Got these as cheep two way radios for 5-yr old daughter. She seems to like them ok but they have a beep with every transmission. Very annoying so they stay on top of fridge most of the time. No option to turn off. Recommend getting ones without automatic beeps or spend more money for option to turn off. Very bad decision to turn on beep. Should have just not had that option turned on.These are a blast! But, I do have to say they don't go the whole mile range like stated on the package. We only get about 1 mile range if that. With that said though they are fun and the kids love them and the quality is pretty nice!Cellet PIPHR Retractable Plug In Car Charger for Apple iPod Classic, iPod Touch 2nd Gen, iPod nano 4

USB Sync and Charging Cable Compatible with Apple iPhone (White)
I am very happy with this purchase and will purchase several more.
ADDENDUM April 20, 2011
=======================
After my initial great experience with the cable (that I ordered from Amazon's merchant Cellular 5 Star), I ordered 3 more cables, and did not realize that the "default" merchant had changed to Importer520. I just received these 3 cables and they look similar to genuine Apple cables at quick glance, but on closer inspection, they all had surface blemishes and slight irregularities. They also had a suspicious looking "Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China" stamped on the cable length.
The cable from Cellular 5 Star was of very good quality that I could NOT distinguish from genuine Apple cables, but the ones from Importer520 are slightly inferior. The feel of the cable length material is good though, in that it is supple. It will coil and uncoil without keeping the bent shape.
I have contacted Importer520 to see if I can get a refund, but their stated return policy states that they will not refund shipping costs, which when I ordered was almost all the purchase price.
ADDENDUM June 16, 2011
======================
I purchased another "OEM" cable, this time from Item44Less and this cable is the worst of the bunch. The length of the cable is made out of a rigid plastic that does not bend like the more supple rubber-like material of the genuine Apple cables or even from Cellular 5 Star or Importer520.
ADDENDUM September 2, 2011
==========================
I purchased another "OEM" cable, this time from C and J Accessories, which actually qualifies for Amazon Prime since their order fulfillment is through Amazon. This cable is clearly not authentic with the end that connects to the iPhone being larger by about 0.5 mm width and length. The other Amazon merchants cables were identical to design, but differed in quality. This cable actually differs in its design with its wider and thicker connector end. The length of the cable is also more plastic than a flexible rubber, compared to authentic Apple cables. I would say this is almost as bad as Item44Less.
ADDENDUM September 19, 2011
===========================
I purchased a cable from Niceeshop and it looks genuine except that the cable length material is not as supple as the genuine Apple cables. The cable length material is not as rigid as the Item44Less cable, but more inflexible (retaining bends) than the Importer520 cables.
SUMMARY (Ranked in order of similarity to an authentic Apple cable)
================================================================
1. Cellular 5 Star cables are the best and indistinguishable from my genuine Apple iPhone cables.
2. Importer520 is acceptable, but slightly inferior to Cellular 5 Star with some cosmetic blemishes. The cable length is made out of a high quality material.
3. Niceeshop is acceptable, but the cable length is not as supple as the Cellular 5 Star or Importer520.
4. C and J Accessories, although it qualifies for Amazon Prime, has its iPhone connector end as larger than the authentic one with a cheaper cable length material.
5. I would avoid Item44Less because of the rigid plastic cable material that does not bend and keeps the angular bent formation from its coiled position during shipping. The cable length material is the lowest quality (i.e. most plastic like) compared to the above four competitors.I browsed Amazon for weeks teetering between about 3 different sellers for my replacement dock cables for charging/syncing my iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and 160Gig iPod Classic. I found these cables to be the least expensive of the ones with predominately "good" reviews. There were a few people who said they got the "real thing" when they ordered the cables as "OEM Apple cables", a few people who said the cables were good but not "OEM Apple" quality, and finally there were a few who said to "stay away from these cables" because they tore up easily. I figured I'd chance it and order them. I am VERY PLEASED that I did. I ordered the cables 3/29/11 and was given a forecasted delivery date of 4/4 to 4/7/11. I received the cables today (4/1/11). VERY SPEEDY SHIPPING!!!! The cables were sent via USPS in a small brown envelope that was coated inside with bubble wrap. The cables were coiled up, much as anyone would coil a dock connector cable for storage with plastic wraps that were similar to the style wraps for the cables that come with all new Apple products. I was curious but kind of dreading opening the package because I just knew these cables would not fit my iPhone 4 with the bumper like just nearly every other "after market" cable I've seen. I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED when I saw the design of these cables. They are as close to being "OEM Apple" cables as I've ever seen without actually being "Apple cables". They fit snugly in all of my iDevices, charge the 4, 3GS, and Classic with NO ISSUES. I tested the sync speed of the cable and found it rivals the speed of the newest "Apple cable" that was included with my iPhone 4 purchase back in July 2010. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE CABLES!!!! If you're an iPhone 4 owner who uses a bumper, GET THESE CABLES!!! THEY WORK!!! I've also taken "comparison" pictures and posted them to the "user pictures" on this item's display. Hope my review is helpful and thanks to everyone who writes these reviews and to everyone who reads them. Together we can help each other make sure we get what we pay for!

