GTMax Black USB Car Charger Plus Home Travel Wall Charger (2100mA), 6ft USB Data Charge Cable for Am

GTMax Black USB Car Charger Plus Home Travel Wall Charger, 6ft USB Data Charge Cable for Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7-inch/ 8.9-inch tablet, The New 2012 2nd Generation Kindle fire
  • Compatible with Kindle Fire HD tablet, The 2012 New Kindle fire 2
  • 1X Micro-USB Sync & Charge Cable (6 FT) - Black
  • 1X USB Car Charger (2100mA) - Black (samsung)
  • 1X USB Travel Charger (2100mA)- Black (samsung)

I had previously purchased from Amazon what supposedly was a super charger for my Kindle Fire. Unfortunately instead of charging it........it sucks all the charge out of my Kindle. When I called Amazon to complain they simply told me to throw it away and they would issue me a new one. Take from that what you will.

In the meantime, I purchased a new Kindle 8.9" HD and needed a car charger for it, because we will soon be driving to Fl. from the north. I decided on this one after reading the reviews and took a chance on it. I tried it out first on my Kindle 3G because I was afraid it might be harmful to the new one. It works and it works very quickly. I'm very happy with this product. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a charger for traveling. It also works on our Garmin so I guess that's a plus.....one less cord to drag along with us.

Ramsond SunShield 12V 12 Volt 8A 8 Amp Solar Charge Controller Regulator

Ramsond SunShield 12V 12 Volt 8A 8 Amp Solar Charge Controller RegulatorI purchased a Ramsond charge controllers about 3 years ago and it has preformed flawlessly since then. I have it connected to a 5 watt solar panel that keeps the battery charged in a 10KW Diesel generator. It keeps the battery charged at all times. The exact same battery kept going down after charging with a battery charger almost every three weeks. It's worth the price of the charge controller just to have peace of mind and no trouble. The battery has never gone down in 3 years! I also have a 20 watt Ramsond (black)solar panel and it produces far more power than the 20 watt (blue)solar panel by another manufacturer. Based on my experience with Ramsond, solar panels and charge controllers, Ramsond has products that are superior in quality. I have solar panels by 9 different manufacturers and charge controllers by 5 different manufacturers and some out-perform others. My main house solar setup has been running flawlessly since 2005. I have 4 independent solar setups for different projects that I work on. I will buy Ramsond products in the future! For people that have had problems with these charge controllers, this is my suggestion: Disconnect the solar panel from the charge controller, but leave the battery connected. Leave it disconnected for a few hours and then reconnect. Once the charge controller recognizes your setup, it will never give you any trouble whatsoever.

As indicated by another reviewer this controller leaks current back into the solar panels at night (or when an RV is parked in a garage) and discharges the batteries. It is worthless in a situation where one needs to maintain a charge in batteries, as in an RV.

Buy Ramsond SunShield 12V 12 Volt 8A 8 Amp Solar Charge Controller Regulator Now

Excellent for a $20 controller. For situations where you are leaving the controller connected full time, and if your panel does not have one as many decent panels do, a simple diode on the hot lead will prevent discharge at night.

Nice little controller, good price, no problems yet, don't know how long it will last! It does not have a weather proof case.

Want Ramsond SunShield 12V 12 Volt 8A 8 Amp Solar Charge Controller Regulator Discount?

I do not recommend this controller.

It works fine for charging; charging and floating at the correct voltages.

However, at night it leaks power back to the solar panel which discharges the battery.

Sunforce 22007 Coleman 7.5W Folding Panel

Sunforce 22007 Coleman 7.5W Folding Panel
  • Charges USB or 12 volts powered devices
  • Charges smartphones, cell phones, digital cameras, GPS systems and more
  • Fully weatherproof for added durability
  • Perfect for traveling, hiking, camping, emergency situations and a variety of outdoor activities
  • Comes equipped with grommets for easy travel and storage

