Buy Cyclops C18MIL Thor X Colossus 18 Million Candle Power Rechargable Halogen Spotlight Now
I had had the Cyclops C15MIL, rated by the manufacturer 15 Million Candle Power, before I bought this from Amazon. I tested the light intensity output of both only to find out that not only were they identical, but they also fell far below the fantastic claims of 15 and 18 Million Candle Power. ... Actually candle power rating is such a misleading method of rating light output that it should be outlawed!Instead, I measured their Luminosity in terms of Lumen Units; both have registered identical readings of 1423 and 1417 Lumens respectively, where my older C15MIL scoring the negligibly higher rating.
I then removed both their Phillips 130 watt quartz halogen lamps and replaced them with a pair of Seoul H4 55 watt 6000K Xenon HID bulbs which were parts of an auto light replacement HID kit that I bought on eBay and hooked them to their Hella ballasts which came with the kit and tucked the ballasts under the reflectors where there is an ample volume for that. I resealed both spotlights, fully charged the batteries and turned them both on.
YeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!! The Sun shown at 11:00 PM PDST!!! .... I instantly ended up with a pair of Cyclops 4500 Lumens each, turning the Pacific Northwest late summer, early fall night into broad daylight at a fraction of the cost of buying an HID Spotlight. This is the best spot light flash light I have owned. Great light concentration with total focus. The instructions are not clear on the recharging procedure. I e-mailed Cyclops twice and have never heard from them. It's too bad a company makes such a great product but has no product support. The light gets a 10. Cyclops gets a 0.

I love this light, even though its as heavy as a anchor. Its bright and does what it is supposed to do...WHEN it works. Its very sporatic. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I will have to buy something else because I need something I can rely on.The light when new is fine. In about 6 months it started always having a dead battery making it necessary to be charged the 24 hours prior to anticipated usage (as if you schedule when you might need to look outside in the dark). The light when new would shine for over a half hour before needing a charge. In about 10 months it would only last 5-8 minutes and required the charge right before use, or the battery would not hold the charge. Now, my light is just dead. I paid like $100.00 for this light and I expect for the money that it would have lasted longer. I would buy a new battery for it, but I'm afraid the charger or charging circuit may not be any good and then I would only be spending more money on a junk product. It seems pretty cheaply made and I would not raise such a fuss about this product if it was like $25.00. At that price I would feel like I got what I paid for. So, now I am light shopping again.Kawasaki 840110 Black 19.2-Volt Drill Kit

If your buying this to be a work horse I probably wouldn't bother, but if your a home handy man who needs a nice cheaply priced drill this is it. I've been in the construction business for over 30 yrs and have always bought heavy duty drills. My drills still work good but having to spend big dollars on a battery just dosn't make sense to me any more. I bought this drill at Christmas and have used it on and off for the last three months. So far it has plenty of power and is a buy for the money. The bits that came with are also pretty good in quality. So for a forty dollar drill I say go for it.Read Best Reviews of Kawasaki 840110 Black 19.2-Volt Drill Kit Here
I picked one of these up in a local warehouse club last year, around $40, and used it fairly extensively for a couple of months to install wood floors. It was a compact and well balanced unit, and I liked the way it felt in the hand. Plenty of power for a basic drill/driver, and good battery life. But after about three months, the switch burned out, and it would no longer work. I dissected it to see if I could fix it, but the switch was shot. I have been unable to find a parts supplier online or otherwise. Kawasaki's sites do not even acknowledge that they make such a product, so I suspect it is manufactured in China and imported under the K label. The reviewer below indicates it is made by AllTrade, but their website says send it back to them, and does not list the replacement parts for sale. Shipping and repair costs will likely be more than the unit originally cost.
It was a nice unit while it lasted, and I may be able to resurrect it with a homemade switch (sacrificing variable speed control).
But based on my experience, I would recommend you spend a little more to get one from a reputable tool manufacturer that stands behind its products.

