After dealing with the "Non-Customer" Service at Neuton Mowers, I went to Amazon and looked up Batteries for Neuton Mowers. Amazon does not offer them anymore BUT, there was a guy who stated that he bought two of these and replaced the "guts" of his Neuton Battery case. FOR 1/2 THE PRICE OF WHAT NEUTON CHARGES!!! This was brilliant and at 1/2 the price a "no brainer".I immediately went to my dead Neuton battery and removed two screws, pulled out the two 12V-10aH batteries inside the case. Left it as it was (did not unplug anything so I could copy it when the new ones arrived) and went in to order two of these through Amazon. They came in a about 4 days, I pulled them out of the box, went to the old battery, unplugged the old connections and plugged them into the new batteries. Put the two screws back on the door to the battery case and plugged it in to charge. VOILA!!! Ready to mow with a new battery for 1/2 the price I would have paid if I had ordered it from Neuton! By the way, it was 1/2 the price with S&H included!!
Neuton may suck but, the guy who wrote that review on Amazon that helped me save 1/2 my money is a righteous dude!!!
Took the old batteries to Radio Shack for recycling!!

The Good: Great for infrequent travel, you don't have to charge it, you can buy batteries at any store, its cheap ($20 vs $60+).
The Bad: It takes one (1) set of Energizer Advanced Lithium AAA at $6.99 or two (2) sets of alkaline at $5.99 (Duracell AAA) to charge an iPhone 3Gs from 20% to 90%. (I've done two days of careful testing to arrive at these numbers)
As you can see, there's a benefit to a rechargeable battery system for frequent fliers, and a lot of convenience with this product for infrequent users or for people who need an "always ready" emergency top off solution.

Or maybe I have a lemon -but what can go wrong?My TuneJuice has *maybe* a 10-minute effect on my iPhone (when I can measure any effect at all), and I've tried at least four sets of alkalines and several passes with rechargeables. In fact, I tried so many combinations that it was too late to return the thing to our Apple Store.
For what it's worth, I accidentally bought a battery extender from Ryobi (thinking it was their flashlight they look a lot alike)... I think it was $20, but you also need a battery ($12) and charger too, but the Ryobi has not only given me excellent results (hours, without running low) but even charged up my iPhone. (And btw: the Ryobi flashlight, which I did end up getting, is by far the best LED flashlight I've ever seen -lights up the fence across the street.)

I bought this product (from BestBuy) to charge my iPhone 4 with rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. It included 3 non-rechargeable alkaline batteries that worked fine out of the box. I only tried them for a minute or two to test that the unit worked. I tested with several sets of fully charged NiMH rechargeable batteries and was unable to get the iPhone to begin charging. Rechargeable batteries put out a lower voltage than conventional alkaline batteries.I ended up returning it, and getting the Tekkeon TekCharge MP1550 (on Amazon) instead: Tekkeon TekCharge MP1550 and am very happy with it.

It's great, good size, handy, portable and lightweight. I think it's a great product but I think that it really doesn't work well with the iPhone. It takes 4 AAA batteries but they get used up very quickly and doesn't charge as much in comparison to when I used it to charge my iPod. It lasts a long time for my iPod and nearly charges the battery to full. I suggest you don't buy it to charge an iPhone but it works well with other products.

Have not completely tested this yet. But be aware it will not charge an iphone from the USB port. This is because an Iphone requires 2V on both data lines to make the phone charge as well as the 5V and ground that it provides. (Thats really an Apple problem not Bestek, Apple likes to make it hard for others to make Iphone accessories). Not sure that the USB port will charge a Kindle but it looks as though it does but you get no indication that the Kindle is charging other than the battery level indicator rises. half the time the plugs didn't fit in outlets and if they did it still didn't work. It would also be nice if the list of countries it is suppose to work in were in the description. After buying it I saw that it wouldn't work in Chile but I kept it because I was also going to Argentina and it was suppose to work there. It didn't work in Argentina either.

Straightforward product, does its job well. One small issue is the cable is not very long. So, for my trunk mounted battery, I cant bring the meter all the way to the dash to see it. I set it on the trunklid and was able to view it in the rear view mirror, reversed, but still understandable. It takes the guesswork out of diagnosing the charging system and battery state.

