is limited to a few characters.
Delays when switching between sources
User interface is counter intuitive
Add-on modules are not tightly integrated
CD/DVD take forever to load
Lacks features for the price.Very nice stereo, would be nicer if the instructions included were clearer and made more sense but they don't. I don't beleve I can use this stereo to it's fullest potential because of this fact. It has noce features but needs a usb port and sd card slot to be complete. Not very customisable. That is all it really lacks to be complete. Put it short this is just another stereo and nothing spectacular...... Easy installation for the mechanically inclined...

My wife and I use the radios when we are caravaning on drives with our car club and they have been very useful. One member missed a turnoff when he didn't see us turn and we were able to re-direct him, otherwise we probably would not have seen him until the end of the day.
Another consideration in making a purchase of a two-way radio is the number and type of accessories, we wound up spending as much on accessories as we did on the radios: arm holsters, earphone/ microphone combination for easier hands free operation when driving a car and rechargeable batteries and chargers.

I have a set of these 2 way radios and they are excellant. My wife and I use these when we go to the mall,or when we go on a trip with another couple using 2 cars. My dad and I also use these on our 120 acre farm. When driving in cars reception is good up to a mile.
When using outside around hills reception range seems to be around .7 to a mile.
When using outside in ideal conditions (flat land, a way from power lines) reception seems to be around 1.8 to 2.2 miles.
This unit is small and fits in the palm of your hand. These units uses AA batteries which lasts up to 30 hours.

I am currently in Bosnia, as part of a peacekeeping mission here in the Balkans. I purchased two Talkabouts to play around with while here, and was so impressed with their performance that my unit has purchased several more. We currently use them in the majority of our missions, as we have found that, with a two mile PLUS range, these radios are ten times more practical than the military-bought bulky radios, which, in average, are not as dependable as the Talkabout. We have enough to carry around with us, and know a convenient product when we see it. A great buy.Want Motorola Talkabout T280 2-Mile 14-Channel Two-Way Radio (Baltic Purple) Discount?
I've been very happy with my older talkabouts for skiing & backpacking. With this newer radio, it works just as well, I'm saving 2 ounces, and it fits better in a parka pocket. The review signed by "Dissapointed" which says that the radios are buzzy at short range fails to note that these radios aren't supposed to be used at close range (the manual does note that there is excessive interference within 5 feet, but I've found that there's extra noise within up to 50 feet), so for fun-with-kidz type uses, a cheap Radio Shack radio might well be a better choice. This Talkabout is the best choice for outdoor rec uses though. The only problem is that too many people are using them at ski areas now, so sometimes we've had to switch channels/codes.I bought a pair of motorola FR50's recently and the range is great. These work just as great as a pair of Talkabout's can, but they were much cheaper. They are very small, lightweight, and have just as many channels. The only difference between the FR50's and the Talkabout's are minor extras like VOX and scan feature. Most people don't need those. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some money.Cobra XRS9370 High Performance Radar/Laser Detector with 360 Degree Protection