While it's true that there was a recall on the batteries, it looks like the folks that had trouble with the batteries only being good for 10 to 15 holes did the following: "Put the battery in the charger, and let it sit there." What happens is that a green LED comes on and one would think it's charging. That's not the case. One actually has to push a (flat to the surface) button to initiate charging. So you push the button and a RED light comes on and stays on until the battery is charged. At which point the green light comes on indicating a charged battery.I must admit I didn't read the manual and thus was running the drill 'for two months' without actually charging it. I only thought I was charging it. That's two months of use on just the battery come-back! That was over two years ago and now that I'm actually charging it the drill has more than enough power and longevity to spare.
Really, the only bad thing I have to say about the drill is that the two spring clip retainers for the drill bits wear out after extended use. But I was always weary about keeping bits there anyway, although I did.
The reason I'm looking at this drill on Amazon is that I was thinking about getting another one, because it's just handy to not having to change the bit all the time from a drill bit to a driving bit.
I am, and have been, happy with the drill and it's an excellent value for the p;rice. If you don't need a corded, heavy duty drill then this Kawasaki will do the job for you.Great while it lasted..Just didn't last long! The drive gear stripped while screwing in a screw. No replacement parts! Spend the money on something else.
Zune Travel Pack
- Expansive travel kit for Zune devices
- Save money by buying all five travel accessories together with this travel pack
- Rugged, durable Zune gear bag protects your Zune and included accessories
- The included dual connect remote offers convenient playlist control and two headphone jacks with independent amplifiers
- Also includes premium earphones, AC adapter, and sync cable; 1-year limited warranty
Regarding the case, it is well organized and quite roomy, though it resembles a shaving kit more than a case for a media player. It has a padded socket for the Zune with an elastic strap to hold it secure. It also has a custom fitted place for the earphone case and the AC adapter. The general use storage has plenty of room for the synch cable, remote, additional earphones and such.
The earphones are very good and are quite an improvement over the stock earphones that come with the Zune. There are 3 different sized pads, so this should work for most users who aren't adverse to in-canal earphones. It includes a plastic case that keeps the earphones and pads secure, but is a little unwieldly to wind the cord up and jam it all in. The base is strong and the treble is good, and since these are in-canal earphones, they do an adequate job of blocking out some noise, though they are not noise-canceling.
The remote is actually a nice suprise for me, as I did not expect to find it useful. It's great for keeping the Zune stored away in a jacket pocket or backpack, but still have access to basic functionality like volume or changing tracks. It also does dual purpose as a splitter, so a second listener can jack-in and listen along with you.
The additional synch cable is needed for connecting the Zune to the AC charger, and can also be used for connecting to a PC or an Xbox 360, both of which will charge the device. Having this second synch cable enables me to leave one cable connected to my PC at home all the time, but insures that I always have a cable with my Zune for opportunities to charge, synch or output to an Xbox 360 while away from home.
Strongly recommended for Zune owners.Amazon needs to provide this information in its description: The wired remote only works with the Zune 30GB. It does not work with the newer Zune 80 or 4 or 8. Even Microsoft is a bit obscure about compatibility. You can find the information in Microsoft's forums.