During this review, I am going to be comparing the Sunforce 22007 Coleman 7.5W Folding Panel to the Goal Zero Nomad 7, which is the only other solar charger that I have had experience with and the product with which it is competing. Right out of the box, I was impressed by its compactness. I opened its velcro latch and spread it out. The charger has square, polycrystalline solar panels that make efficient use of space. The panels don't have a perfect appearance, as the horizontal conductive lines are inconsistent, but I don't expect this to hurt the panel's performance. Along the edges it has rope loops that are meant to be attachment points, which are comparable to the Nomad 7. On the back of the panel, there is a zipper enclosure that includes a power regulator which has a permanently attached 12 Volt adapter and a female, USB port. When you unzip the pouch all the way, the 12 Volt adapter tends to fall out. I couldn't wait to test it out, so I ran outside and pointed it toward the sun. At 3 in the afternoon on a clear day, I measured 5 Volts and .83 amps (A little over 4.15 watts). Compared this to the Goal Zero Nomad 7, which measured 5 Volts at .65 amps (3.28 watts) under the same conditions. I am guessing this difference in performance is due to the 0.5 extra watt of power rating from the Coleman Sunforce panel, as well as a better USB power regulator.

I tested the panel in low light conditions: An overcast morning, and it didn't produce any power, whereas the Goal Zero Nomad 7 did produce 5 Volts at 40 mA. This difference is probably due to polycrystalline solar panels vs monocrystalline solar panels, which are known for the low light efficiency. This was a very low light test.

I also tested it in a mostly cloudy midday sun situation: The Sunforce Coleman panel produced 5 Volts at .35 amps, whereas the Nomad 7 produced 5 Volts at .3 amps. They were both able to start a charging cycle on my phone under these conditions: 65 percent sky coverage according to the National Weather Service with stratocumulus perculidus clouds, with very little sky visible. This result reinforced my confidence in the Sunforce panel, given my foggy morning test the day before.

I purchased this solar charger to provide me with power while camping, so its compact nature is a plus, and it will be an invaluable resource when in an emergency situation. Knowing that you will be able to charge your communication and navigation devices with only the power of the sun is a great feeling. At this price, I couldn't pass trying it out, as I intend on getting more as gifts.

Compared to Goal Zero:

Pros:

Better output. at 3 PM 5 Volts .8 amps compared to 5 Volts .65 amps with Goal Zero in direct sunlight.

Smaller

Lighter (Even with 12V adapter. It isn't removable)

Cons:

12 Volt adapter tends to flop about when you open the zipper.

The usb port is very close to the zipper enclosure if you intend to enclose your charging device within the zipper. (This may have not been intended by the designer)

Perhaps slightly less low light performance.

I don't have any special equipment to give you hard numbers on voltage or amperage but I can tell you that it will charge my iPad2 to 87% with out the need for an external battery pack like my Nomad 7 system does.

The unit is not as "universal" as the Goal Zero system, but it does have a 12 cigarette lighter permanently attached for 12 volt charging and a single USB plug.

Edit 1-11-13

I'm updating my review and taking away 2 starts as it no longer functions after being exposed to moisture/rain. I plugged in my panel to charge a lawn tractor battery that powers my gate on a cloudy day. It started to rain, but I was not worried as the charger was out of the direct rain fall and it is "weatherproof". The next day I went out with my volt meter and was not getting any output from the 12 volt plug or any power from the USB plug.

I still think this panel is a good overall deal, but it is not weatherproof.

The Good: light weight, charges pretty fast for a solar panel, has webbing straps to hang from my backpack while i wear it on a hike or MTB ride, very tough and flexible panels that wont shatter/crack easily i dropped it a few times while camping and riding my bike.I recently my HTC Rezound was almost dead so i plugged it in and threw the panel on my dash went in the grocery store and came out about 45 mins later and it was at 50%. this thing is pretty cool I cant wait to take it camping/backpacking.

The bad: USB plug is in a weird spot and there is not much clearance around it so its kinda tight to plug it in because the zipper is close to the plug. The 12v Car charger is permanently attached to the panel and it is bulky(I just cut it off because I wanted it to pack flat)

Great for: backpackers, busy people who love to use their phone/GPS/Ipod while off the grid.

Over all I like it a lot, and the downsides are very minor it out performs a similar one sold at harbor freight that is heavier and bulkier and only puts out 5 watts.