***(More to come on their durability after I've used them a couple of months)***
***UPDATE 8/28/11***
Got these cables almost 5 months ago, one connects to my iMac, one to my wall charger, one to my XP machine at work, and one connects to my car charger. All are working and none have presented any issues so far. A friend was looking for similar cables but purchased them from a different seller and found they didn't fit his iPhone 4 bumper. I thought on it a bit and found an excellent resolution. Just get an emery board (flexible fingernail file) and file down the edges of the 30 pin connector. PRESTO it fits now! SO if the seller does change the type of cable that is being shipped and you get one that doesn't quite fit the iPhone 4 bumper, I can tell you (from experience) that it will not hurt to file the 30 pin connector to fit the bumper. Hope the review and this update are still helpful to people looking for new charge/sync cables.
***UPDATE 3/25/12***
Had the cables nearly a whole year now and still going strong. I haven't checked this post in a while now but I noticed there were some questions about sync speed. My original Apple cable for my iPhone finally went out on me so I replaced it with one of these. I sync to a Mac, I have a 32GB iPhone 4, and I keep a lot of stuff on my phone. If I erase it and have to sync it from scratch, we're looking a a couple of hours but just moving a few hundred songs around, some voice memos, pictures and stuff only takes a few minutes. The cables I got were definitely USB 2.0 cables. I also got one of the new iPads (3rd gen), it's 64GB and I use these cables to sync and charge it with no problems. I'm about to order a couple of extras for my iPad now and this time, I'll make sure to post the seller I get them from on the update about the new ones. Oh yeah, the cable I use in my car has gotten stepped on, spilled on, heat, cold, moisture, and even slammed in the door a couple of times... still going strong. No breaks, no kinks, no exposed wire at the ends, it's taken a beating for nearly a year and still works like a charm. Still highly recommend these cables.

I ordered this cable because the image shows a real style Apple cable with rounded edges. I have an OtterBox case that requires a rounded edge cable in order to charge it. I received this cable and it is a generic square ended cable, which is completely useless to me. Though it might work it would require I remove the phone from the case every time I wanted to use it, which is not an option.Read Best Reviews of USB Sync and Charging Cable Compatible with Apple iPhone (White) Here
This video will show you this after market cable. It works great and it is not cheap construction either. Works on my iphone 4 and ipad. Charges great. It is the same size as the OEM cable from about which is about 3ft. Quality I would say they are about the same.

When my dog chewed through my iPhone adapter, I didn't want to spend $19 in the Apple store for a replacement. I considered replacing the dog, but instead I decided to find a cheap, compatible adapter. I found this one and I thought, "Well, if it doesn't work, I'm only out a couple bucks." I bought two of them, and the disadvantages were apparent right from the beginning.First, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the business end of the cable is squared, not rounded. This wasn't a problem with my case, but it would be with others. Second, the construction and materials used leave a lot to be desired. There is no doubt when you look at this product that it is a cheap dollar store version, and that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in it. Finally, my phone would not sync with iTunes. Considering iPhone users need to sync their phones to get crucial updates, that is a big problem. However, the cord did charge my phone, so it wasn't a complete loss. Or so I thought.
Within a week, through normal use, I broke the iPhone connector end on my cord. The plastic case came apart, and a few of the components fell out into my hand. The rest I had to carefully remove from inside the port on my phone. After a little tinkering, I was able to put the cable's connector back together, but it didn't fasten tightly. I remedied this by wrapping two small hair elastics tightly around it. The second cord lasted a few weeks longer, only falling apart recently. I was unable to repair the second. But hey, when held together with duct tape, chewing gum, and rubber bands, I still had one cord that charged my phone! Until just now.
The rigged up, cheap, piece of you-know-what cord decided about an hour ago to stop charging my phone completely. I don't know why. The components in the rubber-banded end are still secure, the connection is good, and it's plugged into a reliable power source. It occurred to me that though I saved a few dollars, I paid for it in hassles. Don't waste your money on this inferior product. Inferior is not even a strong enough word for what this product is; I don't think there's a word in the dictionary that quite captures the essence of crap that is this cord.