I wanted: a) bluetooth so that I can use the phone in the car, b) USB-input so that I could load up a memory stick with as much music as would fit, and c) a back-up camera (since the units I liked had screens anyway). I didn't want or need navigation, don't really care about HD or satellite radio, or anything that requires yet another monthly subscription to something.
The Pioneer AVH-X2500BT fit everything I wanted it to do. It's more intuitive than the single-DIN unit in our other car. I was able to figure out most of its features without resorting to the manual. The volume controls and forward/back track/radio advancing buttons take a little getting used to, but took just a couple of days to master. The bluetooth was very easy to set up, and works great. Playing CDs is a snap. Customizing the display to match my car's interior lighting (orange) was cool. I like the changeable display background, but it's curious that most of the designs are largely obscured by album art when playing media.
There is no on/off switch, which takes getting used to. There is a mute button and a "turn off screen" button, so pressing one after the other would effectively silence and blank the image, but to turn it off requires pressing the home button, and choosing "off" from the list of icons. The unit is designed to compliment iPhones and iPods (with the proper connections), like many audio devices. I have an Android phone, so I can't speak to the features that are made for the iUniverse. But my Android integrates fine via bluetooth, with Pandora working seamlessly, and my phone's audio content working fine as long as I have it cued up before I get in the car (which I do with the DAR.FM app on my Evo phone).
My car doesn't have steering wheel controls, so I do have a little "new car lust" for that feature. The more I use this unit, the easier it's getting to get it do do what I want, but I'm still learning. And one thing that almost everyone will have to deal with is the fact that an after-market stereo doesn't look like it came with the car. The color-adjustments help that a bit, but unless you have a car with a rectangular-shaped hole in the dash, you'll have to deal with the kits that are out there to make it fit. They're uniformly bland/ugly. In my Mitsubishi Galant, my silver factory dash was replaced with a flat black plastic kit, and a chintzy black gasket. I didn't much like it, so I came up with a solution:
I work in a sign shop, so I measured the space around the unit, measured the surrounding area, and cut a piece of satin silver applique to fit around it. It was a very easy, inexpensive solution to dress it up a little, and make the unit look less like it's after-market. (Every town has sign shops with laser CNC cutters, and self-adhesive appliques come in a variety of colors. Keep the idea in mind if the after-market look bugs you!)
I'm not an audiophile, and wasn't buying this unit for its amazing sound, but it really is pretty good, even out of my factory speakers. The depth of sound, and clarity at higher volume is much better than the factory Mitsubishi stereo, which topped out (and distorted) at ridiculously low volume, and always sounded tinny. This is much better, and will suit more casual listeners. I just know I like it, and will not be wishing I had a newer car with newer toys for a while!
NOTE: I loaded my 64GB memory stick with music, which I separated into folders for artists, and a few hodgepodge categories, but found that this unit (and most like it) puts the folders and songs in order by their creation date. Do yourself a favor if you make one of these yourself. Google "How To Make Your Songs Play in Order: Sort Your MP3 Player's Songs Alphabetically" and follow the link. It will make your song surfing so, so much easier.

The product was easy to install, and has a fantastic feature set. The Bluetooth Audio feature works really well, and my iPhone 4s automatically pairs with the device within a few seconds of power-on.My problems
No real iPod functionality until I bought the ridiculously overpriced Pioneer CDIU201S. As if this functionality couldn't be easily integrated into the unit when everything is USB connected.
The features that work/don't work based on when you're stopped are arbitrary and ridiculous. Why can I set a graphical Equalizer but not change the display brightness?
Also, the receiver is WAYYY too sensitive about when the brake is on. On my 350z, it usually takes me at least 4 or 5 tries to get the stereo to realize that my brake is on...
Conclusion:
Buy the receiver, but if you're using iOS devices, count the cable in with the cost. Also, buy one of the Brake Override/Bypasses. Don't watch a movie while you're driving but Pioneer stupidly locks you out of so much stuff, it's worth it to get the bypass (maybe the bypass is made by the same team of people who decide which features work/don't work when the brake is on?)Purchased the AVH-X2500BT and have been pleased so far with the performance. I also own the avh-3200bt. The X2500 seems alot faster and has a nice sharp display. DVD playback is fast and sharp. I have the headunit hooked up to a rear dvd player and back up camera. Hookup was a cinch and as used the RP4CH11 in my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The steering controls work perfect and the Parking Brake bypass they sell on amazon also worked perfect. The Bluetooth streaming seems to work flawlessly, but I really don't use it that much because I use the CD-IU201S to play movies off my Iphone 4s. That works really well...I have been waiting for this feature for sometime. It's nice that the radio has all the inputs on the back, unlike my 3200bt. There are no wires hanging out the front of the radio. All in all it was a good purchase and I am happy I got to purchase it for $275 through Pacific Stereo Black friday deals.