Scosche IP2IN1 iPod/Universal USB Charger for Home and Car

Scosche IP2IN1 iPod/Universal USB Charger for Home and Car
  • Charge any USB device including phones, MP3 players, Blackberries, headphones and more
  • For use with existing iPod USB cable
  • Includes USB 12V charger and 100V wall charger
  • Connects to most USB powered devices.
  • Folding prongs for storage and travel.
  • 1 amp makes recharging as fast as possible

I bought this USB charger 3 months ago to use with my iPod touch and it has worked flawlessly. The wall charger is very portable as the plug folds into the body of the charger. Both seem to charge the iPod equally well and I have not noticed the charging to be any different from connecting the iPod to the computer. One minor (if obvious) downside is that you need to bring the USB cable along in the car or to other locations where you will not connect to the computer.

This is the second time I have been asked to review this transaction for some strange reason.

This vendor supposedly offered a "Scosche" brand set of USB chargers at a steeply discounted price. The chargers pictured in the offer clearly bore the Scosche brand name, and they used the Scosche "retail price" from which to show the steep markdown in price.

When I received these items there were in no kind of packaging -just loose inside of a jiffy bag mailer, so it was difficult to tell if they were even new. Though the items looked similar to the ones pictured in the offer, they were NOT Scosche brand products. They were instead some cheap, no-name, made in China, knockoff, of the type you'll find on Ebay selling for a buck apiece.

When I wrote back, the vendor admitted that the items were not Scosche but rather "OEM", but assured me they have sold "thousands without any problem". They further went on to "guarantee" that I would have "no problem" with the units. Their guarantee however, would be of little consequence should one of these cheap chargers fry my daughters expensive Ipod.

I decided to cut my losses as the whole transaction was just a few bucks. The vendor did refund my money, (I think), and the only reason I am responding to this request for a review again, is to warn other buyers.

Look, bottom line is: Amazon is a great resource that I have used in the past, and will surely use again. And this is the first time I have experienced any kind of problem purchasing through Amazon. But vendors who engage in classic "bait and switch" tactics are not worthy of being represented by Amazon.

I bought this for my wife's car, which I usually use on the weekends. She has an iPhone, I have a BlackBerry, so I wanted to minimize charger clutter in the car. While it works fine with her iPhone 3Gs, it does NOT work with my BlackBerry 9800. A message pops up on the BlackBerry saying that the connected charger is insufficient to power the device.

So much for the "universal" part, although I have long ago learned not to trust the title descriptions on Amazon.

Oddly enough, the AC outlet charger does work with my BB. But if you are buying this primarily for use in the car, be forewarned: the iPhone, yes; BlackBerry, no.

Shumacher SE-40MAP Automatic/Manual Battery Charger, 10 Amp

Shumacher SE-40MAP Automatic/Manual Battery Charger, 10 Amp
  • Solid state automatic charger has shutoff when battery is fully charged, then reduces to a maintenance level
  • Special circuit for maintenance-free, deep cycle, low maintenance and conventional batteries
  • Recharges automobile batteries in 3 to 7 hours and recreational deep cycle batteries in 8 to 11 hours
  • Silicone control rectifier senses battery condition to prevent overcharge
  • Two switches for versatility of uses and full automatic charging

As with so many products on Amazon, a big part of my beef with this charger is the minimal description. In this case it's actually misleading, implying that this is a highly versatile charger, which it isn't. I instead turned to an owner's manual that I found online, which is generic and likewise describes several functions (including adjustable current settings) not found on this unit, which is specifically designed for charging your car's starting/accessories battery, or for standard lead-acid 6 or 12 volt deep-cycle batteries. The unit seems to be fairly solidly built (in Mexico), a rather old-fashioned design based on a heavy 60-Hz transformer rather than a switching power supply. It's nevertheless microprocessor-controlled, and does a decent job of charging up your car battery without overcharge. However, it's not recommended for anything smaller than 40 Ah, which would exclude most motorcycle and lawn tractor batteries as well as UPS batteries. The only available settings are manual/automatic-SLI/automatic-deep-cycle and 6V/12V. There's no separate AGM setting, for example, even though those should have a different charging profile than flooded batteries. Overall, it's an OK product for its limited purpose.