Buy Cobra XRS9370 High Performance Radar/Laser Detector with 360 Degree Protection Now
I received this new Cobra 9370 radar detector a little over a week ago. I own another one that is a little cheaper than this that also does a good job. But this Cobra model is not only more sensitive and brings the driver a better alert earlier from any direction, but it is also loaded with features that can be tailored made to any kind of area or terrain. At first I was a little intimidated by all the functions and features of this model. There is really is not much more one could ask for options on a radar detector. However thanks to a well laid out instruction booklet and a user friendly button system, it took me really no time at all to customize this baby for whatever driving situation I was in.I tested this unit both in my town here and on the highway for several days. This being the Fall season the police around here are not all that diligent in the stationary radar on the side of the road, but I did run into some. In each instance the distance between my being received effectively by the patrol car and my being signaled by the detector of his presence was excellent. So far in advance as a matter of fact that each time I silenced the audio part of the alarm just because it went on so long. (It has both audible and visual detection options on it, among many other settings. You can set it to auto mute if you like). One kind of radar detection device that is always in vogue however is the so called rolling radar on the police cars themselves, and the new laser units. No matter where I was, I was alerted each and every time a cop was in the area from any direction, without fail. Not one time while this detector was active was I surprised by a police cars appearance. Which of course has the added advantage of saving you from a lot more infractions than just the cost of a speeding ticket. And pretty much gone are the days when garage door openers and automatic doors on store fronts had you hitting the break pedal way too often. The sensitivity adjustment on this seems to take care of false alerts in a city or congested environment where we tend not to speed anyway. It wasn't altogether foolproof. A few motion detectors and such did have it emitting a false alarm here and there. But I have always found it easy to differentiate between an alert being genuine radar, and just a door opening somewhere. The alert when its radar is loud, steady and unbroken in most cases. False alarms are frequently intermittent and last only for a second or two. In any event I was very pleased with it's performance in that respect. And it is also my opinion that this detector performed better than satisfactory in the majority of tests in city and country areas that I was able to throw at it. About the only thing I can say I didn't like about this model isn't really about the detector at all, but with its included dash mount, which is really nothing more than a thick piece of velcro. You have a choice of mounting this unit either on an included suction cup attachment for the windshield, or on the dash with the velcro strip. The windshield mount is the way to go for it to be secure for sure. It sticks firmly to the glass and the detector can be detached from the mount with just a click of a button. Not only do you need a perfectly flat surface on your dash for the other mount to be secure, (rare these days on most modern cars) but even on a flat dash it's not all that supportive. Go with the windshield mount for sure.
In conclusion, I have owned a variety of radar detectors over the years. Starting way back when they used to be available in a kit that you put together yourself, (and never seem to work no matter how well you did the job). This latest Cobra model has to easily be one of the best and most accurate for the price, with a variety of features to suit anyone, of any I have used. There are more expensive radar detectors to be sure. And in the interest of fairness I have to admit I have never owned a really high priced model. But given the performance of this Cobra 9370, I would imagine that the only person that would need something any better than this is someone really bent on breaking the speed laws at their leisure. For the average driving Joe ,I highly recommend this super Cobra 9370. Very good performance and features at a really fair price...I can remember the last radar detector I had was a Cobra. They sure have come a long ways since the long strip of red lights that would increase in increments when a signal was detected. The Cobra XRS 9970G is all digital, full color touch screen and has an easy to read display. Gives you 360 degrees of protection. The voice alerts are a plus to let you know if you are being targeted. Measurements are approximately 5 x 3 And weighs about 7 ounces. There are so many features in this little piece of equipment. The extra features I find the most helpful is the GPS Locator, the low battery warning and the speed indicator. We have a rebuilt 1984 Mustang drag car that is street legal and the speedometer is not accurate. Using the speed indicator on the radar detector has been extremely helpful to monitor our speeds. With so many features and options, you will need to play around with it to feature out how to set the features and display to your needs. The Cobra XRS 9970G offers false recognition detection but it still goes off whenever I pass certain banks, municipalities or building with some kind of security system. It does not happen all the time but I have come accustomed of knowing which buildings and areas will give me a false detection.
At first I was confused after reading about the AURA Database feature in the manual, but after doing some searching on Cobra's website I found out that AURA stands for Advanced Universal Road Alert.
Description quote from Cobra's website:
"It warns drivers of thousands of driving threats that could cause unintended traffic violations as well as accidents. The result is that AURA-equipped drivers have heightened situational awareness--extra help to know what's around them, and what's ahead. The AURA database stores GPS coordinates of speed and red-light cameras and driving hazards. Users can access this database online and download daily updates onto various devices. One such device is a GPS locator (a USB flash drive) that connects to various AURA-compatible units and synchronizes the database to the device for the most current driving hazard warnings. Given the rate at which new photo enforcement cameras are being installed, providing daily updates is critical to providing motorists with the most reliable protection possible."
The AURA database covers all of the United States.
The AURA Database is nice feature to have at no cost since it is sold as an ad-on for older units/inexpensive models for $99.95 for 12 months plus $29.95 per year after the first year. With the Cobra XRS 9970G it is a LIFETIME subscription at no charge. It is not a very difficult procedure to do. All you need is to have a computer with internet connection. Register your product on Cobra's website.
** Make sure you input the serial number on the GPS Locator and not the serial number of the radar detector.** You will see on the menu an option to "update my data". Follow the easy to install directions. Make sure you download the program prior to connecting the GPS drive in the computer. After the first initial install, all you have to do is plug the "included" USB adapter cable to the GPS Locater Unit and insert it to a USB slot on computer, it will automatically update. It states they are constantly adding more speed traps and cameras so it would be a good idea to update on a regular basis.
NOTE it is Windows 7 compatible, which is what I use.
The only negative things I can say about this unit is that the 12V DC power plug could be a tad bit longer and that I wish it came with an optional longer tilt/adjustable mounting bracket. I would of preferred to place the unit in the middle of the dash by placing the windshield suction cups on a mounting disc plate (like the ones used with navigation systems). However, you can adhere the unit on your dashboard with the enclosed double-sided tape. Since the lip of the display screen overhangs, you will have to mount it with the display hanging off the edge of the dash. If you prefer to mount the unit to your windshield, it comes with two small suctions cups attached to a small bendable bracket. When I tested to see how the unit would sit on my windshield of my SUV I found that the weight of the unit caused it to droop downward even after I adjusted the bracket's angle. I believe it was because the windshield in my SUV (Dodge Durango) is very slanted. Also since the suctions cups are small, they kept coming "unstuck". If it offered one big suction cup, I think the hold would be much stronger.
Some states do not allow items to be adhered to the windshield, verify what your state's regulations are. It is banned from using radar detectors in the state of Virginia and it's even illegal to have them in your vehicle. In New York State it is prohibited in motor vehicles weighing over 18,000 pounds or commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds.
UPDATE: I found the perfect dash mount to use with the Cobra XRS 9970G the Radar Detector Car Dash and Windshield Mount. This offers more flexibility in how you want to mount the unit. The large suction cup keeps it securely in place and it even comes with a double-sided tape dash mount plate.