What can I say this product is perfect in my opinion. I wired it up so on and off with battery so once turned on it searchs for bluetooth and starts playing from my note 2. The streaming works flawless, and the ability to make hands free calling is great to. I haved the mic hidden coming out to visor and sound is good. Music seems to be louder than original stereo. Finally got music videos to work and they look great on it. And that brings me to the next point. I specifically bought a less expensive, smaller model because 200 watts was more than adequate for our needs, so it didn't make sense to spend more for a 400W+ model that would likely be larger, louder and hotter than this one. The 13" MacBook Pro we have only uses 60 watts when charging, so this 200W charger was way more than necessary to do the job. If you have a big, power-hungry laptop or other device that you intend to charge with this, verify that your device is within the range supported by this converter or you will have problems.
I have no regrets about this purchase and would definitely recommend it to other folks who are considering it.

I've had this inverter for a couple of weeks. The great thing about this model is that it does not make that annoying high-pitched alarm that most inverters make when they go into low battery condition. I use this inverter for non-automotive use and needed something that would simply shut down quietly when the battery gets down to 11 Volts or lower without giving off noisy alarms. In addition, this model has no moving parts: it does NOT have a fan and operates very whisper quiet. It still does not seem to get hot though this maybe because I operate it in a cooler climate outdoors. I have not used the USB port on it yet.I have gone through several makes of inverters and been frustrated with erratic operations, noisy alarms and loud fans and I'm happy I finally found this one.
I would definitely recommend this model.

I have to reduce my original 5-star rating to 3-stars. I got to test this under various conditions and no longer feel it meets my needs. As mentioned in my previous review, I don't use this inverter inside a Car with a starting type battery. Instead I use it with a non-car 12V 80 Amp-Hour deep cycle/marine battery. Deep-cycle batteries are designed to take more abuse by allowing the user to run the battery all the way down to 11 Volts (& sometimes as low as 10 Volts). However, this Wagan model goes into low-battery mode too soon at about 11.9 Volts. The specs on the actual packaging implies it can tolerate upto 8.5 Volts input. When I connected a 100 Watt incandescent light bulb to this inverter at a battery input voltage at 12.1 Volts, this inverter started cycling rapidly like "off-on-off-on-off-on..." every half second. My 100W bulb kept flickering rapidly and when I disconnected the 100W load, the battery recovered quickly to 12.1 Volts.
What's happening is, when smal loads like 40 to 75 Watts are connected to this inverter, it works fine (assuming battery is charged to 12.1+ volts). However, when connected to 100 W loads (less than 9Amp starting current), there is a voltage drop in the input side of the inverter. This is normal but the electronics in this inverter treats this momentary drop in volts as a low-battery condition and tries to shutdown. But within about a second, the battery quickly recovers back upto 12+ volts and the inverter tries to re-establish the connection to battery. But as soon as it re-connects to the battery, it again goes into low-battery mode and tries to shut down again. This cycles keeps repeating itself as off-on-off-on-off-on...Direct connection to battery terminals does not fix this.
The bottom line is: if you plan on using this inverter inside a vehicle with a 100W+ load (Laptops etc) AND are willing to turn on the ignition every half-hour or hour, create noise and gasoline pollution and engine wear and tear, this inverter should do the job. To be fair, this is a widespread design issue with most other brands as well and not just peculiar to Wagan.
What manufacturers should do is provide a selector switch to select between Deep CycleCar Starting batteries. Doing this will allow consumers to get more out of their batteries without artificially going into low-battery alarm/shutdown pre-maturely.

The search may be ending. Ironically, the PREVIOUS version of this model (http://www.amazon.com/Wagan-EL2402-SmartAC-Power-Inverter/dp/B000YQT6RS/ref=cm_rdp_product) works much better and that's the one I decided to keep. The previous model is silent without a fan and tolerates low-battery condition much better. I had a 100W incandescent bulb connected to this inverter for several hours and the inverter got barely warm to the touch. It does NOT make that annoyingly loud alarm that is common in other inverters when battery volts drop below 11.5V. Due to these reasons, the older Wagan model EL2402 enables me to get more use out of a "non-car" deep-cycle battery (i.e., a battery not used for starting an engine). I have had the older model for the past 5 months. Recommended before this rare older inverter runs out of stock!