The travel pack comes with a remote that can attach to your clothing so I don't have to reach for the up/down buttons when I want to skip a song. I attached the clip to the seat belt that crosses over my chest. I am not distracted my taking my eyes off the road. I put my travel pack in my backpack and take it to work. I charge my Zune while sitting at my desk. The premuim earphones are awesome. You can hear the bass in the music and it dorwns out all background noise. You never need to turn up the volume on your Zune while using the premium earphones. I love my Zune accesories.Want Zune Travel Pack Discount?
The headphones are good, but not great. The charger is just a USB charger with the Zune logo on it. The extra cable is only there so you have something to plug into the USB charger, and the headphone splitter/remote is really only useful if you're planning to share your traveling Zune experience with a 2nd person. And if this is a Travel Pack, why is there no car charger included? The real draw of this kit is how all of these accessories work along with the case. The case is compartmentalized, so all Zune-branded products fit snugly into predefined niches which keeps everything from rattling around. You can purchase non-branded versions of all these accessories for a lot less money, but if you're really hung up on organization, this is probably the way you want to go.I've been literally waiting for the mailman each day to deliver the travel pack to me and it finally arrived today. Even though I was very excited about getting it, I was even more excited with actually using the accessories. The case is nice: big enough to fit anything important in it and small enough to travel with. It is also very organized. The adapter's nothing new, it charges the zune (obviously). I suppose its good for when there isn't a computer available, but I already had one, so I didn't care a whole lot. The dual headphone jack controller is extremely convenient. I tend to go on vacation with my family and not everyone in it wants to listen to what's on the car's radio. I can share my music with my friends and family now and not have to either listen to it with the volume too high or the volume to low. I can control how I want to hear the music, and they can control how they hear it. The most fascinating item included were the headphones. I knew that they were supposed to be able to isolate noise, but I didn't realize that it made that much of a difference. As soon as I put them on, everything went silent and the only thing I could hear was the music. However, this does not mean that they necessarily reduce all noise to nothing. At the time I was alone at my house, and as soon as people got home, there was audible noise. I did notice an extreme reduction, though, and am happy that I bought them for the price I paid. Strongly recommended for travelers and non-travelers alike.
Glove Box Car Jump-Starter
- Jump-start a vehicle without leaving the drivers seat
- Small enough to store almost anywhere
- No more confusing jumper cables that rely on a jump-start from another car
- charges car battery when adaptor is plugged into a standard car cigarette lighter
- Takes only 10 minutes to charge a car battery enough to start the engine
This will only work though if your battery is capable of holding a charge or being recharged. If it is old and needs replacing, this product will do nothing for you. On the other hand, if you leave your lights on for a few hours and your car won't start, this could very well be enough to help you get it started.
Do you I recommend this? Only if you have a good battery and you can get this at a good price.
Do I recommend that you buy a more expensive portable jump starter instead? From my experience, they are not very reliable either. They are essentially just rechargeable batteries, probably very similar to your car battery. That means they will wear out relatively quickly. For the price, you could probably just replace your car battery. For that reason, the Mighty Jump at a smaller price point is very tempting.
In general, having a set of jumper cables would be your most reliable option particularly if you live in an urban setting with a lot of people around. If you are out in the middle of nowhere regularly, you might want to invest in something more versatile (and more expensive).
If you can get this at a good price, it would be a good option for just running down your battery from leaving your lights on. If you suspect that your battery is bad or is getting old, this will do nothing under those circumstances.

Sabre Rattler and G. Mahler (commentator on Aquabusa Jib's review) comments are the most informational and accurate. For any jump starter to work (including the Mighty Jump) the following conditions must be present:
1. The battery in the jump starter must be in good condition and kept charged. This is needed to charge up the car battery.
2. The accessory (lighter) socket must be in the "ON" position and the connection is good all the way to the car battery.
3. The car battery must be capable of retaining the charge from the jump starter. That is it must not be too old or incapable of holding a charge.
4. All devices using battery power (eg Head lights, rear window heaters, radio, cabin lights etc) should be switched off so as not to drain the limited battery power available.
5. Wait for the car battery to be recharged sufficiently to provide the cold cranking amperage that Aquabusa Jib mentioned in his review to start the car. This may take between 1 to 10 minutes depending on the battery power in the jump starter and how discharged the car battery is.
6. The car should start now (unless the starter motor on the car is dead!). Do not switch off the car engine during the first 15 minutes of driving to allow the car generator to at least partially recharge the car battery.
Remember to recharge the jump starter battery after use so it is ready for the next emergency. It can be achieved by leaving the jump starter connected for about 15 to 20 minutes while you are driving. It is good practice to recharge the jump starter battery at least every 3 4 months. All rechargeable batteries deteriorate over time and need to be replaced after a few years. It is time to replace when it will not hold a charge for at least a few days when not in use.
Jump starters do work if used correctly.
Hope this helps some people.Do NOT waste your money!!! I bought 3, one for me, one for my mom and the other for my sister. My mom had to use hers, it didn't work; I bought mine and it didn't work! THIS IS JUNK JUNK JUNK!!!This product works fine. People need to READ the instructions and do as directed. I noticed many people have commented that they only wait 5 minutes for their battery to recharge. The directions clearly state to wait 10 to 15 minutes. Also, be sure your ignition switch is turned to the 'Accessory On' position. Otherwise, no electricity can flow to the battery. Do NOT leave the Mighty Jump in a car when the outside temperature plumets below zero, or it will lose its charge too. Bring it inside to keep it warm. Another tip. If your battey is old or not holding a charge properly, it's time to get a NEW BATTERY. It's not Mighty Jump's problem. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Don't be so quick to blame Mighty Jump. 99% of the time it is the owner's fault, not the product. While driving home my battery light came on. I was able to get the car home. I turned the car off than tried to restart the car and nothing happen. when I told my roommate what happen she gave me the mighty Jump to try and jump start the car to go get a new battery. I had the might jump connected for 5 min and the car started right back up. I turned the car off and than back on but sadly it died again. I had a bad alternator. The main point of the store is that it charged my battery up enough to get it started. Which means that the product does work.