  • Fully automatic - for charging and maintenance
  • Flexible for different battery needs
  • Patented desulphation function
  • Made for all weather conditions and situations

I own two of these excellent chargers they are very simple to operate and very durable.

The chargers are weatherproof, and you can permanently mount them in the engine compartment with the provided ring terminals, or just use the alligator clips.

The charger has a battery status indicator (low / full), and settings for Motorcycle, Car, or Gel battery. The charger cycles from trickle current, to pulses, and shuts off when the battery is full. There is no better charger for winter storage battery tending, bringing nearly dead batteries back to life, or just recharging boat batteries slowly overnight.

Finally, I should mention that the current version of the 3300 has some improvements over the already excellent older version (I now have one of each). The latest version includes:

Heavier gauge wiring

Much heavier and more durable alligator clips

A nice zip-up storage case

This charger, as well as the current (more popular) Battery Tender chargers are both made in China. This charger seems to be superior to my Battery Tender chargers in that it appears to be well sealed, of a more modern design, spark proof. Enclosed in a two piece cast housing, not an aluminum box. The charging algorithms will bring back a sulphated battery in some cases. It has three different charging settings, and brought my sulphated APC UPS battery back to limited life. It is particularly well suited for small motorcycle size batteries as well as larger batteries. It may be left connected indefinitely.

.

My only complaint is the cheap power cord that gets as stiff as a broomstick in extreme cold. . . . . $%##@!! cheap plastic covered power cords, anyway!

I ordered 2 different chargers to maintain my gate opener's deep cycle battery (a simple 4 output charger with extension cords for charging other deep cycle batteries from amazon Battery Tender 022-0148-DL-WH 12V 4-Bank Battery Management System) and this unit has a far superior charging design.

The 4 bank battery tender does a simple fast rate charge then switches to a trickle charge at a constant voltage with 4 outputs.

This unit pulses the battery under charge and features 3 operating modes with different current outputs for different sized batteries. The selections are motorcycle which also works well for SLA gel cells or AGM batteries, standard automotive starting battery, deep cycle batttery, and off.

What makes the CTEK unit special is that it uses a pulse charge in all modes to attempt to desulphate batteries, while the battery tender does not. This method of charging has proven successful in restoring lead acid batteries that won't take a charge any more.

It comes with a waterproof 12V output cable and a set of clips or rings for permanent installation under the hood of your car. In addition to the LEDs for indicating the type of battery being charged, a second set is provided for empty, 1/2 full, and maintenance pulse charge mode.

There is also a noticable increase in quality between the battery tender and this unit small details like a water sealed housing and gaskets on the connectors indicate quality in manufacture.

For a single 12V lead chemistry battery this is a useful, well made tool.

This is a great charger. Our family van doesn't get driven much during certain times of the year so it sits in the garage. It's on its second battery and I am determined to keep this one fresh and topped off. The included dongle for for permanent installation makes this a snap, all I have to do is pop the hood and connect it up to the connector and I'm done. The charger automatically goes into maintenance mode where it keeps the battery nice and happy. I've also used this charger to revive an otherwise completely drained battery for a neighbor's car. He left an interior light on and discovered that the battery was completely flat two weeks later. I let him borrow this charger and it fully charged the battery over a weekend and the battery has not given my neighbor any more issues.

It costs more than some of the dumb battery chargers, but this one takes up less space, comes with valuable accessories, and provides enough current to properly charge larger capacity batteries. Two thumbs up!

SUMMARY: I received this car camera in a glossy box with accessories. I did some handheld tests to quickly find out quality of recording before installing in car. First video attached shows reasonable clarity, sharpness, color. I made extensive notes at the time now lost in remodel, yet if found will post more details. In general, I recommend this camera at this price point. Got it for 99usd in December 2012 and timely shipped. Dual lenses work in same plane, meaning main lens and secondary lens co-dependent (you cannot turn the second lens just anyway you want). Second lens has a zoom diagram on it; it has a fixed focus, just more telescopic. Be sure to remove tiny circular plastic that adheres to both lenses. Body takes SDHC memory cards. Manual illiterate, not a problem since camera intuitive by having buttons with obvious icons that do multiple operations by press or hold. It has settings for night vision and to record dual images in vertical or horizontal display (my video shows H set). I had only one complaint that caused me to return it; needed it to show accurate color at night of traffic signal, something most users would not care about and should not deter you from purchasing this very good camera. It says Yiking above, however internet shows it unbranded at a lot of places at nearly same price.