This little neat tool lives in my battery tender pouch, and I use it for keeping the odometer and radio stations and clock when changing batteries. I live in AZ so with 4 cars it seems like I'm always changing batteries. On most cars you have to turn to accessories, 1st click, plug this in, and then change the battery. Great quality as all the other battery Tender products. I can highly recommend all the models. My favorite is the water proof 800ma...that thing is indestructible! I've accidentally run it over with my truck, no damage! Also, get a 6 or 12' extension, they are cheap and SO handy! BTW, the 800 works overseas 120-240 with just a cheap plug changer....my dad keeps one in his humid garage and always plugs the cars in during the winter! The cigarette lighter adapter for the Battery Tender allows one to plug the unit into the cigarette lighter inside of the vehicle to keep the vehicle battery charged. Without it, I had to unlatch and raise the hood of the car, and then connect the Battery Tender by some "alligator clips" to the car battery. This is a handy device that is easy to use and saves one the hassle of having to raise the hood and connect the Battery Tender to the automobile battery. 'Get one!Works very well with tthe battery tender device. I used it bor my Bimmer that had been in the garage for more than 6 months, so far so good.Schumacher XCS15 SpeedCharge Ship 'n Shore Battery Charger
- Charger monitors battery condition and adjusts charge rate to prevent battery damage
- For car, truck, marine, RV, farm equipment, AGM, gel cell and deep-cycle batteries
- The 10 ampere charge has a self-adjusting charge rate for everyday charging needs and keeping your battery in peak condition
- 2 amp slow charge is great for charging small and maintaining large batteries
- The charger automatically determines whether the connected battery is a 6 volt battery or a 12 volt battery
This unit has a cool percentage charged indicator. It was easy to hookup and turn on. The icons are a little confusing but all you need to know is your battery type and how to turn it on. It will do the rest for you. Most impressive!

I purchased this unit at a large chain department store nearby not through Amazon because I needed it immediately to charge my dead car battery. The unit is easy to use but, you should read the instructions first otherwise you could damage your battery if it's not set up properly. The buttons on the unit have icons that indicate fast, slow, and maintenance charging modes. You should know under what circumstances to use those modes. There are also buttons for battery type selection that are important as well.Note that the unit is actually rated at 15amp not 10amp as indicated in the Amazon description at this writing which is a good thing.
The only issue that I have with the unit is that there is a cooling fan that is very loud. I can understand the necessity to cool the charger's components when charging a battery at high currents. The problem is that the fan is always on even when the battery becomes fully charged and is being trickle charged at low current levels when entering maintenance mode. I would have preferred that the fan be thermostatically controlled so that the fan comes on only when the charger's components heat up during fast charging. The fan should shut off during maintenance mode. Since the unit is microprocessor controlled, it would be a very simple matter to control the fan thermostatically for the price of a thermistor about a 50 cents in cost. As an electrical engineer and professional software developer, I can attest that the additional software development time to implement such a feature would be about 15 minutes.
Of course, if the manufacturer designed the unit with inadequate heat sinking on the critical electronic components to save costs, then the fan could be a requirement even at trickle charging rates. But, that would be a design flaw that would manifest itself in early life failure of the electronic components which would be even more problematic.
So, if you are looking for a charger to maintain a battery in full charge condition using a trickle charge mode (sans fan cacophony), then you may want to pass this one by.