The Pebble has a light that glows blue as it charges and later glows red indicating that it is fully charged. This has been a great little product and I highly recommend it for daily use.i got this for my daughter because her i phone battery dont last the whole day. this charges her i phone about 1 and a half times. you can either use it to charge the phone back up or just leave it connected in her purse to keep charged at 100%.
i charged my kindle fire and android phone with it also.I love this little lifeline!! Comes in handy when I really need a charge but nowhere to plug in. So neat!I HAVE BEEN CHARGING MY NEW PEBBLE SMART STICK FOR ABOUT 20 HOURS NOW AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO TURN RED. AFTER CHARGING FOR 10 HOURS I THOUGHT MAYBE THE LIGHT WAS NOT WORKING SO I PLUGGED IT IN TO 3 DIFFERENT PHONES AND NOTHING. APPEARENTLY MINE IS JUNK BUT I WILL KEEP TRYING 1 MORE DAY BEFORE TRASHING IT.
DALE WAYNE, OF HARRISON MICHIGANI bought this because it's small and light and I like the variety of colors. I already have a charging case that was $50, but it's a hassle to put the case on and take it off and it makes my phone bulky. This works fine, but it IS slower than my charging case. For the money, I didn't expect much. It works on the iphone 4 and the iphone 5. It comes with plenty of accessories to fit all kinds of phones. For the iphone 5, I just use the USB cable that comes with the phone. I plugged it in at dinner and it went up to 57% by the end of dinner, so that's not bad at all.
It's nice to keep around for emergencies and fits nicely in the pocket.