DETAILS: I found my notes, so will leave my original review above and call it Summary, with my extensive notes next.

I made this handheld video test at midday of this Yiking camera right out of box as it arrived partially charged, though instructions say to charge it fully before use. Test produced huge MOV video file shown converted and reduced for upload in size to Mp4 with no loss in quality.

Instruction manual in box not English literate so it took me some figuring though many basic camera operations intuitive from its clearly marked buttons. Camera has TWO lenses that can turn to view different directions, such as main one (on left side) with its wider view can look forward over car hood onto street, while secondary camera (on right) can point into inside of vehicle with its narrow magnified view (yet not sufficient to catch clearly action outside rear window). I would use this secondary camera to record same direction as main camera or turn it back to view behavior of my passengers when I step out. Camera has ability to save final video file to replay (on its own display and on my LED tv or computer monitor) as a single screen, or (if I set BOTH CAMERAS to record) playback shows as two Vertical or two Horizontal screens. Depending on setting, my final video file plays back a movie in which objects such as cars appear stretched or squeezed. My attached video resulted from VERTICAL SETTING.

Another test during dark of night showed it recorded adequately activity street traffic in front of it, though in washed out colors as expected for car cameras in this price point. When infrared switched on it did not show much more clearly; this IR effect noticed from closeup to about ten feet; IR made green foliage look purple and turned multicolored tree lights white. I inserted an old SDHC card in camera for test recordings and camera used it without requiring reformat. My video and photo tests showed camera produced good quality MOV files that played well when connected to my LED tv. I downloaded movs to computer and converted to mp4s, one shown attached (conversion to 720x480 MP4). I like the variety of specific function buttons with extended operations depending on short or long press or hold. After my hours of car camera

research including reading reviews and watching others' videos I bought this item listing in December 2012 at USD99, received it quickly, and tested it for my chief purpose of ticket defense against our county street cameras where it failed due to inability to show real color at night. I got better results using my cellphone's 5MP camera that produced similar widescreen video yet with more accurate street and traffic light colors at night.

Contacting Amazon for product return led to seller contacting me. I returned it on my dime after obtaining authorization directly to seller who refunded purchase price in about a week after emails where seller thoughtfully tried to help me get what I needed (precise color of lights).

During my research I found prices on internet about the same as here at Amazon, though I did find one significantly lower.

My likes included its light weight without a toy feeling, versatility as a car camera and still camera with photo and video, fast charge (though fast drain), use of SDHC card, full set of accessories, no need to install drivers to connect to computer, large display that can turn off during road use, swivel lenses though view of one lens dependent on angle of other, ease of operation with buttons and controls brightly marked, multifunction buttons, high quality MOV files, date and time (once set) appear on final recordings (though in awkward location).

My dislikes focus on nuisances: losing a full charge fast if not connected to external power; insubstantial dash/windshield mount failing to securely hold camera and permitting bounce or slip off (this problem fixed with cellotape); inability of secondary camera to turn in all directions making its current view totally dependent on angle of main camera; mov files too huge to send by email; date and time unreadable as shown in tiny white lettering in upper left of screen where daylight sky exists (see sample video and notice upper left how it will vanish); finally and mainly: inability to show colors of street and car lights at night (essential to ticket defense). No GPS.

MORE PLUS: seller (spelled both Hawaii Technology and Tecknology) has office In USA; responded quickly with interest in my product return and attempted to help resolve problem. I recommend this camera for medium cost buyers looking for a decent unbranded generic device. Although device listed above says Yiking, on several sites I found it unbranded.

So far so good.