I bought this little thing to connect a Nintendo Wii to our car dvd player during a road trip, it worked like a charm, no problems whatsoever, however, I'd recommend putting it on a place with some kind of ventilation as it can get pretty warm fast. Not only do you get TWO power ports, but a USB port? WOW.This is a great product for so many reasons. It works well, so more than one device can plug in at a time and work fine. It also can be hidden under the seat. Think about most of these type of power invertersthey normally stick out of the car like an ugly thing that never fits... This always fits in any car. It has the actual inverter seperate from the end of the cord that goes into the car... GREAT! Finally someone was smart!

Note 1: Apple devices use their own rules to decide charging speed. A designed-for-Apple USB output may be slow to charge non-Apple devices, and vice versa, even if its Amp rating is high enough. This USB output charged my iPhone 4S at just over 1% per minute -the same fast-charging speed achieved with Apple's own wall charger. I have not tested the Wagan EL2402-5 with non-Apple devices.

I bought this charger from Amazon.com 3 weeks ago. Over this time, it has been working perfectly as expected. I keep it plugged into an outlet with the iPod's cable attached and just connect the iPod whenever it needs a re-charge. My 5G iPod video, 2.5 years old, recharges from 0 to full in less than hour and a half. The charger does not have any light indicator, but the iPod will say "Charged" on its screen, once that is achieved. Monster says there is a smart device inside that will keep your iPod from overcharging.Something that may not be obvious from the pictures this charger is really very small. It is about the same width and height as my Motorola Razr phone charger, only at least twice thinner, making it a real winner over Apple's own charger it will fit in much smaller pockets. The prongs are shifted from the center to one side and spring-loaded, so unfolding them is a snap, quite literally well, in a good way.
Obviously, a dedicated charger for an iPod is by no means necessary, as long as one remains within reach of a computer, but it is a great convenience, especially for those of us who rely on a laptop. You know your computer only charges the iPod when it's awake, right? Not to mention the times when there is no computer around a scary thought, I know...
Finally, a note for fellow comparison shoppers: the current price for this item here, ~$21, is good. I'm very disappointed with this product. The holder actually grips the phone quite well, and opens reasonably easily to release the phone. The issue is the holder mounts onto the windshield mount by simply sliding down 1/16 of an inch on 4 small slots. If the unit turns at all, the holder and phone fall completely off. I won't even try to use this in my car, it falls off the arm while I'm holding it.Update as of 10-24. Have heard back from the seller, item should lock into place. They are shipping out a replacement (testing it locally first). I will update the review once I have the replacement mount.

It is easy to use and... break...in winter ....The mount is great and has great suction power to it. I used in a ~9 hour trip without problems. This thing is universal. It will work on any smartphone or small pad (I think anything less than 7").
The charger on the other hand was horrid. It worked for ~2 hours then failed. it just stopped charging. No pulling whatsoever.It is handy to have stuck to window. Flexible portion came loose but glue fixed it. I use charger a lot and if there is pressure on inserted part, sometimes loses contact.

I am using this to charge batteries attached to a solar system, so I did not need a smart charger. I can charge the batteries when they get low with this and let the solar charge controller do all the fancy smart charging.
The device seems to be well build.
Update. I lowered the rating to 3 stars as I discovered that the charger will only put out 30 amps for 8 minutes or so. The good news is that there is a thermal switch that will turn it off, so nothing gets hurt, but this is not a 30 amp charger. It is a 10 Amp that can put out burts of 30 amps and 50 amps for a limited time.

Work great for mulit proposes and I love it I use it for a battery charger and as a power source for a catilist machine.When I got this item in the mail and opened the package, it looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs. The case was warped, the face plate barely held on, and the bottom was so bowed out that the unit wouldn't sit flat on my shop counter. The box was in pristine condition. Somebody bought this item, demolished it, and sent it back in for a refund. Obviously nobody checked it when it came back in...2 seconds would have told them it was probably broken. And it was. I was using it for anodising, and it totally ruined the parts I was working on because it only put out 10 amps instead of 30 (on both settings), and stopped working completely after 40 minutes.One thing I will say about Amazon is that they did give me a full refund, which I appreciated...but there should have been someone checking the returns! How many other people are going to get sent this same charger? When does it stop being "NEW IN BOX"?