I spoke to Schumacher 4 times and got 4 different responses as to why it wasn't working properly and what settings I should use. It was turning itself on and off and setting itself to Gel when it came back on, when I had set it to AGM for my Marine battery before it went off. I did not lose power. At one point the charger read 15.7 and I could hear the acid bubbling. Of course I unplugged it, called Schumacher for the 4th and final time. The guy said no way it would charge that high. Well it did and I do know how to read! Since it was going on and off, resetting the settings and overcharging, I decided to return it as it was definitely defective and unsafe, but apparently Schumacher wouldn't stand behind it. Be careful! Overcharging any battery is DANGEROUS! Too bad, but I didn't feel safe leaving this unattended which is why I bought this "smart charger" in the first place.Want Schumacher XCS15 SpeedCharge Ship 'n Shore Battery Charger Discount?
I purchased this unit to charge and/or maintain several different types of batteries including a bank of large 125 AH deep cycle batteries. Everything worked fine but the information during charging is not totally useful. In the charging mode, the new feature of automatically switching between % charge and voltage every 15 seconds was a good idea. However, it is only half a good idea. The voltage displayed is not the actual charging voltage at the battery. It is the mode voltage (6V or 12V) which is useless information that does not need to be repeated every 15 seconds. I returned this charger in hopes of finding a better unit.I bought two of these off of Ebay.They seem to work great, but an external volt meter showed 16.1 volts, and the charge percentage was at 100%. I'm not sure why this was, but I was using an amateur radio (Motorola Spectra 45 watt VHF) at the same time. That could have easily thrown off the charger. It does say in the manual not to do that, lol.
Initially (they showed up in the mail tonight) I like them. It's easy to use and simple to operate. Plug it in, select the charging current (2, 10 or 15 amps), battery type if you know it and off it goes. Even if you don't know the battery type, just put it on standard and your all set.
It does give a battery charge percentage while it's charging kinda cool...but it does not show the amperes going into the battery. Even if you select the 15 amp charge rate, once the battery is close to being fully charged, the current (or amperes / amperage) will lower.
There are two lines about the desulfator in the manual I posted a picture of it for you to read. I Googled if there is a way to make the charger manually go into desulfation mode, but I didn't see anything.
On (Schumacher's website) there is a link on this chargers for two manuals. The second manual listed says this:
Desulfation Mode
If the battery is left discharged for an extended period of time, it could become sulfated and not accept a normal charge. If the charger detects a sulfated battery, the charger will switch to a special mode of operation designed for such batteries. The display will start counting up from 1, increasing every hour. If successful, normal charging will resume after the battery is desulfated. Desulfation could take up to 8 hours. If desulfation fails, charging will abort. See Aborted Charge section.
Here is the link for that manual: It's on page 8. The above is a direct cut & paste.
All in all it seem to be great and I'll finish my review hopefully tonight or tomorrow about the 16.1 battery voltage.
**Update**
This is from This is from their page and all the credit goes to them.
"Equalization
Equalization is essentially a controlled over charge. Some charger manufacturers call the peak voltage the charger attains at the end of the BULK mode (absorption voltage) an equalization voltage, but technically it's not. Higher capacity wet (flooded) batteries sometimes benefit from this procedure, particularly the physically tall batteries. The electrolyte in a wet battery can stratify over time, if not cycled occasionally. In equalization, the voltage is brought up above typical peak charging voltage (to 15 to 16 volts in a 12 volt system) well into the gassing stage, and held for a fixed (but limited) period. This stirs up the chemistry in the entire battery, "equalizing" the strength of the electrolyte, and knocking off any loose sulphation that may be on the battery plates.
The construction of AGM and Gel batteries all but eliminates any stratification, and most all manufacturers of this type do not recommend it (advising against it). Some manufacturers (notably Concorde) list a procedure, but voltage and time are critical to avoid battery damage."
This explains the 16-16.1 volts and why it's necessary. With an amp meter, the current output is ~2.2A, at 16 volts. The percentage display showed the battery at 97-98%. So it would not be sitting at 16v for long.
Just make sure that if you do charge a marine, deep cycle battery, change the battery type.
Seidio Innotraveler Car Kit for HTC EVO 4G - Black - Retail Packaging
This is a quality product, it has a strong suction cup and arm that sticks to either the windscreen or the supplied self adhesive plastic disc for mounting to other surfaces like a dashboard, The fit and finish are as good if not better than original equipment, the phone holder comes with an insert that allows it to be used with a stock phone and case, however if you remove the insert it make more room for those sensible people who have opted to put function over form and purchased the extended life battery (3500 mA) and cover/protective case from Seidio as I have, this allows the phone to be slid in place with a gentle push and accommodate perfectly the larger dimensions of the phone.
Once inserted the phone is charged via the supplied car charger lead, this only fits the mount and will not power the phone directly as it uses a different micro USB connector, but then why would you want to do that when you have a solid and secure place to place the phone and charge it at the same time? anyway once inserted it charges the phone and the dashboard software application on the EVO switches on (This can be deactivated in the settings) it also asks you if you want to connect to a specific Bluetooth device, once you have answered yes or no the dashboard allows you to use the phone well in the cradle, in fact if you rotate the mount on the ball joint through 90 degrees with the phone inserted, you would be hard pushed when in the Google Navigation application to distinguish this from a fully fledged SatNav due to the size of the display and the quality look and feel of the mount, which blends well with the phone case's soft rubber coating which is the same that is used on the mount.
I have used my one for about 3 weeks so far and it has been great, not problems with it moving or falling off, no problems with the fit or connections.. it is a solid product and I would recommend this purchase to anyone with an EVO 4G and a car/boat.
**** UPDATE ****
I was so impressed with the EVO 4G and this car kit I purchased the same for my wife... how much of an endorsement is that?
Andrew McJannett-SmithThis is byfar the best car kit for the HTC EVO. I tried a few cheap general purpose car kits and they were all garbage. I even tried the HTC official one but it has some major draw backs also. You need to remove the case and the little riged arm was so short I could not put the phone in portrate mode without it hitting my windshield. This one is great, my phone automatically goes into nav mode as soon as I place it in the cradle and I can use it in portrait or landscape mode with no problems. It even comes with the charging cable which the HTC model does not. Great job Seidio.