RCA PCHUSB2R Portable 2 Outlet USB Charger for iPod/iPhone/Blackberry and Other Devices
- Convert any 110 power outlet into 2 USB charging outlets
- 2 Amp USB for full speed charging for 2 smartphones or 1 tablet
- USB ports accommodate a wide variety of portable devices
- Includes protective cover
- Compact and durable enough for travel
The good:
1) one less thing to carry if you have lots of devices.
2) Enough power to charge two things that aren't too needy
3) Decent quality
The bad:
1) The little cap thingy is easy to lose
2) It isn't all that light
3) If your two items need more power than it can supply, it shuts off without telling you which protects the devices. Yeah, you can look at your devices to see if they are charging, but why should you have to? They could add a little light to the device itself.
For me, the good outweighs the bad. Yes, I would spend my own money on this to get a charger I can leave at work. It is cheaper than Apple's wall charger, and about the price of Amazon's Kindle wall charger.
A good deal on a product that works.
Buy RCA PCHUSB2R Portable 2 Outlet USB Charger for iPod/iPhone/Blackberry and Other Devices Now
This is a nice little charger device. The core features are great it has two USB power ports and can charge two devices at the same time. Its 2.1-amp output can charge an iPad at the full speed.PROS:
Charging two devices at the same time;
2.1-amp output to charge an iPad at full speed;
Zero watt standby power consumption when not in use, as measured by P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor;
Stays cool during charging;
Three prong plug holds the charger securely to a wall outlet;
Small size does not block the other socket of a 2-gang wall outlet.
CONS:
Three prong plug not compatible with foreign AC sockets;
110V 120V AC input only, not universal.
As you can see, the three-prong plug is both a benefit and an issue. Based on the above pros and cons, this charger is best used as a home charger. I would rate it 4.5-star had Amazon allowed finer rating. For travel, the original iPad charger with its fold-in two-prong AC plug and 100V 240V input range is still my first choice. For those who have a Kindle Fire, this RCA PCHUSB2R Portable 2 Outlet USB Charger may be an ideal solution if you need to consolidate the number of extra items that you may be carrying when you're mobile. As can be seen in the product and user photos here, this one has two separate USB ports, one marked as 2.1 Amps, which required by the original 7" Kindle Fire and devices such as the iPad. There's another charging port for other devices such as smartphones. The original Kindle Fire came with its own charger, and if you're happy with that, then this probably won't apply to you. But for those who need more convenience, this one works.
Likes:
+ Dual USB ports; the one marked 2.1 Amp output charges the Kindle Fire every time
+ Charges two devices at the same time; just watch the power requirements (see below)
+ Has a 3-prong grounded plug, useful in some environments where it required
+ Excellent quality with a compact design; under 2½" overall including the AC plug cap
+ Protective plug cap keeps the 3-prong grounded plug from damage
+ Faster charge when only one device is plugged in
Dislikes:
Some may find the 3-prong grounded plug inconvenient with older 2-prong wall outlets
Protective plug cap could get lost or misplaced
No power indicator light
In Depth:
The original Kindle Fire came with a charger that has a DC output of 5V, 1.8A. Many of the third-party chargers that people have substituted as backup do not have the needed 1.8A (Amps) necessary to charge the device. Simply put, you'll find your Kindle Fire isn't functioning when you want or need it to do so. But this 9W RCA PCHUSB2R Portable 2 Outlet USB Charger has two outlets, and one is clearly marked with 2.1 Amp output (2100MA), so it will meet the needs of the original Kindle Fire and other devices such as the iPad quite easily.
The manufacturer notes that the 2.1 Amp outlet may not charge all models of all brands of your mobile devices, so you need to check your product specs. If any of your devices won't charge using the 2.1 Amp outlet, then use the other outlet to charge that device. This charger is designed to charge two devices simultaneously. However, if you plug in two devices to charge simultaneously and their combined power requirements exceed the power capacity of this charger, this charger will shut down to protect your devices. In that case, try charging each device by itself.
In Use:
I've observed no problems charging a number of different devices simultaneously with the Kindle Fire, so you'll have to determine how that works in your individual case. There is no power indicator LED so you'll have to check the charge indicator lights on the individual devices. A red power indicator LED is found on the AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet (2.1 Amp Output), but that one has only a single USB port, though it has a convenient swing-away 2-prong plug.
So far I've successfully used this RCA 2-outlet USB portable charger simultaneously with the following devices, and all combinations of two:
> Kindle Fire (original version)
> Kindle 2
> Plantronics Voyager PRO+ Bluetooth Headset
> BlackBerry Curve 9330 smartphone
Be aware that this USB charger comes with no USB cable, which you will need. The Kindle Fire and the other devices listed above require a USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B male cable, and below is a list of ones that I've used with the devices listed above. Some are higher in price than others, but each of these will work with this charger:
> Cloth Jacketed / Ruggedized USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B Cable; 6 feet, manufactured by Gator Crunch
> AmazonBasics USB Cable 2.0 A Male to Micro B; 6 feet / 1.8 Meters, gold-plated connectors
> Mediabridge USB 2.0 A-Male to Micro-B Cable; 6 feet, gold-plated connectors
I have all of these for various USB purposes, and use the ruggedized one made by Gator Crunch for daily for charging and data transfer. You may want to check the reviews and the prices on each of these, and they will all be functionally the same.
If you don't like the white color, there's also the RCA PCHUSB3R Compact 2 Outlet USB Portable Charger for Home and Travel in black. I have both, one for home and the other for when mobile, and there's no functional difference between them, so check the prevailing prices between the two units.
New Kindle Fire HD Note:
The new Kindle Fire HD 8.9" in all of its variations are listed as coming with a USB 2.0 cable, and no USB charger. Their recommendation is the new Amazon Kindle PowerFast for Accelerated Charging which is listed for use with the Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD 7", Kindle Fire HD 8.9", and all Kindle e-readers. This is also a 1.8 Amp adapter, so it's one to consider as well, though a bit higher in price. This reviewer has no information other than that as of the posting of this review, but will update as new info becomes available.
Summary:
Other than the minor irritation of there being no power LED on this USB charger, it's a good product, and is well constructed. Just remember that you need a USB 2.0 A-male to Micro-B cable if that's the one that fits your needs. I've knocked off half a point because of no power LED on this RCA PCHUSB2R Portable 2 Outlet USB Charger, but will round it up since there are no half stars here. As one who owns a couple of these, it's a highly recommended 4.5-star device that does its job, and does it well.
9/8/2012The design is great (love the travel cap!) and the idea is clever (charge two USB devices from one outlet!), but there's no denying that this charger is sloooooow. Even if I only have one device charging at a time, it's takes twice as long for it to charge as it does from my old single USB chargers. This slower charging time makes this charger best suited for at-home overnight charges -it'd be really frustrating to have this while traveling and try to do a quick top-off charge that might take 4 hours.Using it to power a Raspberry Pi and small stepper motors. works great, but when tested it actually outputs 2.741~2.745 amps. For what I am using it for this slightly higher amperage is better.