I have only used this charger a couple of times but so far, so good. I like the fact that you can set it on automatic and forget about it. I would have given it 5 stars if there was an off switch. Would be nicer than having to unplug it, which in time will probably damage the cord. Also, after I purchased it, a mechanical engineer told me that my batteries would last longer and would both get an equal charge by charging them on the 12 volt mode sepeately rather than connecting the charger in series to both batteries and charging them on the 24 volt setting. If that is true, I didn't need a 24 volt charger because I couldn't find a 24 volt baffery, only 2 12 volt batteries connected in series. I still like the unit, thus far.

The sports ticker is great also. I was able to set it up for every NFL team, so there doesn't appear to be any limit on its size. It's not instantaneous, however; it takes about 2-3 minutes for an actual change in the score to be reflected in the ticker.
There is also a "Jump" button which allows you to flip to the previous channel.
The "Tuneselect" feature now allows you to search for songs not only by the song title, but by the artist name as well. This is accessed through the menu screen. You do, however, have to pick one or the other.
Another big plus: The Roady XT now gives you access to virtually the entire FM spectrum (88.1-107.9) if you want to listen via the FM modulator. The "Jump" button also comes into play here as well. If you hold it in for a few seconds, it will bring up a screen showing the last 6 FM frequencies you used. You can then use the arrow buttons to go to the one you want, then hit "Select." And by setting your in-dash radio's presets to the corresponding FM frequencies, it makes it much easier to adjust the modulator if you start running into interference as you drive.
Tip: The XM antenna also serves as the FM transmitter. If possible, place it close to your regular car antenna.

The Roady XT is a well needed update to the previous model because it seamlessly goes back and forth between satellite and conventional AM/FM settings with a simple push of your preset button. The antenna is strong enough that I have mine inside my car and I seem to be enjoying strong enough reception. You may want your antenna outside your car as prescribed by the owner's manual, but I was concerned that the antenna would be too easy to steal or simply vandalize, so based on my installer's recommendation I had my antenna placed on the upper right windshield, inside the car.The radio's interface is easy to use. You can scan, digitally enter desired station or use presets. The ticker feature is nice and easy to read. Also my professional installer (I recommend professional installation even though this is supposedly a "plug-and-play") said he has installed many satellite radios and he thought this one was the best he has seen.
Bear in mind all satellite radio is not a perfect technology. It's got great content but remember it's vulnerable to reception glitches in the same way that a cell phone is. Going under tunnels, bridges, for example; or driving up in the mountains or by the beach with lots of overhanging structures; even heavy cloud cover can compromise your signal. But even with its similar cell phone weaknesses, I think on balance satellite radio is a good buy, especially for long drives when you don't want to be faced with "cow pasture" radio stations.
In conclusion, the XM Roady XT, with its effortless transition between satellite and FM/AM radio, represents the best technology for this type of radio.
Post Script: Contrary to my installer's advice, the radio works better with the antenna mounted on the dash than it does in the upper right window.
Update 8/20/06: If I could do it over again, I'd only get satellite radio if it was pre-installed in the car because my installer, as a result of moving a car panel, has made a rattling sound in the side car panel, which he removed to put in the radio. Don't get one installed, only pre-installed.
Final Update on 12-15-07: I did not renew my XM subscription. As I said, the installation resulted in car rattles and vibration noise. The actual satellite sound was unacceptable: loud hissing, static, sometimes outright lack of reception, compromised fidelity even in best conditions. Living in LA, I have so many terrestial radio choices plus "radio" websites such as Pandora leave me with no desire for satellite radio.