I tried two of the Evo docks from Sprint, and found the USB connector too finicky and difficult to mount the phone onto. This unit is fairly well designed, but due to the multiple pieces making up the whole, it picks up a LOT of vibration from my vehicle--something I didn't experience with the Sprint dock. Also, the power cord sticking out the side is awkward when you rotate the dock counterclockwise (something else done better with the Sprint dock). However, the Evo slides right into this dock and fits the USB connector easily and every time.It would probably have less vibration if I wanted to apply a drop or two of superglue or mounted it in a different location. However, that power connector is just too poorly placed, and I don't want to lock the unit into a restrictive position with glue.
Although it comes with a power adapter, I find it odd that the dock uses mini-USB for power, even though the phone is micro-USB. This means you can't use the same power adapter if you're not using the dock--at least not without another cable or adapter.
Not a good fit for me, but I think this dock will work for many people.

It works for its intended purpose. Build quality is good, and don't worry about the suction cup, it is rock steady. I actually had trouble removing the suction cup after detaching it the first couple of times I used it! Use of an adapter to fit a "naked" EVO worried me, but it hasn't created any problems, and I appreciate the option to add some Seidio cases in the future without losing use of my car mount.In use, the EVO is held in a steady way, though screen glare is still a problem (this isn't the mount's fault, just a fact of life). I find it very usable for navigation.
My biggest gripe on the mount is that the included car charger isn't a very powerful charger. It barely recharges the EVO with Bluetooth and GPS turned off. Running GPS, Bluetooth, and 3G discharges the battery at a steady rate even with the charger plugged in. I'm not pleased that the charger uses a mini-USB (rather than micro-USB) to hook into the car mount, but I haven't detatched it yet, and probably never will. It does inhibit using the charger for other devices, unfortunately. If I were more pleased with the charger, I'd give this five stars.