- For use with 6 and 12 Volts batteries
- Scrolling digital messaging displays step by step instructions to properly charge your battery
- Auto voltage detection automatically detects 6 or 12 Volts batteries
- Hook attachment allows the unit to hang outside the work area for safety and convenience
- It includes 50 ampere quick connect clamps, 24 inch fused ring leads harness with weather cap, 12 Volts DC adapter and manual
That being said, there are a couple of quirks the user should be aware of. The % capacity display is not at all accurate. It will typically state that a battery is 95% full, then increase slowly until saying it is fully charged, and on maintaining. I used this with several 9Ah 12V batteries, and some 8.5Ah 6V batteries. All of these were tested before & after with a BK Precision 601 professional battery analyzer. The readings never agreed, but that is not necessarily a problem.
BK Precision 601 Battery Capacity Analyzer
While the $400+ BK 601 is a great tool, it is not necessary to know the precise values of capacity, load and no-load voltage or internal resistance (unless you want to know these things of course!) If you are maintaining SLA batteries of a smaller capacity, say anywhere from 3 to 20Ah or so, just hook up the Schumacher and ignore the initial reading. If it says 95%, the capacity might be 80% or might be 45% (I saw readings higher and lower on the 601) No matter. Let the Schumacher charge until it says 'Fully Charged' or 'battery maintaining'. But do not stop charging just yet. At that point, the actual capacity might only be at 95 or 97% (as verified by the 601). Let it go another 15 minutes or half an hour. Then go ahead and disconnect. By that time, nearly all the batteries I tested were at the full 100% according to the BK 601.
If the battery is too far gone, the Schumacher will let you know. There are a few batteries here and there that will accept a charge from the Schumacher, but may not perform as well as new batteries. Outside of a professional analyzer, there is not much you can do about them. They will work, but may only have 90% or so of the charge. The Schumacher does as best as it can with them.
It also oworked well at auto-detecting 6V batteries. Very simple to use, and for easy operation and good performance, and a great price, I give it 5 stars. Just be aware of its limitations.

After receiving this gadget, I realize that I probably could have used the smaller SP2 unit, but now that I've had it a few weeks, I'm quite pleased with how it works. It is pretty large, but still only about a quarter the sise of a car charger. It's roughly the size of a brick, and has a big LED readout that tells you what it's doing readable from a good distance.
So far, I've only used the alligator clips for my motorcycle battery, but this also comes with a connector that you can attach permanently to the battery and has a simple connector to the charger cord. That means you don't have to remove the seat to hook up the charger. That seems pretty useful, and if I ever decide to unhook my battery and risk losing all the settings on my stereo, I'll install it.
I think something like this is essential in places that have a proper winter that keeps you from riding for weeks at a time.

I bought this battery "extender" to maintain the battery in my two-year-old, rarely-driven garage queen. When I first attached the unit, it said it was analyzing the battery, then reported that it was 5% charged, and proceeded to begin charging. The car had been sitting for three weeks, so I was not alarmed at the battery's condition. It has now been 48 hours, and display says the battery is at 91% charge, the same thing it said twelve hours ago. So either my like-new battery can no longer take a full charge, or this unit is flawed in some way.Other than this odd behavior, I like the SP3. It tells you what it's doing, takes up little space, and comes with a few different connection options.
One last thing. The manual that comes in the box is brief and omits information--like the connection options. I found a better copy online, but that should not be necessary.
Here is an update: after four days of charging (!), the unit finally switched over to "Maintaining", so all seems well.Great charger for the price you can't find a better one. I highly recommend. It analyzes , charges and maintains your battery. Great charger for long time storage of your battery.