I concur with the positives in the other, previous reviews.
But I've got a couple of gripes, for which I knocked one star off the rating: (these are not deal-breakers, but just things to be aware of)
1. The included rechargeable batteries are just a bit too large in diameter for the battery cover to fit properly (the cover sort of "bulges" out). More of an annoyance at this point, but I'm concerned that it could possibly break eventually, requiring me to find a replacement cover. (Using AA batteries does not cause this problem, the cover fits just fine with them).
2. The arrangement and organization of the owner's manual is very poor in my view. It's not printed, which may surprise some buyers, personally I'd prefer it printed, but I understand the economics of releasing it only online/on included CD. But sorry, the manual is VERY POORLY arranged. I'm an experienced radio guy, just not with Uniden brand products. But I still am getting frustrated trying to find stuff. I would much prefer a PDF style manual, where typefaces, spacing, white space, etc. can be combined to communicate point much more effectively. Is this a big deal? Well probably not a deal-breaker, once you/I figure out how the various features work, we won't need the manual much, but it's a royal pain until then. You may have friends who can help you out on this, which may make this irritation not too big a deal for you.
3. This scanner does have a LOT OF CAPABILITY, including some really cool features, as a result, most keys have multiple functions, some (again, my personal opinion) are not as well thought out as I would prefer, ie not intuitive.
But overall, it's a good unit. My gripes are probably not deal-breakers, and keeping in mind the price, it's a worthwhile purchase. If you're experienced with Uniden products, you might not have any trouble at all figuring out how to use it, perhaps even not needing the manual, but if you're like me, just be prepared for a learning curve longer than you might otherwise expect.

When I was shopping for a new portable scanner, I was looking at the GRE PSR-300 and this Uniden BC346XT. Both are great scanners as far as reviews and features go, but I ultimately settled on the higher priced BC346XT (obviously) because it had some features that I absolutely wanted which the GRE scanner lacked. The only downside(s) so far is that this scanner is up to $70 more in price than the GRE and that Amazon dropped the price by $18 AFTER I got it shipped to me. Hehe... so frustrating! I could have gotten it for a better price locally, but then the sales tax comes in and Amazon was just cheaper overall.Anyway, back to the scanner.
This thing is amazing. I've had it for going on 3 days now (since 5/28/2010) and after a short learning curve (scanners have sure changed), this thing is just wonderful. Its size is great. I honestly thought it would be bigger than it really is judging from the images I have seen online, but it is REALLY compact. The audio is perfect with perfect tone and loud output even when set to low.
I have not played with every feature of this scanner yet, but I am sure it is all as good as what I have toyed with so far. I have been using FreeSCAN to program it and that program has been good to me so far.
Pros:

Comes with rechargeable batteries (I have gotten 11 hours out of them with the backlight on infinity)
Comes with a really sturdy belt clip. I was shocked it was as nice as it is
It is easy to program through your computer with FreeSCAN (no Mac support for this) or through the keypad

Comes with a SERIAL cable instead of USB. Save your money here, folks, I bought the TENDnet TU-S9 Serial-to-USB** (uses same chipset as Uniden USB-1 uses) and it has worked flawlessy for only $15
Does not come with programming software and it probably should for the price
Doesn't make sandwiches for me
You can't go wrong with this scanner. Those of you having a very hard time programming it are probably just over complicating things for yourselves. It really is not hard at all.

A very elaborate and capable analog scanner at a great price. If you are a novice (like me) the complexity is a little overwhelming but with persistence you can overcome the complexity. The User Manual is on a CD and Website based so you need to be on your computer while learning how to program and operate the scanner. If you have experience with another scanner, I think you will find this one easy to use and full of features and a vast amount of memory...Save 6% Off
As a new and very novice scanner user, this scanner once programmed works very well. Sound quality is excellent and reception is excellent.I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this scanner. I still had no idea how involved scanner programming can be or how complex the systems today are. Decades ago the biggest problem was getting the correct crystals installed into the scanner to hear the local fire and police; today's radio systems are much more complex.
If you're a radio / scanner expert you may be able to program this scanner without a PC, I am not and highly recommend third party software ArcXT Basic and at least a temporary membership to radioreference [dot com]. Reason being this makes programming this system a breeze provided you have a serial port on your PC. If not get a USB to serial converter TRENDnet USB to Serial Converter TU-S9 (Blue) (less expensive option) or the Uniden USB cable Uniden USB-1 Scanner Radio PC Interface Cable. This scanner comes with the Serial connector for the PC. I did not even look at the software included on the CDROM, everything I read regarding the included software led me to believe it was much to complex and incomplete. I can say that using ArcXT Basic with the radioreference subscription allowed me to get the scanner up and running in less than 30 minutes for all my local fire and police and several other radio systems of interest in the area that never would have occurred to me to look for.
This scanner comes with rechargeable batteries and an AC adapter which will charge the batteries when the unit is plugged in.
I am very satisfied with the purchase and functionality of this scanner and highly recommend this scanner!