This is a great car kit and fits the Evo perfectly. Its a little bulky, but not bad. One thing you will need to do immediately upon receiving is drill a small hole on the front where the mic meets the case on the interior. Use a small, newer bit so it cuts cleanly and you will be 100% satisfied with this kit. the suction cup is uber strong. It would also be nice if they sent along the small microUSB to USB adapter that one needs for the extra power port.12V 12AH Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery for F2 APC SU1000 SU1000BX120 UPS

Motorola TX500 Universal Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone - Black - Retail Packaging
Next up, I paired an Apple iPhone 4 Black Smartphone 32GB (AT&T).
The speaker phone did much better than the built-in hands-free on both phones. My callers reported that my voice quality was clear, free of echoes and not much background noise. On my end, the voices came through clear and loud. Most voice commands were received correctly by both phones. I had somebody call me from the car and their voice quality was very good and understandable.
This speaker phone can pair with up to 6 devices and use 2 at the same time. In theory, you can take calls from 2 cell phones at the same time. I never tried this but I'll update the review if I ever do.
Compared to a Bluetooth headset, this is in a different league. With 45 hours of talk time and 6 months of stand-by, I haven't turned mine off. I've only recharged it once this month more out of habit than necessity.
The voice prompts make this device very intuitive. I'm impressed with the overall quality and simplicity of this speaker phone.
In my state, NJ, this would qualify as a hands-free device and would be legal to make and receive calls on while driving. IMHO The Motorola TX500 is my second bluetooth hands free device from Motorola. Since I really liked the Motorola Roadster Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone (Retail Packaging), I would like to compare the TX500 with it. Basically the Motorola TX500 is a simplified version of the Roadster. All the bells and whistles that the Roadster had were removed. The TX500 focuses only on the basic features. Taking calls and making calls. The voice guide (or voice prompts) feature that the Motorola bluetooth hands free devices commonly has works very well and thanks to this, pairing of the phones to the device could not be simpler. You can turn off the voice guide by pressing and holding the volume button until you hear saying 'voice intructions off', if you do not like it. I connected two phones to the TX500 and had no problem to pair those (a Verizon Fascinate and a Verizon basic feature Samsung phone).
The best parts of the TX500 are good voice quality and strong battery life. The call quality was very good and the TX500 lasted 2 weeks without any problem. For your information, I did not make many calls while I am driving, though. I charged my Roadster once a week, so the TX500 lasted twice much with a single charge.
The things that I do not like of the TX500 are that all the features that I loved so much from the Roadster were gone. The TX500 does not deliver the music from your phone. And the TX500 is not capable of working as an FM transmitter that I liked the most from the Roadster. The Roadster sends every music and sound from your phone to the FM radio in your car flawlessly and I have been so happy with this feature since my car does not have any auxillary input for the audio. And the TX500 cannot sense the vibration of your car. What this means is that you should manually turn on the TX500 every time you hop on your car. The Roadster automatically detects the motion of your car and turns itself on whenever you get on the car. This was one of the best feature I have ever seen from any bluetooth device for a vehicle.
Therefore, if you need a bluetooth hands free device with solid basic features such as good voice quality and long battery life, the TX500 is for you. However, if you need a motion-sensing bluetooth device with an FM transmitter built in, go for the Motorola Roadster.

Pairing this with my iPhone 3GS couldn't have been easier. The slightly mechanical female voice could talk even a five year old through the very simple pairing process. Calling on the device is simple as all get out and in my car, which is not a jeep or convertible, I have no problem understanding and being understood by the party I'm talking too.I do have an earpiece that I used to use, but my significant other is often with me when I'm driving and is always, always, interrupting, wanting to be part of the conversation, now it's like the other party is in the car with us. Five big stars from me for Motorola. This little device does everything it claims. I use an iPhone 4 and have been wanting a hands-free solution while driving my older 1999 Windstar van without spending $$$ to install a system. I've tried BlueTooth ear pieces and headsets before, but sound quality has been horrendous as is battery life. I saw this Motorola and hoped it would work, and and happy to report that you need to buy one of these ASAP. The sound quality is VERY good for a small device, I have no trouble hearing it at all with the A/C cranked (and believe me, we do a lot of that in Phoenix, already had a 100 degree day in March). But even more of a surprise, the sound quality to the person you are talking to is better than I had hoped. My wife is picky about that, because in the past with other BT devices we've dealt with tinny sound, echo, white noise, you name it. But she says this sounds VERY good and I trust that opinion. I called my work voicemail and left a message to hear what it sounded like, and was equally happy. Understand that a speakerphone sounds like a speakerphone, but there are some that sound good for what they are, and Motorola got it right with this device.
Two other big plusses: one is the huge amount of talk time, which I hope lasts a while as batteries do wear down. I'll post back later about that. But the other neat feature is the voice instructions when turning it on: it tells you exactly when to hit the button and connect and how much battery life you have left, same way a GPS device talks to you. Pairing this device is a breeze, and every time I turn it on it instantly connects. Nice!
I have found my hands-free solution, and it will work in any car I drive, even rentals when travelling on business. It'll pair with more than one phone so several family members can use it in the family car. I think it's a no-brainer to say "highly recommended"!
***UPDATE: May 11, 2011***
I've been using this thing every day and it has been absolutely flawless. It pairs almost instantly, and the sound quality continues to marvel, especially to the person on the other end. All I have to do is turn on Bluetooth on my iPhone 4 when I hop in the van (I don't leave BT on 24/7, just wastes battery life), and then I turn on this X500 and in seconds the female voice says connected and reports the battery life (Low, Medium, or High). I've charged it ONCE the day I reviewed it and it's still going, battery level "High". Great device.