This battery was installed in a diesel pusher motor home as the "house" battery, which is used to power the lights, heat, water pump etc. when you are not connected to utility power or running the generator.
It is heavy (at about 72 pounds) but since it is a sealed AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery we won't have to remove it every 6 months and check the water level in it as you do regular lead acid batteries.
We also use a NOCO Genius G7200 charger (also sold through Amazon) to keep it charged since it is a "smart" charger and will not over charge the battery. We no longer use the coach's built in 12 volt converter/charger to keep the batteries charged since it will over charge the batteries and shorten their life.
Even though we have only had the battery 2 weeks, I would recommend it for 3 reasons:
1. PRICE! When shopping around for a group 31 AGM battery, our local battery store (Batteries Plus) wanted $325.00 for theirs. (To be fair, their AGM battery was a hybird with 1000+ cranking amps it is across between a deep cycle battery and a starting battery.) Other places online wanted $250.00 or more and around $50.00 shipping!
2. Exide has been making batteries for over 120 years so I think they will be around to honor their 2 year replacement warranty.
3. As an AGM battery there little maintenance (Just wipe it off every now and then). I have had an AGM battery in our full size truck for 7 years with no problems to report. Our other vehicles have had to have their batteries replaces every 2 to 3 years. The heat in Texas is hard on a battery... (From now on when we replace the batteries in our vehicles, they too will be AGM batteries.)
We plan on purchasing 2 more of these batteries when our existing engine starting batteries need to be replaced in the coach.
Hope this helps someone!

I bought this battery for my travel trailer and it passed the test on a recent 10-day trip to Yellowstone park. I had plenty of power for the whole trip without having to recharge. There was not a hint of fading power on the whole trip. My previous battery, which is only a year old, did not last this long on week-long trips. I'm happy.Added 1/13/13 I bought a motor home and no longer use this on a trailer. I am now using it as a battery for my Minn-Kota 50 lb thrust troling motor on my 2 boats. I can also hook up my fish finder to it and have plenty of power for both. It works as a back-up for the motor home though I haven't had to use it yet.

I purchased two of the Exide MC-31 batteries from Amazon which were delivered in May, 2011. They were very well packaged and in excellent condition. After unpacking and inspecting the batteries, I was surprised to see that the manufacture date was May of 2010. The batteries had been in storage without charging for a full 12 months. The open circuit voltage indicated only about 75% charge, indicating that some plate sulphation must certainly have taken place by this time reducing the battery life and capacity. When I contacted Amazon their representative directed me to deal with the manufacturer. (Catch 22) The manufacturer did not supply the batteries to me directly and they were not actually defective (just old). I put the batteries into service and just hope their service life has not been shortened dramatically. When they were shipped to Amazon is not known, but selling lead acid batteries that are already a year old sounds like a huge oversite on Amazon's part. If you are considering the purchase of one of these batteries, I would suggest you contact Amazon first and inquire as to the date of manufacture.Want Exide MC-31 MEGACYCLE AGM-200 Sealed Maintenance Free (AGM) Marine Battery Discount?
I was a bit worried about ordering a battery from Amazon especially after the poor review and date problem listed below but, our travel trailer battery was dead and after checking local prices (whew!) decided to give this a try. After reading all the reviews, opted for this one and then noticed, WarehouseDeals had one available for a few bucks less. Since batteries can't be returned in general, I figured the less spent, the less risk and opted to give it a go.
When the battery arrived, my initial reaction was "uh-oh" because it was dusty and dirty. No grease or anything but lots of dust...I think there was even a shoe-print on it! I dreaded the worst thinking this thing must have been sitting around the warehouse for ages. No so! I cleaned it off a bit and saw the date being the SAME month as shipped! Wow I can't even get batteries that new locally. In fact, I can't come anywhere near this price on this battery (or similar ones) locally...the next best price was about $100 more than what I paid.
Hooked it up to see the charge...was at 92%. Charged the remainder. Works like a charm! Couldn't be more pleased by this purchase. Great battery, great price, great delivery, very fresh! Oh it was dirty as all get-out but I saved about $100 so still very pleased! Not sure why the production date of the battery I got was 12 months ago .. but it was fully charged and came packaged well enough. Since it shipped for free with Prime .. I'd hate to know what it would have cost with regular shipping cost considering its weight.