I've clocked over 8 hours recording time so far. Apparently some users had problems with the instructions but luckily I didn't need them. The menu seems pretty intuitive. My unit is configured to 720P dual but you have the option to use only one camera. Unfortunately the left camera (non zoom) seems to take longer to adjust to the lighting. The auto-focus takes a few seconds also but then ago it's not an expensive device. My 32 GB microSD can fit over 100 five minute files.

I originally wanted a GoPro HD but couldn't justify sending that much for a camera for my car. This seems to be a happy medium. If you're thinking about buying then ask yourself what you plan to use the YIKING for?

Clore Automotive JNC4000 1100 Peak amp 12V Portable Jump Starter

Clore Automotive JNC4000 1100 Peak amp 12V Portable Jump Starter
  • It has a 1100 peak ampere
  • Battery status indicator gauge
  • It has 23 inch heavy-duty #4 cables
  • It has a DC outlet to power 12 volt accessories
  • This item is not for sale in Catalina Island

The unit I bought was purchased from Griot's Garage, which is this item rebranded. It is thin enough (3.5" wide) that I could keep it in my Mazda RX-7 between the seat and storage bins. I used it many times over the last 5 years and it seems to be holding up great. I put it in my finance's car around a year and a half ago. Even she has commented on how often she has used it; not for herself but for coworkers and customers at where she works.

The only criticism I've found is that the cables are a little short at 23" long. Not unusable but I'd like them longer. I just purchased the "660" version of the Jump-N-Carry, the JNC660 for my truck due to the 46" long cables and a larger peak amp rating. I've never had it fail to turn over a vehicle, but I thought it may help with the V8.

BTW I attached two strips of heavy duty velcro (the hook side) on each side of the back of the unit. This prevents the unit from sliding around in her truck.

For Christmas I wanted to buy my parents an auto battery starter that would work without them having to get out of their car, since they live in the Rocky Mountains where it can stay below freezing. My husband informed me because of their elevation, climate and they drive an SUV they would need something with a lot my amps; so with his help on line we found the jumpstart 4000. Dad was so excited to get it, he opened it before Christmas and had it out during our visit starting quads that had been sitting out in the snow and not running for quite some time. Then wouldn't you know it our Ford F-250 truck would not start one morning, after a -9 degree F night, when we were taking our one year old to the Urgent care with a 103.7 fever. We grabbed the Jumpstart and the the truck was up and running in minutes. By the time we were headed home from our Rocky Mt.Colorado trip the Jumpstart had been used nearly everyday, even to jump the neighbors snow plow. We were all very impressed with Jumpstart 4000 and knew we made a good purchase.

The only short-coming to this unit is the 23" inch cable leads. These units will out perform "ANY" other unit on the market today and especially the styles that you can buy from the big dept stores. Do any of those "other" units come with a certificate to repair or replace their unit for $25.00? Mine did when I bought it back in 1998 and the unit I have is still working to this day... I believe its now $50.00 to send it in for a one time exchange! An "internal" charger is built into this unit so you don't have to deal with attaching an external charger like some brands have out there to charge it, and who doesn't own an extension cord? I do use my unit commercially and if you can safely hook this unit up to the correct leads on the battery your boosting than this unit will not let you down! Buy it and you'll love it! Note" The 660 Model has 46" inch lead cables and is a larger more powerful unit but. this unit will get the job done if you don't need the longer cable leads.. Enough said! Good Luck, Mike

for this item you need to provide the cord for it to charge.. ok its only an extention cord.. but they could have added one for about a buck. also the directions say not to let it charge for more that 24 hours i have a cheaper model from sears that you can keep plugged in all the time and it has a smart charge function to protect the unit..

this model just doesnt measure up.... but its ok

The Clore Automotive JNC4000 is the product to take seriously. After looking around a long time, I decided that this particular model was the best. I am very pleased with my decision.

I first chose a jump starter from my local store. It was a Super Start Power Pack Portable 12 volt power source with 1000 peak amps. When I got it out of the box, I noticed that the lights on the actual charging unit were wrong. The printed label on the unit had been reversed leaving me very confused to whether it was charged or charging. Instead of reading "Charging" it said "Charged!" I called the company to complain and they said that they would call me back. They didn't bother. The quality control was in question and the company didn't care!?