The Cobra XRS-9570 is, in fact, a great radar detector that doesn't break the wallet. I don't know what's wrong with many of the folks who give terrible reviews of these things but clearly they probably didn't read the instructions. This is a RADAR DETECTOR, thus, it needs a clear, level line of site (although I've seen some nice Valentine's that don't need to be level to work phenomenally, ie. motorcycle on-dash ones). The range of this Cobra series works really well. I've had maybe 1-2 false alarms in the past 2 months of using this due to X alerts from automatic doors on businesses located just off the highway. Other than that, I've seen nothing but great results. Over hills, from a distance, and 360 degrees ... I am very impressed with this radar detector. In fact I was alerted to a Ka just over a hill and sure enough, there was a sly officer hanging out in a great spot (of course I wasn't speeding so I didn't worry... heh). I have mine mounted towards the bottom of my front windshield. It is just above the wiper blades and has a line of site out the rear of the vehicle just above the back seats of my SUV (Honda CR-V).Furthermore, this radar detector comes with 1-press mute button, and is able to be programmable to shut down during low-RPM movement which is a headache-saver during slow traffic in the city.
The only problem I had was with the mounting/suction cups. However, I installed these in the middle of winter so I had to use warm water on the cups to make them more bendable. Once they weren't basically frozen, they attached to the windshield just fine. The metal bracket that holds the radar detector works very well and is sturdy (the detector doesn't shake much when driving over bumpy roads). I do suggest to take OFF the detector to bend the bracket if it isn't level (this is also in the instructions... it's super easy).
So, in conclusion I highly recommend the Cobra XRS-9570. It isn't ungodly expensive, its range is great, and the adjustabilities (volume, detection, speed-shut down), make this a great detector. Please don't listen to the person who haphazardly gave this a 0 star review with terrible grammar. Read the easy instructions that come with this detector and you'll very much like it.I bought this radar detector less than a month ago as a replacement for the Cobra R9G that I fried when trying to connect using hard wire (don't ask me why the fuse didn't protect it)
Below are the pros and cons from the less than a month time that I used this radar detector:
Pros:
Compact and slick design, looks great!
Great range, it warned me about a mile away on highways and way before I even saw the cops.
Easy to hear sound and easy to read display.
Good holding suction cups.
Cons:
Lots of false alerts: Even in City mode, I tries all kinds of different combinations and nothing seemed to stop the false alerts.
Unit overheats: I noticed that the unit gets really hot while using, not sure if that will shorten the life or not.
Compass seems to loose focus sometimes, even after calibrating.
IntelliMute feature didn't seem to hear my Honda Accord engine rev! As it was in mute the whole time I had it plugged in (even after setting up the right rev)
I had to return the device as it had a broken power adapter and the unit kept going offline because of that, when I tried another adapter, everything worked fine, but unfortunately, Amazon doesn't replace individual parts.
Hope this helps!