I really love this device! It is super easy to set up and works perfectly. The speaker works well, calls are audible and I have received favorable feedback from people spoken to from the Motorola TX500.You can use the Motorola TX500 straight out of the box since it is delivered at medium battery level. When you turn it on for the first time, you are directed to go to the bluetooth setting on your phone. It works with any bluetooth enabled cell phone. A pin number is provided, if needed. A female voice walks you through the connection process and although the voice is a little mechanical, it's easy to understand and speaks English only. I paired it with an iPhone4 (all you have to do is turn bluetooth on and the iPhone and Motorola TX500 make the connections for you) and Blackberry Bold without issue. There is an audible battery status given and a light on the side provides constant battery usage with red meaning low, purple/medium and blue/high.
It clips securely onto your visor and once fully charged, you can remove the cord for a sleeker look. There are four large buttons on the front, mute button, volume down, volume up and the call button. The call button answers calls, places calls (you will be prompted once pressed calls are voice activated), places calls on hold to answer another incoming call, and ends calls. Also, it allows you to take calls from 2 cell phones at the same time and most importantly, it can store up to 6 cell phone connections. This is a great feature for families. It refers to the phones by number, in the order paired to this device.
I spend a lot of time running errands and I love being able to use my cell phone while driving with minimum effort and without worry. I just need to remember to turn the bluetooth off when I'm home since Motorola TX500's range can interfere with calls inside the home. Two clicks and problem solved. I really love how customer service is provided by telephone (1-800-331-6456) and through their website. Too many companies have stopped provided telephone support and I value those who still offer this option since sometimes, speaking to a live person is the best option.

This travel adapter worked pretty well while we were in Italy and France. The only complaint I have is that the plug portion is not very long. There were many outlets in Italy and France that were somewhat recessed, which meant that this adapter would not work because it got too big too close to the plug (or the plug was not long enough). If the outlet was flush with the wall, there were no issues. Luckly we had a few different adapters for these types of outlets. The size is great (small), compared to other adapters.Kawasaki 840239 Black 18v Replacement Battery

Had an old Nikota brand 18V drill that, like most cordless tools, developed a bad battery. It is an old defunct brand and I had no expectation of finding a new battery, but after looking closely at this design I decided to buy it. It fits perfectly and runs well. New life in old tools, that is a great feeling.Want Kawasaki 840239 Black 18v Replacement Battery Discount?
I had bought the cordless drill at tractor supply and they did not have any extra batteries. Your price was besr.After two years, my original battery stopped working; the replacement delivers the same performance as a new original. Why only two years of light use? I don't know and that is why I gave four rather than five stars.Jawbone PRIME JBT02 Bluetooth Headset - Retail Packaging - Red

I have this for 2 days now. I read the other reviews, yes the device is more dark pink then red but the sound is great. My husband can't tell I'm talking on a bluetooth device. This is great for vehicles with something causing the battery to go dead over long periods on inactivity, but not ment to charging your battery quickly. My truck sets for a week to two months without use and the battery would go dead because of a small current draw from something in the system. One of these chargers made it so I can go to my truck after over two months of not starting and not worry about if it will start.Read Best Reviews of Coleman 50005 5-Watt Solar Powered Trickle Charger Here