Back to the Clore. It is sturdy, built well and the instructions have obviously been written in this country and easy to read. There are no corny lights in red or green. It has an easy to read needle that clearly indicates where the charge is or how much more is needed to bring it up to its peak power. Nice.

The smaller cables are of no concern for the average home owner. They are conveniently located and easy to unwind. This particular sealed battery can be stored or travel in any direction. On its side, back or whatever. Many units say that they should be stored upright or packed that way for travel. Not this one!

So, the big complaint seems to be that there isn't a power cable that comes with it. I personally feel that this is not a problem. I will pack a small power cable about ten feet long without that multiple cable that comes on the smaller ones sometimes used for lamps, etc. It takes one plug outlet on the box and one on the wall. I like that it is not attached to the box itself so I can store it easier while I'm on a trip. This unit I have been told is used mainly by auto dealerships to jump start dead batteries when they have been depleted sitting in the parking lots. By the way... the little card that comes with the unit has a lifetime guarantee, but it has gone from $25.00 to $50.00 and now is up to $75.00. So, when something goes wrong to the original owner to send the product back and forth and to repair or replace it costs $75.00! Forever... if you live that long! I recommend this jump start to anyone who needs something that is dependable and long lasting. Good Luck... Mike

It's very easy to use and install but the sound quality is horrible. Always hear static no matter which station I tune to. When I receive a call I can hardly hear it even on max volume in the car. They can hear me well, but I can hardly hear them. For the cost I suppose you pay for what you get, but I would rather have skipped this purchase and paid more for quality. Even when the volume on my radio and phone is on max the music is not as loud as it should be. Just overall a bad quality of sound playback on this item.

I was so excited to buy this item, but the signal interfered with the radio in my car. It made an awful sound whenever I attempted to use it and on which ever station I chose, I looked online and found that this had happened with other Vue owners as well. In the end I still gave the product 3 stars though because I gifted it to a friend with a Celica and he LOVES it.

It works and its a very simple set up.

Fast delivery and very eager to please customer service!

However, in my little car it tended to obsessionally tip over on one side.

Also, The static you hear when you are listening to your mp3 songs can get annoying but it's somewhat difficult to change the station because the placement of the station display is at the top of the thing and you can't see it without taking your eyes off the road longer than I, at least, am comfortable with.

The hands free talking feature is very cool and works well but listening to music is not a great experience. It just depends what you value most. I do use it enough to not have sent it back but I don't use it as much as I thought I would.

Ok, hopefully I have done something wrong in installing this unit, because no one else talks about the fact that the unit is top heavy with the Blackberry in it. If I turn a corner, the unit itself turns around. I am very disappointed at the asethetics of this unit. Any suggestions? I haven't bothered with the FM transmission thing. Sounds like a good idea, but the thing is a hinderence when it is flopping around like a fish. It is difficult to keep the unit upright, and the flexible tube is awkward to bend. At this point, I would rather have a unit that securely holds the Blackberry. I don't care if it charges it or has the call through the radio. Have emailed the manufacturer, but have heard nothing. Going to look into returning this. Too aggervating fo me!

This product works great with my Verizon Moto Droid. I'm able to listen to music, podcasts, and Google Navigation through my car audio system. Since there is nothing currently specifically marketed for the Droid, I figured this would work since it has the connections I need. I tested the hands-free feature and that works so well that the people on the other end did not know they were on speakerphone. The audio quality is as good as one could expect from a radio transmitter. I'm not sure about the durability of the spine in the long run, but for now, it's up to the task of holding up my (relatively heavy) Droid. Since this is a universal product, the placing of the ports isn't ideal for my particular phone. The audio cord comes from the bottom up to connect to the top of my phone, and the USB input is on the wrong side. This presents a bit of a cable management challenge. However, I knew this going in, so it was not a surprise.

I was a little worried that the USB charger would not work since I've had products fail to charge via USB before, but this is able to seamlessly charge my Droid via the provided Micro-USB.

Overall, though not overly elegant, this is a fine product to suit my needs.
